X-Men 3: The Last Stand Update Thread

The dialogue wasn't that bad. And come on...Mother fucking Fastball Special is in the movie. That's the first awesome news I've heard about this movie ;)

The one thing I ahet is no Nightcrawler. That just makes me mad beacuase he could be one of your greatest fighters if you use him right.

EWWWWWWWWW.

The whole scene looke so...douche like. Bleck.

C-Loss looked pretty.........un-good in that scene.

He looked like Kevin Bacon for hollow man for some reason.

that clip sucked.

not shaping up too well, bet it's being made for the DVD boxed set market anyway.

[goes back to playing X-Men Legends]
You guys do realize that scene was taking place in the danger room right? Which could explain the cheesiness...
that explains it!! ALL Uwe Boll movies take place in the danger room.......

The whole scene is a nod to the comic book fans from the fastball special to the sentinel itself. It takes place in the danger room which explains Wolverine's passe attitude. Its not real so anything that happens is going to seem campy and cheesy. Average fans who don't read the comics won't get the scene by seeing it like that.

which explains my hearty unread collection of uncanny x-men and x-factor in my garage.

Fox will be airing a 7-minute preview of X-Men: The Last Stand this Thursday, May 11 from 8:30-8:37pm ET/PT! The preview airs right before the series finale of That '70s Show.

While this news may be old, I have not yet seen it posted; and thought that fellow CAGs may appreciate it.

Hmmm, Yeah, I just saw that same commercial and had heard about it before, but I honestly don't like That 70's Show that well to watch it specifically for the trailer. Especially since Youtube'll have it an hour or two after it airs.

You don't have to watch That 70's Show to see it. Just tune in to Fox at 8:30 and it'll be on.

It's not before the series finale of That 70's Show, just the behind the scenes special.

The seven-minute preview of 20th Century Fox's X-Men: The Last Stand, airing on Fox tonight (Thursday, May 11, 8:30-8:37 PM ET/PT), will come online at midnight EST exclusively at Dell.com/X-Men!

Hot damn. I have to say, that 7 minute preview really impressed me. Seriously makes me wonder if this may actually turn out alright.
Mags speech was absolutely awesome. Plus Pyro's gloves. And hearing Psylocke. And Kitty phasing through the floor to take out Jugs. Seriously awesome stuff.

Yep, and Kelsey Grammar was brilliant as beast.

The only thing that irked me was his attitude toward Wolverine. Beast is one of those people who NEVER loses their cool and it just felt out of place.

Yeah. When he was like "I've been fighting for mutant rights long before you had those claws boy" I was sitting there like "Ummm...Bet ya you're wrong Beast!" It really did feel out of place that he was losing his cool like that.
is the 7 min preview posted any place ?
Here

Not bad. The only thing that was annoying was the constant music in the back ground. I hope that was just for the preview and not in the actual film. Some of it felt like it was edited and parts removed.... Im not sure if it was the first 7 or just 7 random minutes... Im assuming just random 7... I dunno I still have a little hope for this

Yes quite indeed. I have to go against those nay sayers that wrote off the movie because they saw what jugs looked like. And just as the Wii name has grown on me, and I don't mind saying it anymore, jugs has too. THis 7 minute trailer was phenomanal. Really grew the anticipation in me and now I really want to see the film. Everything about this trialer was spectacular. Kelsey Grammer as Beast was perfect. That one scene with Angel blew my mind away. Really great stuff. Beast is usually far more calm, cool, collected and composed of himself, but he has also been known to snap at people at times. But that part of the trailer did seem a bit out of place. Usually he is much more relaxed when he snaps at people and far more witty. I hope that this aspect of Beast was not lost in the movie.

I'd hope it's seven random minutes, cause otherwise this may be the quickest movie ever, since Mags is ripping apart the Golden Gate Bridge in the first seven minutes ;).

it's kind of funny spotting locations you recognize...i walk by the the tall glass building that angel jumps out of in the movie everyday on my way to school. i think they also used the church across the street from it for the scene where magneto gives his speech.

looks like ratner may have actually made a decent movie. i still don't like the rumors i heard earlier, but then again, i didn't like spider-man at first because of the way they blended the gwen stacy and mary jane stories. maybe i'll check it out.
Anyone who remembers this thread will be horrified when they watch this clip.
AHHHHHH GOD....This fucking movie is garbage. This movie will literally have to come out of the screen and gently stroke my manstick in order for me to not loathe it.

It rare that i go in hating a movie but this its just getting to out of hand. Christ....they call that juggs? Why the hell does he have that god damn accent? What the fuck his he wearing? Christ where is a baby...i need to punch one.

Its not that they are fucking up my fav badass bad guy of all time but the whole movie just seems reaks of cheese.

I am trying not to judge it before i see it but everything i read on this movie makes me hate it more and more, i am going stop even looking at anything until after it comes out.

Just as a after thought that Juggernaut bitch is among my top 3 internet vids of all time.....its still funny to this day.

I know this is going to seem kinda incredulous and everything, but why don't you NOT go see the movie then? I seem to get a feeling that you dislike the movie and all, but if you go and see the movie, you're supporting something you dislike.

Yeah, or wait for the DVD. Shiiiit.

I like the punch babies comment though.

 And it all turns around, just like that...

For the record, if Kitty had done that in the comic, Juggernaut would be dead.

Yeah, that 7-minute preview made it look okay, but there was also glimpses of horrible direct-to-video quality cheese in there. I still don't know about this one, guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I dont really see it has supporting them or i see it as supporting the industary that i love which ever one of those make more sense. :D

Soodmeg your a classy Gent.

For anyone who is keeping score:
ComingSoon.net reports that the MPAA has rated X-Men: The Last Stand PG-13 for intense sequences of action violence, some sexual content and language.

Pg-13, No suprises there.... An R would of been cool though...
