It's not as bad as cheapo ATT who in my area caps you at 250 on uverse or 150 on DSL.

 
After the xbox live debacle last night, I woke up this morning to have my phone and internet down. When I called ATT I was told that they couldn't even access their own system. Makes me wonder if someone hit them too.

It may be unrelated, but I just tried to buy the Xbox 360 Titanfall Season Pass and my account has been locked down. I'm chatting with support right now. Information may have been stolen, or things may have been tried to be purchased. The credit card I have on my account is out of date, so if people tried to buy anything with my account it would have caused an issue.

I'll post later and let people know what happened with support.

How long has the card been expired? They might require an active card on your account (maybe if you auto renew?) and that could be causing the lockdown. I remember trying to remove all the cards on my account a few years ago, but the billing site wouldn't let me.

 
Trying to decide if I should just keep my Unity code.  Prices have tanked on Ebay and I do like the AC series but I hate having a digital only copy of a game I will playthrough once and then never touch again. Some free DLC is nice I guess.  Going to sell the Black Flag code since I played it already.

 
Maybe you should check the bill again. ATT only charges for DSL, not Uverse. I have gone over the cap 4 months in a row now and nothing has happened. I have had Uverse since 2009 and have never been billed for going over the cap.

It's not my bill it was my sisters, and it prompted her to change ISPs. I don't have uverse, sadly I have dsl, and have never exceeded the cap, as they only recently ran the fiber optic lines here. Though I will not be going with ATT regardless if I do upgrade because for the past year I've had nothing but issues with them and horrible customer service. Heck, a couple of months ago they even cut off my service for a day claiming I hadn't paid my TV bill, a service I don't even have through them. It took me 4 hours just to talk to a person that would actually confirm I didn't have the service to begin with.

It was on her second bill as a uverse customer as she had switched to them from comcast.

My only options here are Charter or AT&T. I don't know if charter has caps or not as I've not looked into changing much yet.

^^^ I have Charter and while I've had plenty of customer service issues with them, they do not have caps --.at least none that I know of.

More than likely it's a soft cap like Comcast where nothing will happen the first couple times but if you continually exceed it they'll throttle and eventually disable your internet service.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) that wasn't the issue. I have auto renewal set to off, and only use Live Cards; I'm fine until March. Support was very coy about the whole thing, actually. They told me there were some 'issues' happening to Xbox Live last night, but that I should be okay. Nothing seems to have been stolen, and basically nothing needed to be done.

I would suggest that everyone check their accounts and attempt to try to download something to see if it triggers a similar lockdown of their account.

Unfortunately, while I did actually buy the Season Pass for $6.24, their security setup refunded my account the purchase (something I didn't know Live could do, since it always says there are no refunds). When I asked about the Season Pass they told me to rebuy it, but it was now $24.99. I asked about the previous price and they said there was nothing they could do about the pricing. It's my fault for waiting, but I've been waiting on my Xbox Rewards Credits to clear, and didn't want to spend my actual cash when I'm owed Microsoft Dollars.

Anyway, thank you annoying hackers for being dicks and somehow making me more appreciative of corporations and less appreciative of bitter nerds.

It has Pacman Battle Royal plus a bunch of other pacman games. Pacman Battle Royal is a blast to play with friends/family and is not available in any other pacman collection as far as I know. If you don't own a classic pacman collection and have not purchased most of the pacman arcade games on XBox live already, then it is a great value on sale in my opinion.

Thanks, I'm thinking about getting this, especially since I got the Ms. Pac Man DLC for free quite a while back, but I've never had the game.

Worms is awesome as a free title. Easily the best offering yet IMO. I don't expect them to drop retail games on us yet, especially with EA Access providing us with multiple titles.
 
So if I buy the season pass for the Telltale Game of Thrones game, I still need to buy episode 1 separately, correct?

Looks like the season pass is good for episodes 2-6.
 
I prefer digital only games as GWG. I can rent retail games whenever. Maybe a long RPG like Dragon Age would work though because it probably takes longer than a weekend to finish.

I think Worms is going to be better than SSX. Haven't played either yet, so I'll find out at the end of the month.

Yep. Looks like X1 version is cheaper than Steam by $5 again. Think they did the same with TWAU.

 
FWIW I'm a big Game of Thrones fan having read the books before the show existed and all. The Telltale game episode 1 did not disappoint in the least. I give it a grumpy old man approval.

I don't know if I should buy it or not. At least with TWD, I had watched the show a bit and TWAU was a surprise hit for me but I know absolutely NOTHING about GoT. I haven't watched nor read any of the books. Is it worth a trial to see how it is?

 
So I just bought a X1 last week and the Mic already stopped working.I can hear my friends but they can't hear me.I contacted Microsoft and they were no help at all.They told me to contact the store where I bought it.

Have you tried holding down the power button until the Xbox turns off? That usually fixes everything.

Probably not. It plays as though you know what's going on in the GoT timeline.
