I want to pre-order wrestlemania yet I'm wondering if there is any site that has it for $50 or less with free overnight.

I've been hanging around ebgames.com and gamestop.com hoping to see a free overnight coupon yet so far no luck.

I want this pretty bad to, probably for the Live alone.
Smackdown's online was poorly structured, and I also want to be able to play in tag matchs or three way dances with my friends, so I'm looking forward to it.
Why buy wrestling games for 50 bucks when they drop to 2.99 after like 30 days?
because they don't. HCTP was 49.99 for nearly 12 months.

Just a troll...
ya im a troll because I always see wrestling games for cheap... :x
You see the 3+ year old games for cheap, yeah. The same as any other game.
It's not going to be THAT good.
that didnt stop me from buying raw 2 first day it came out...and i loved it..

and remember when it comes to wrestling games..i dont care it will be mine

Raw 1/2 both sucked. I bought raw 1 the first day and returned it.

Raw 2 was so glitchy I don't know how anyone could like it.

I feel like wrestlemania 21 is an update from the gamecube game with online play, that's enough to sell me for $50.

As for trading in, I'd rather pay full price then get an extra $1 off for trading in wcw/nwo world tour.

Depends on if you have the Thompson drive or not. The game is unplayable on Thompson drives due tho the bugs.

I hope you don't go in expecting a great game, it's by the guys who did Tao Feng.

I'd love a trade-in promotion on N64 games!

Saw some video previews for WM21. Not sure if it's gonna be a keeper, but considering I spent about $7 for it (thanks TRU!!!) in the EB trade in deal, I'm not gonna complain too hard, ya know?

XBOX Live play is what's selling it for me.

I'm still offering $20 shipped for anyone who gets it with credit from the TRU sale and does the 5-for-1 thing on it.

If you're gonna stick it to people you should at least offer a hand job and/or a ham sammich.

I figure that's pretty generous considering they spend $7 out of pocket at TRU.

Yeah but couldn't they just keep the whole thing for themselves? Why are they cutting you deals? Kindness?

God forbid. But next time I want your opinion on your stance on lowballing, i'll ask. Believe it or not, most people on this board are not greedy bastards.

And it worked? On mine, there were three issues when I had the Thompson drive that was specifically related to the drive: either the music cut off in the intro, it froze after a match, or it wouldn't boot up at all. THQ basically said "oh, sorry" when confronted. Maybe they released a fixed version, I bought mine the day it launched.

My Thompson drive has never failed me.... yet. I always hear bad things about it from everyone, but I have even put 50+ hours into Morrowind with no problems.

Oh, the problem here seems to come from the fact that I said "you" meaning Scorch, not the Universal "you" which means anyone reading it.

I'm asking why anybody would cut Scorch a deal. Most of your posts today have been unprevoked unfunny attacks on others so why would anyone take a hit in the wallet for Scorch? Still going to play the kindness angle?

I was joking around, but since you're going to be a dickhead..

The guys that get my "unprovoked, unfunny attacks" deserve them. My posts are more often than not taken out of context. Anyone that has done business with me know I help out a ton. It's not an "angle". I just helped out Shrike and OTM, I helped out video_gamer, and a ton of other people.

I tried trading in 5 games at EB, but they wouldn't take turok or Ridge Racing and one other I forget, so all sorts of exclusions apply for the trade in.

Yeah, I'm going to see what they will take in the morning to get this and StarFox. If it's a better deal to go with 2 for $10 bonus, I'll just do that though. Either way, this game is mine! I so need a good wrestling game. I haven't liked any since the N64. I hope that Tobias really comes through with No Mercy like gameplay (only better/updated, of course)...

Why don't they just take the N64 gameplay and put it on xbox with online play, better graphics and an updated roaster???

What is the wait for?

because it's not that easy. AKI owns the engine, and I think EA owns AKI. If THQ lost the WWE license and EA picked it up, they'd license AKI to do the engine.. and that'd be perfect. The closest thing you'll find to the No Mercy engine is Def Jam: FFNY, which is made by AKI, so it uses a decendant of the engine used on the N64.

Updated roaster? What do you think this is? This is the WWE, not Kenny Rogers'!

EA bought AKI?!? Where have I been? I guess that would explain why AKI is used for DJ. Is that why THQ stopped using it in the first place? I could see why EA would want it though... *thinks about WCW Mayhem, then curls up and dies...*

I THINK. Don't quote me on the whole EA-owning-AKI thing. They may just license them out to make DJ.

They only make wrestling games, so they probably just hired them to do DJ.

I hope so, because I would love for the Revolution (and even the GCN) to get the AKI engine back into their games...
