Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

It is a great buy indeed. I bought it during the holidays when it was around $20 and it was a great deal even at that, and I've sunk so many hours into it. I've said it then and I'l say it again now: there will be no more NCAA games, so 14 is the last, and it's a very good game. I fully expect disc versions will retain value so you won't be able to go to GameStop and not get horribly gouged for it. And I love having it digitally and not having to swap a disc in and out. AFAIK, folks are still updating rosters and making them available for the new season too.

And FWIW, NCAA > Madden and has been for a number of years. If you play NCAA, then go play Madden, you can't help but notice how much better NCAA plays and feels. And of course more variety of plays/formations, and running the option makes NCAA superior as well.

The rest of the sale is meh unfortunately.
One thing to note is that NCAA Ultimate Team is no longer being supported. At least last time I checked. Not sure if they planned on fixing it at some point but it was down for a long while.

They better fix this before the sale is over, I've been waiting for a good price on this game for ages >.<
10 months is ages?
8 months is technically ages(released January 14th/15th). And good price means not the 30% off discount in April nor the 50% discount in July. Unless he means the Vita version which came out in 2012.........

In all seriousness, 75% off is just the right CAG price IMO. And it does somewhat feel like ages waiting for it to hit that price if you take into account others on this forum talking about the game during release date, first discount, second discount and now the third. Hell, it HAS been ages when you think an AssCreed game hasn't come out since Liberation released. You all know Ubisoft is pumping this franchise dry till the cows are dead

In regards to getting 1,000 rewards points for playing a GWG title for 10 hours or more... i can confirm, that if you already own the game that's gold (in my case Halo Reach, that i already own DIGITALLY) for 10 hours DURING the 14 days that its free, DOES NOT give you the 1000 rewards points. (Ive heard that if you delete said free GWG, and re-download it during its free period, that you may get the points after 10 hours of play, but ive yet to test this theory, and honestly don't care enough to try). So, if you own a GWG digitally already and play it during the 14 day period for 10 hours, your SOL.

Has anyone tried to cancel EA Access yet? I just tried to and received the error "An error occured cancelling automatic renewal.

Do I have to call Microsoft to get this sorted out?

I just tried and got the same error. I logged off and logged back in and it worked that time.

Thanks for your input sweatysides. I do still believe it's attainable. Mainly because downloading the game during the free period is a mandatory requirement according to rewards faq. Maybe that's how the system recognizes you are a candidate for the 1000 credits, i don't know. Playing a little devil's advocate here

Glad I checked this thread. I almost missed getting Halo Reach. Of course I find out it's free 2 weeks after winning a copy in a lowball  :-({|=

I turned off automatic renewal from Xbox.com with no problems the weekend that it came out. You should call if it won't let you.

I think that's what he tried because I got the same error on Xbox.com. It's stupid you have to cancel the monthly to switch to the annual plan.

The Adachi and Marie DLCs for Ultimax are supposed to be free this week. I don't see the Adachi DLC at all.

Edit: There he is now.  It looks like the store was updated again.

Hmmm looks like the GoD AssCreed games are all $4.97 AUD here in Australia (I already own AssCreed 3 GoD so I can't be sure of that but Brotherhood and Revelations are showing up at that price) and the rest of the Ubisoft GoD (other than Stick of Truth) are showing up for under $4 AUD - usually we get smashed with games being more here so that's a nice surprise especially as that deal on Syndicate wasn't available here due to the game being banned from Australia during the previous game ratings era. Thankfully the Aussie price on Fuse made me decide not to buy it. I might have grabbed it for $6 but at $11 I decided to pass.

I just picked up Far Cry Classic at $2.5 you can't go wrong and grabbed Rainbow Six 2 as I don't know where my disc copy went. I'm still having issues buying Liberation HD as it shows up at full price when the pay window pops up. I'm sure that'll change within the next 24 hours and I'll grab that too.

I bit on all the ME3 DLC that I didn't have prior to that sale ending.

Is anyone else getting to a point in their Xbox 360 lives when they can't quite think of any games they want that they don't already own?

I am. There were games I wanted, but 360 feels so crappy to play now. I'd be happy if I could get through half of my backlog before never playing it again.

I don't see why its crappy, I got tired of being burned on new consoles getting them early release, will wait for a colored one, I will probably buy a game for the new console if its going to be hard to get, but that's its, I got a backlog too plus I am getting the blue 360 next week to replace the original model and continue to play between the old consoles, except for the wii u (almost never play) and the vita both which I got for free, not even bothered with not getting on the new consoles

Yeah I'm of the same mind. I don't think the graphical upgrade, which to be honest is minimal between the 360/X1 versus the Xbox/360, is enough to draw me into buying a new console just yet especially when most of the games I'm interested in (Titanfall, Destiny, The Crew, Watch Dogs, MGS: The Phantom Pain, DA: Inquisition, Far Cry 4, Alien Isolation and Shadow of Mordor for example) are available or will be available in serviceable versions on the previous Gen. Gameplay-wise the new generation hasn't really changed how we play games especially considering that Kinect 2.0 is pretty much officially dead so any hopes of any massive changes to gameplay will have to wait until we see what happens with Project Morpheus and whatever the MS version of that comes to pass. The only next-Gen games I'm really excited for at the moment are Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3 but considering that they're both single player experiences and I still need to beat both Arkham Origins and The Witcher 2 I won't be too concerned if I get to it a few years down the road.

There is more to gaming than graphics, like ram, and processor speed. I am looking forward to Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5, and Quantum Break to name a few.

Once you play current gen, you'll see the problem with 360. Way too slow to navigate dashboard, Kinect 1.0 is nearly useless, slow to start games, slow to switch games, slow to startup, everything slow, etc. That's just the dashboard part of it. Games run much smoother, have less loading, show more detail, smoother multiplayer (Minecraft 360 was nearly impossible to play with more than 4 people, runs fine with 8 on X1), etc.

360 isn't bad, but is significantly crappier when compared to X1 and that is a good thing. New consoles are supposed to make the older ones look bad.

I miss how the old Achievements look on the 360 compared to the One, though. The small icons look better than the large game covers imo.

Assassins Creed Liberation: HD is showing as $4.99, but goes to $19.99 when I try to buy it. Is this a holdover from last week that I missed?

yah I am only realy interested in sunset overdrive plus remote play on ps4 then KI , but seeing that they are putting out the half physical version, I will definitely get the full game version when it comes out hopefully next year, and seeing how a lot of the new games might get platinum or greatest hits editions with all the dlc and cheaper is better than waisting it all up front earlier, when they finally kill making games for the old consoles which wont happen for at least 2 years then I will worry, currently I am trying to get older games that I traded in so down the line I can replay them for nostalgia since i usually keep old consoles especially when some of the great games never get released again (goldeneye, sky pirates of arcadia, primal rage from midways collections, etc)

Is Battlefield any good?
Very good. This runs great, has a nice and balanced multiplayer and good destruction (depending on if you want a whole building brought down or detailed destruction like in BF 3/4).

No it's a new sale but it's doing the same for me and others here. It shows up as $4.99 on the console but not the site as well.
