Please note:

 • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
 • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
 • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
 • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
 • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
 • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

Ha!! Ive been gaming for about 30 years now.

The raven is the first game I have ever fell asleep on while sitting and playing it.
The game is that good? I thought it was going to be bad.

EDIT: First episode of TWD S2 has more feels that entire season 1. They should've made the kid the main character of S1 instead of barely being in the game.

I just played season's 2 episode 3 some minutes ago. Clem is doing better than I expected, but I do prefer playing as Lee (yeah, the feel is quite different). Either way, best Telltale series, imo.
So, I spent most of my time yesterday on the new Xbox One F2P Japanese MMORPG: Onigiri. You can find it for free on the Japanese marketplace, and given the console's region free nature, it will run with no issues on any account (though Gold is clearly required being this an online game). I've made a little hightlight reel of my first day of gameplay, this is more or less what you'll be encountering in the first hours:

https://account.xbox.com/en-us/gameclip/5cbd5f57-90c3-4173-abe8-b645ee8a357e?gamerTag=baboy1337&scid=03a80100-9ff3-46ea-be76-e00e7fe465df

Yes, the game kinda looks like a PS2 launch title, and yes, it's all in Japanese, so understanding some of the quests and items might be hard. But is the game fun? Yes, it is. While many things are pretty basic and standard for MMORPGs, I must note the fairly original art style at parts, especially when it comes to the enemies. The character creation is solid, and I like the real time combat method, much more fun than the usual "click on enemy so the character fights for you" approach. There aren't many players right now, especially besides Japanese people, so if you like what you saw and/or enjoyed trying the game, feel free to add me, the gamertag is the same as my username on CAG.

P.S.: And if all that doesn't sell you, this is one of the achievements' pictures you can unlock early on, and as such, use as your background on the Xbox One dashboard:
Cant we just make a Japanese account, download the game, and play on the main account? Also, dont you only need ONE Gold account on the box?

Also. Graphically looks like shit, but could be fun.

So I switched my region to Japan to download OniGirl.

In my games and apps it shows regionalized versions of some of my already installed games as available to install. Including two that I downloaded as ea access trials.

Does anyone know if those would download as the full game or just another 6 hour trial?

P.S.: And if all that doesn't sell you, this is one of the achievements' pictures you can unlock early on, and as such, use as your background on the Xbox One dashboard:

You fool, now we can all save that image to usb and set it as our background without buying the game.

Geometry Wars 3 is fun but hard as shit. Some of the achievements are gonna be next to impossible for me, like beating outrageous dev high scores on some levels. You have to have the instincts of a nerd god to master this game.

You Fool its a free game...
Fellas, fellas... Let's all calm down and agree that the image would be better if it was animated with more, uh, bounciness.

Seriously, the first game to have an animated, suggestive achievement will sell very well.

Agreed. I only briefly played it so far but I must have tried the first boss a dozen times before finally beating him. Hell, I'm not used to such hard games anymore! But it's fun and looks amazing, will definitely spend more time with it as soon as I can get off Onigiri...

Oh, Threes is out and only has achievements ending by 3, 6, and 9. If you don't plan on 1000ing it and you're annoyed by uneven numbers, beware.

Why the hell they haven't quit that practice
I actually don't mind, if not else since it can have funny results. I recently had 77777 as gamerscore, even took a photo of it. I am currently having one ending with 8 I think, damn Onigiri with its 1G cheevos. If a Threes achievement gets me back on track, so be it.

Damn, guys, Steet Fighter V only on PS4 and PC. Now I see even more improbable to upgrade to a Xbone. At least I'm very happy with my 360, and won't get a new system any time soon.

edit: also, my gamerscore use to end in 9 or 4. I don't mind a 9 number (I think it's due to Trouble Witches Neo).

That's what I've been doing before even starting the game. No spoilers for me! I'm two episodes in to season 4, so I'm almost there.
But Spooge! Telltale's GoT happens right after the conclusion of season 3, I heard.

I'm gonna have some Onigiri news for you in a day or two. You will find it interesting. That's in addition to a full preview.

Looking forward to that! I am at level 28 and this game is still pretty fun, although it is getting more and more difficult to get rid of items to make space in my inventory - since, y'know, I don't understand their Japanese description.

