I ask, because GameStop has a ridiculously good deal. Comes with Mario, Splatoon and Smash Bros for $150. That is pretty nuts.
Thoughts? Idk. Idk!

Basically my views on the Wii U. Nintendo cannibalized the Wii U's library to fill in the release lulls on the NS, and I imagine they will go back to doing it again with the remaining Wii U exclusives being ported to NS in 2019 since there's no major release in 2019 (Mario, Zelda, Smash or Pokemon) to keep a consistent library going and to dry out any remaining Wii U games on shelves (still see Mario Maker, Pikmin 3, and New Super Mario/Luigi Bros on shelves here and there).IMO no reason to own Wii U unless purchasing for cheap on Craig’s List or something (coming from someone who owns both Wii U and Switch). Nintendo has or will be porting most notable games released on the Wii U to the Nintendo Switch (the only Wii U exclusive games worth owning a Wii U for at this point are Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Paper Mario: Color Splash, Mario Party 10, Super Smash Brothers Wii U and Super Mario Maker but I would guess majority of these titles end up on the Switch at some point).
Worth noting that the Wii U Console/Games resale value are terrible which is not usual for Nintendo products. It’s almost like everyone wants to forget the Wii U ever existed (opinion which matches poor sales volume for the console).
Yeah, I missed out on that $100 Wii U during Black Friday. I'd be totally up for that particular bundle if I didn't pick up Mario 3D World and DK: Tropical Freeze already.Well after weeks of going back and forth, some of you sold me on it.
I mean $150 for a system Zelda, Mario and Donkey Kong?!
Also this deal is pretty fantastic tbh:

I have Bayonetta 1 for ps3, same with Arkham. It's worth it in my opinion. I've had one for years now and I have quite a few games on it.
Super Mario Maker, Breath of the Wild (went with it on the Wii U, since it seemed as if it was a bit more stable on there than on the Switch), Mario Kart 8, Super Mario 3d World, Xenoblade Chronicles X, NES Remix Pack (this game is pretty fun and funny at times), Nintendoland (this one honestly surprised me!), New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U, Smash Bros Wii U, LOZ: The Wind Waker, Bayonetta 1 and 2 and Batman Arkham Asylum: Armored Edtion.
I also have some games on it via the eshop. The library for it is pretty good.
Wow, that's a great price! I was thinking of getting one but decided to hold off. Since I actually had a Wii U, the NS' library is pretty thin in terms of games I haven't played (would really just be Sunshine, Splatoon 2, and Smash Ultimate) and there's a ton of talk about an improved version (better screen, better battery life, etc.) coming out. What Blade said. I think the only reason to buy a Wii U now is if you're gonna mod it. Many of the games worth owning on Switch are Wii U ports, and since the Switch is basically a Wii U 2.0 you'll just end up rebuying everything. Switches have been coming down in price anyway, I got one for $179 in November.
I would get Nintendoland if you can find it for $0.99 at GS. Some games are multiplayer only but some of the other games in single player mode. The Donkey Kong mine cart game is a lot of fun.I have Bayonetta 1 for ps3, same with Arkham.
Is nintendoland worth it without multiplayer?! I decided against smash and splatoon cause I’m not much of a multiplayer kinda guy.
Word. Yup can for sure find it at that price. Thx for the thoughtsI would get Nintendoland if you can find it for $0.99 at GS. Some games are multiplayer only but some of the other games in single player mode. The Donkey Kong mine cart game is a lot of fun.
I have a backup one just in case my kids break the one we're using. B2G1 pre-owned everything at gamestop could be your best bet if it comes back to their online store. Last year I bought 2 Wii u bundles and 1 new 3ds xl bundle, sold the games and one Wii u to keep a backup Wii u and new 3ds xl for cheap.I'm actually contemplating getting a second wiiU. My wiiU is hacked to play GC games, but kind of want to get a second one as back up and keep it stock.
How is the condition of their WiiUs? I was thinking on waiting for Nintendo to drop their price on their refurbished wiiU, I read they are practically brand new.I have a backup one just in case my kids break the one we're using. No issues with functionality, but it wasn't too clean. I cleaned off the gamepad and I'm good with it now.How is the condition of their WiiUs? I was thinking on waiting for Nintendo to drop their price on their refurbished wiiU, I read they are practically brand new.
Have you ever heard of videogame collecting? People collect unopened systems.Apparently these go for hundreds now on eBay unopened. IDK why anyone would care about getting this now and needing it to be new when used is $100 with games usually. Dreamcast was a far superior system and commands less of a price unopened.
Guessing we both saw the same article but as soon as I saw it, I knew it was just a dumbass writer... yes, there are consoles being listed for $800, but doesn't mean they sell for that much. Most eBay listing sell around $600 new, which is still a lot but not surprising. Some PS3 models sell for as much as that brand new, even though there were many more PS3s around.Apparently these go for hundreds now on eBay unopened.
