Yup, you can buy the digital upgrade next year for $14.99.

But, If you buy the retail disc version for $39.99, you will get all the old costumes with it.

The Ultra and Super packs are different sets of costumes. Too much money, I'll wait for the disc version next year.

Does anybody have any thoughts on the Lost Planet 2 DLC that is currently on sale in the Capcom Publisher Sale?  I decided to bite on the $4.99 Games on Demand version of Lost Planet 2, but was curious whether the DLC is worth purchasing as well.  Thank you in advance.

If it's multi-player stuff I'd suggest the only people left playing it will be pretty hardcore and it won't be much fun playing against them.

 
That Ninja Bee bundle seems awfully high. Not compared to the regular prices I guess but all of those games have been on sale cheap. Hell wasn't Outpost Kaloki an XBLA launch title?

  I can't decide whether to get the GoD Street Fighter Arcade Edition or a used Tekken Tag 2. Any last minute input?

Really depends on which one you like better. They are two completely different fighting games. I personally love SSF4:AE because I'm a Street Fighter fan. Tekken Tag 2 isn't a bad game, it's just not my style. I played it for a couple hours and couldn't get into it. From watching EVO finals, it looks like it has a much bigger focus on combos than SSF4:AE.

SSF4:AE also has a big update coming out early next year for $15 if you already own SSF4:AE. I think it will be $40 for the disc copy if you don't have SSF4:AE. The disc also includes all the costumes. I'm not sure if TT2 has anymore updates planned.

It was a launch title or very close to it since it came out in 2005. It's even on the Arcade Unplugged disc with a bunch of other games. You can probably get it used on ebay or amazon for $2-4.

Ah, thank you for that bit of info, as I've been out of the loop on gaming news. So I'll wait til' next year to play with all the costumes on disc. I bought some of them like a fool ( waves finger at Capcom) fool me once, shame on you. lol

I think I might go ahead and get Ultimate MVC 3, I've waited so long and I don't think I'll find it cheaper. Now my question is should I get DMC 4 since it's cheaper than anywhere I've seen or not? Hmmm..... :whistle2:k

 
Why did Asura's Wrath go back up already? I seriously just bought MS points to buy it and in that time it went from $10 to $30.

Sometimes I think a game hits its sales quota, then goes back up automatically. This happened with some Dance Central DLC during its last sale.

why do they even bother with shit like lowering nba 2k10 from $30 to $20...thanks m$. mean while i'm debating getting 2k13 for $4.50 on pc.

also if you call them and complain they may work something out with you to get that game for $10, just depends how knowledgeable the person you get on the line is

Terrible sale. Ubisoft is slipping with 2 weeks of so-so sales. To be clear HAWX, GRAW, Endwar, Rainbow Six and Double Agent should all be $5 tops and not $10. You could do better at a pawnshop or at a GS and none of these are good enough to deserve living on your hard drive. Seriously, you can find copies of these games for as little as $3 without breaking a sweat so just skip them digitally.

Even Splinter Cell Conviction, arguably one of my favorite current gen stealth/action games isn't worth $15 as I know you can probably easily find a physical copy for $10. I will say that the Deniable Ops DLC is worth it though if you like the game. I bought it at 400 pts way back when and never regretted the purchase. Great level designs. But it's only for people who like Convinction enough to want more of it. For some people it was a bit of a negative shift from the XBOX's Splinter Cell games or from Double Agent, as with all changes, people felt that it was a bit dumbed down, but I liked the move to the new game design although in saying that I didn't play a lot of the earlier Sam Fisher games.

Not even slightly tempted by anything from the Clancy sale, which works for me since I've spent an asinine amount of points this month as is and I look forward to nothing, but meh or just purely DLC sales when Summer of Arcade starts next month.

So I'm talking to a Microsoft employee online and he says that there might a problem with the Asura's Wrath not being $9.99 anymore because my Xbox updated because I'm in the beta version:

Since this is a beta program, we, support agents may still not have the direct fix for the bugs and emerging issues. I don't know I just can't get into these Tom Clancy games. I thought the original Splinter Cell was okay, but I can't seem to find a game I like. They feel ... ordinary? generic?

I think there was one Tom Clancy FPS I liked, but I don't know even know what it was called and it was back on the PS2.

I'm okay with that as long as you admit that The Division looks pretty spectacular. Then we can still be friends. But it also appears to be the least Tom Clancy-ish Tom Clancy game ever.

 
I almost forgot to ask, but does anyone know if all the lost planet dlc that's on sale is online only or can they be played offline? Thanks in advance.

Stupid question I'm sure has been asked over and over again, so please excuse the stupidity: I know the OP says the Capcom Arcade Cabinet base is required to play the all-in-one pack, but do we have to buy it or just download the demo for it and the all-in-one does the rest? Seems pretty ridiculous to make you buy the base game if there is an "all-in-one" pack.

I got the all-in-one pack then downloaded the demo for the base game and it didn't unlock anything. Just wanting to make sure that I need to buy the base game or if something went wrong.

You have to buy it.  It really isn't that bad of a setup (the Capcom Arcade Cabinet is the base game and the All-in-One pack is DLC), I just think the name "all-in-one" pack is extremely misleading since it's not everything the game offers.  The first 3 games are tied to that cabinet pack.

Yeah, and despite the misleading name, you're not really getting screwed. $30 is full price for the game on both XBLA and PSN, so you're still getting the game for 50% off. Just in a kind of weird way.

Yea it's no biggie. Especially considering I spent more than $15 picking up a couple of the NES versions of the games included in the bundle.

Yeah same here. When you click on the link that says last day to save on Capcom games, it shows that AW should be 75% off but when you select it, it's going for $39.99. I waited to today to try and buy it but seems like it may be too late.

 
Really disappointed by the Clancy sale. I wouldn't pay that much for any of those games at this point. I need my $5 GoD fix!

The Clancy sale seems to be live now so I guess they killed the Capcom sale early. I was looking to grab Asura's Wrath just now too. In the event that it comes back again on sale, can someone post about it?
 
really disappointing Tom Clancy sale. Was going to get hawk2 and Vegas2 for $5-10. Even hawx1 is 15... It was $5 a few months back. Wtf is up with this giant font that won't change...

 
sad that asura's wrath went back to normal price, especially since all the other Capcom games are still discounted. I would say they reached their quota of sales for the game and changed the price. I really need to stop talking myself into buying games, thus waiting until the last possible day to purchase.
 
Wow that Tom Clancy sale is absolutely terrible. Are they even trying? Everything should be $5 at most, with the exception of maybe the latest Ghost Recon, which should be $10. I hope nothing sells. People need to send the message to MS and Ubisoft.