Is there some kind of unofficial rule now that that picture has to be quoted again on each new page of the thread? Because if so... carry on.

I might put it as my signature.

In an unrelated news, I've been talking about the achievements for Threes earlier. There is one (giving an impressive 199G) for playing the game in Snap mode - yes, you can play Threes while another game, movie, etc. is going. That is awesome, and imho reason enough to buy, considering that AFAIK no other game can be snapped like that.

Nutjitsu can also be snapped, but I don't think it's actually playable while snapped.

I was planning on waiting for Super Street Fighter V anyways.
Bingo. Done getting in on the ground floor for Capcom fighters. Super Turbo Whatever edition will be out within a year of it and cost half as much. Seems an unusual choice as an exclusive for Sony to buy. Because while a likely "Complete Edition" will probably hit down the road for Tomb Raider, Capcom's standard operating procedure it to iterate several times, there is no "probably".

Yeah, I'm thinking that either it's a timed exclusive, or the exclusivity is for Vanilla SF5 and SF5 Turbo will be multiplat. Still stings though. Maybe Lara Croft can be an Xbone exclusive character.

This is the first Street Fighter game ever I will skip unless this ends up being amazing. I can't deal with another 5 years of mediocrity.
Just wait for the inevitable Ultimate Super Hyper Turbo Maximum Yoloswag Street Fighter V Extreme Ultimate Limited 420 Edition on all consoles.

Neogaf saying that its permanent console exclusive to PS4, and what's worst is that this deal is similar to Dead Rising 3.

If Capcom needs effin help to make the next STREET FIGHTER game, this company is in serious doo doo.

Neogaf is a bunch of Sony dicksuckers though. They love getting bukakked by their Japanese overlords. Its just nothing but Sonytard wishful thinking. Sony is broke as SHIT and can't afford to secure exclusivity permanently.

Why do you say they are broke? Seems Sony's doing pretty well lately.
PlayStation division is doing spectacular, thanks for the PS4.

Other divisions of the company, however, are doing poor. Sony is gutting their TV line presence to a minimum, rather than try to compete on price. (Vizio and the new Chinese companies are eating up the TV profit margins of the big guys.)

Ah, thanks for the answer, didn't know about that. I guide myself for their stock's price, which almost tripled it's price since 2012's end.

So basically the inverse of MS.

I don't know about that, the 60" Sony deal for $650 before Thanksgiving pretty much blew away every other Black Friday TV deal. I have one of them in my den now. :)

Yeah, getting the straight deal on a Sony vs. MS thing on NeoGAF is futile. However, I could very easily see them making Street Fighter 5 a permanent exclusive, and the inevitable Super Turbo edition multi-console (that's what they did for the SNES/Genesis with a minor name change). That is, if the game is received well - if they drop another SF vs. Tekken and there is a collective "meh", then it might not go anywhere (in which case, have fun with your exclusive turd, Sony). I would be fairly certain though it will be good enough to merit a Super Turbo edition with 6-10 new fighters and tweaks.

Tekken x Street Fighter will probably come out after 5. Although I wish another Street Fighter x Tekken would be made or at least the first ported to X1. I'm fine with KI for now, but next year or 2 I might be craving a new fighting game. Depends on if KI can keep staying fresh. They mentioned some season 3 stuff that could keep me playing forever, like teams.

Edit: Omega mode is rumored to come out within the next 2 weeks. Aka "SFV Beta". I'm looking forward to that. Still surprised Capcom hasn't brought 4 to current Gen consoles.

Remember that DoA 5: Milk this Shit to Death Edition is coming to ps4/xbo

Like I'm going to trust the Chinese to not put lead in something they make.

This really. I own a PS4, but knowing how much they milked SFIV It's inconceivable that there will NOT be another version, and I seriously doubt those versions stay exclusive to the PS4.
I'm just going to wait till the Super Street Fighter V: Turbo Super Duper Fighting Man Arcade ex version to come out.

I just bought Street Fighter IV: Ultra! I'm not in the mood to buy another game even if i'm a huge fighting game fan.

SFV will be out on the X1. EVENTUALLY. Its just dumb for Crapcom not to. They've been losing money for YEARS now and making their largest franchise a one console exclusive wouldn't be beneficial. They need all the money they can get.

Also, either way. I'll enjoy KI and MKX more.
