I made a post about this in the wrestling board, but it definitely warrants its own thread here - DOZENS of WWE DVDs are $4 and 9 at Wal-Mart locations nation-wide. The ones I saw at the Woodbridge, VA Wal-Mart last night were:
Road Warriors: the Life and Death of Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team
Rebellion '02 (Edge vs. Lesnar),
Unforgiven '02 (Benoit vs. Angle)
Brock Lesnar: Here Comes the Pain ($4)
Chris Benoit: Hard Knocks ($4!)
Rob Van Dam: One of a Kind ($4)
John Cena: Word Life (probably $4, and I'll buy it for the matches with Lesnar, Benoit, and Eddie that are on it)
No Way Out '06 (with Angle vs. Taker, which I'll buy Saturday)
Summerslam '05 (Eddie vs. Rey, Hogan vs. HBK, which I'll buy Saturday)
Vengeance '04 (Edge vs. Orton, which I already own)
Unforgiven '04 (HHH vs. Orton, which I have no major desire to own)
World's Greatest Wrestling Managers (this was $9, and has FUJI VICE... so I'll buy it Saturday)
Bad Blood '04 (HHH vs. HBK in a cell, I'll probably buy it Saturday)
Armageddon '05 (Kash vs. Juvi is excellent)
Backlash '04 (already own it, but it's got Orton vs. Foley and Benoit vs. HHH vs. HBK II, so BUY IT!)
No Mercy '04
No Mercy '05 (Eddie Guerrero's final PPV)
Survivor Series '05
No Way out '04 (Eddie Guerrero wins the WWE title)

Other deals that have been confirmed through photos, but that I haven't seen are:
Taboo Tuesday '04 for $4
Superstar Billy Graham: 20 Years Too Soon for $4
Million Dollar Tough Enough for $4
Before They Were Superstars for $4
The Stone Cold Truth
Taboo Tuesday '05
Backlash '06

I'm probably forgetting some that I saw, as there was just way too much to keep track of mentally, but this is easily the best wrestling DVD deal yet, so stock up on stuff you might've missed before while it's still readily available at Wal-Mart.

I don't recall seeing it on WWE's '07 DVD release list, but I hope you're right, as they've certainly got all the material needed for a classic Horsemen set.

"One of the first, and coolest, factions in sports-entertainment have been The Four Horsemen. This multi-disc release will cover the creation of the Horsemen, and is filled with exclusive interviews from many of the Superstars who were part of this groundbreaking group, as well as rivalry highlights and complete match."
Maybe ECW, but if WWE just bought the trademark of WCW, how would they have ended up with their back catalogue, yes they bought the trademark, but that was part of the whole package including wrestler contracts (and the reason why Sting wasnt seen for so long I assume, just waiting for his contract to run out so he never had to actually work for WWE)

See they WERE bought out, I did follow this story for months and was sad to see WCW go , even though I prefered it in the 80's when controlled by Crockett under the banner of NWA
Ok, all this discussion cannot go by without me pimping my book, The Death of WCW, available at finer bookstores everywhere. It has all the details of WCW's history as well as its demise.

You may now resume your cheap ass reading.

Went to another Wal-Mart and was shocked to actually find that they had this set up (but was even more shocked to see Robocop on XBox on display in the case for $49.99). Picked up Royal Rumble 04 ($4), No Way Out '04 ($4, where Eddie wins the strap from Brock) and RVD's set ($8). They had loooooots of Benoit, Cena and Billy Graham ones, as well as Before They Were Superstars.. will go back next week after I get paid.. maybe. Dunno. I kinda want Rumble '06 but it was $8.

I bought Rob Van Dam: One of a Kind and the Billy Graham Story.

The Rob Van Dam: One of a Kind DVD is $8.88. Not $3.88.

The Benoit, Brock, Rumble '04, Rumble '06, and Summerslam '05 deals are also on walmart.com. I'm checking the other ones as well.

Out of 6 walmarts only one had any of these...when I asked the others that didnt, they didnt know what i was talking about.

The majority of these dvds are online now. The list includes the majority of the 2004 ppvs (save for WM, Summerslam & Survivor Series of course) marked at $3.88 each, around half of the 2005 ppvs (including Eddie's final ppv marked at $8.88 each, and Summerslam) and a handful of 2006 ppvs, also $8.88. The RVD, Road Warriors, Managers, Cena and Stone Cold Truth dvds are also on there at this time and I believe each was $8.88. They also had the Tough Enough, Before they were Stars 2, and Rebellion dvds, each for $3.88. I could not, however, find the Benoit, Billy Graham or Brock Lesnar dvds. With tax & shipping they come out to about $5 for the $3.88 ones and $10 for the $8.88 ones.

I hope this helps out anyone who has had trouble finding these in stores.

I also came across the Royal Rumble box set, marked at $150 and scheduled for a March 13th release. The set was divided into 4 volumes like the WM Anthology, so hopefully they are released as 4 separate volumes as well.

I was going to go back to get a couple more, but they were sold out... and I saw - around - 50 DVDs two days earlier.

I guess an eBay hoarder picked them all up.
