Mass Effect 2 stripped out a lot of the RPG mechanics, but ME3 put them back in an even better form than the first game. I still think Mass Effect has one of the most epic storylines of any RPG ever, so I encourage you to try it. But everyone's taste is different. Of the three games, I rank them this way:

Story: ME1 > ME3 > ME2

Mechanics: ME3 > ME1 > ME2

However some people like ME2 more than I did.

I've gotten the first achievement in mass effect 1, haven't been able to get into it yet. Trying to play them in order. Bought the trilogy from Hastings for $20 a couple years ago

So is Titanfall for 360 worth it at that price andd which is better

Kingdom of Amalur or Crysis

I know they both completely different genres but jus overall which one you think is better

Damn Ghostbusters never been on sale right? that would be a must for 3.99

Amalur is a great game if you are in to ridiculously large open world fantasy RPGs like Skyrim. Crysis 1 was a fun, strategic shooter in a jungle, Crysis 2 was too, but in more of a sci-fi dystopian city, Crysis 3 pretty much sucks. I was really looking forward to Crysis 3 but can not force myself to finish it.

I think it's worth it for titanfall, it's pretty addictive but does get old fast (faster than the bigger FPS like duty, halo or bf) but it is a fun game.

yea there was so much hype behind crysis 3, looked amazing, like it was getting back to it's original roots and set new FPS standards but I couldn't force myself to finish the third, got about half way threw it.

Is anyone having problems purchasing stuff from the 360 Marketplace? I added a demo from the website a while ago (it was on my DL history), but I went just went on to download another demo and purchase ME 3's Leviathan when it said my account has been locked from making purchases. The demo's downloading fine, it just won't let me add anything new.

I finished crysis3 and the most fun part for me was hearing maximum armor or cloak engaged whenever I toggled the suit modes.

My two cents: the Mass Effect series is one of the best I've ever played. If you're a gamer that likes Fallout, Kotor, or even mmorpgs, I think you do yourself a disservice by avoiding this game.

Me and a friend had some issues yesterday, all we had to do was clear out the system cache under the settings and it fixed itself.

Somewhat OT - the new Trials Fusion DLC was mentioned a few pages back - has anyone else had any trouble downloading it for free with the Season Pass?  I have the Season Pass installed, as well as the prior content packs - but Fire in the Deep comes up $4.99.  I've even tried re-installing the Season Pass.  Any ideas?

I don't have the game, but I'm assuming it works like most season pass enabled games: Did you try and buy the DLC from in-game or was it from the marketplace?

It specifically mentions COD, but I would suspect there's more going on if the status is "limited" enough to warrant posting about.
 
Meanwhile, I still can't purchase ANOTHER WORLD / OUT OF THIS WORLD from Smartglass or Xbox.com since it thinks my billing info isn't on my profile, but if I click to add it it's already pre-filled for me. Oye vey.

I hope, but I doubt it. Sometimes the sales cross over on MS and Sony's end, but sometimes they don't. And if they do, a few times there is a big price difference. Guacamelee was 50% off for like $7.50 on 360 this month I believe, but on PS3 it was discounted to $3.99. Huge difference IMO.

I would love to see Rage dlc and even Fallout New Vegas dlc.......Can't you install the dlc from the New Vegas GOTY version onto your HDD?

In for Dragon Age 1 dlc. Gonna demo NFL Blitz but from what I remember last time, the fun was kinda sapped out of it due to no late hits after the whistle. WTF Goodell?!?!

 
Another World was bought last night....played it around 9pm tonight, beat it at 11pm. 100% achievement completion. That shit should be $1.99. Even at $4 I feel like I got cheated a little. Only had to use a guide for two parts: the cavern and towards the very end. The rest was pretty much childs play.

I read on the RedLynx forum that it is a known issue and they are working with Microsoft trying to get it fixed.
 
I'm sticking with Gears of Wars 2 and Catherine as my predictions for February's GWG.

Of course I would be happier if they were games I didn't already own.

 
#IDARB is good, but only has couch to couch for the online multiplayer. So if you only have 1 controller, you only can play 1v1 matches. It also has a single player campaign that puts you on a team, but having real teammates is way more fun.
 
GwG will be Max Payne 3 or GTA IV or any other Rockstar title they milked dry with sale after sale after sale.  If not next month than some time this year.

I'm always amazed how people bitch about free games.   It's free, regardless of your opinion on it.  If you don't like it, don't download it.

 
For real. It'd be nice if we could get a AAA title but the One is barely a year old. MS just started giving out free games on the 360 in late 2013! I'm OK getting these little indie games. Eventually when the Ones install base is a little higher I'm sure we'll see more high profile games for GWG.

But I get the feeling it'll be something good like Ryse or Dead Rising 3 and people will find something to bitch about. "Thanks for the free shitty LAUNCH titles, M$!! Guess its too much to ask for something from this year, huh assholes?"
 
I actually prefer Arcade games over retail games. Often times Microsoft values them similarly, but Arcade games take up less hard drive space. Plus if I really want retail games, I can get them, you know, at retail.

Me too on both points. Next month is like this month for me with GwG: I had Witcher 2 on PC from GoG for free, and next month I haave Sniper V2 on PC, by the way of the dev giving it for free.
