Post of the week for me! Nice.

I just like how it's not just one chronicle that Red Johnson has but that he has many Chronicles . . . . also the last time I wanted a Red Johnson it cost me far more than $5 and that includes all the antibiotics and itching creams so this sounds like a pretty gnarly deal.

But in all seriousness this is such an obscure game but one that I've noticed from time to time in the marketplace and been curious about. Can anyone comment? And I've noticed that Steam has Red Johnson's Chronicles 1 & 2 - is there a sequel that only made it to PC then? Will I be left with a cliffhanger at the end of this one or will it be a satisfying ending if I don't want to get the second one on Steam?

And yeah amazing price on Witcher 2. Not a bad sale at the end of the day.

Witcher 2 is easily worth that price.  I'd imagine it goes GWG in Feb/March when Witcher 3 comes out if you want to take the chance, but I wouldn't at that price.

 
Bought lego movie game. 2 player coop with the wife again! We 100% lego marvel, batman 2, lord of the rings, Indiana jones 2, and pirates already.
 
Why can't we have a sale on Lego marvel xb1? It went oos last week when game fly had it and I was checking out. Never came back in stock.

Thinking about NCAA 14.  Any input?  I usually get a new football game once every few years.  Since this is the last NCAA game for now it might be worth picking up.  Was this last year's iteration good?

Yes. Best the series ever produced, IMO. Well worth $10.

 
I was actually liking these sales, and was pondering picking some stuff up. I was like "Injustice for 6 bucks? Sure!"... then the price in Europe is 16.49 Euros = 20.83 Dollars. I was like "LEGO Marvel for 10 bucks? That's something I could bite on!"... then the price in Europe is 21.44 Euros = 27.08 Dollars.

It showed up on time, it just wanted to charge you $20 until a few days later.
 
Ugh, I had to go buy witcher when it was 10 bucks and now it's back at 80% off!

Good thing I'm out of hard drive space and money because I would have pulled the trigger on lego marvel.  But now, i'll be able to wait for a 75 - 80% off price.

 
Batman Arkham Origins: Blackgate is a rather enjoyable game that I liked quite a bit on the Vita, though I don't know how the experience translates to a home console. My biggest deterrent with the game (which actually prevented me from finishing it) is the map. Forget the Joker, the map in Blackgate is Batman's most challenging foe. It's not so bad for traversing when doing missions (or even searching for collectables) but the endgame for Blackgate is very poorly constructed given the map is so bad. 

That all being said, the map is supposedly fixed on the HD version so good luck to those that wish to pick it up. I think even for $5 you can enjoy it right up until the very end when you are sent on a ridiculous fetch quest.

Me too, and I wish it was a free GwG game. I know it's free with PS+ this month, but I want to replay it on 360 since I have City there. I hate splitting up a series between different platforms. And now I'm afraid to buy it on 360 because the strong likelihood of it being free eventually.

It's an adult RPG. Built more around a good story arc, adult conversations and even adult "activities". The controls take a while to get used to and after you do they are mediocre to good. Oh and it doesn't hold your hand. You find your way on your own.

Overall the Witcher series is very good. Not a must play but definitely a game I dont have a problem with telling others to pick up.
 
So in xbox live rewards, back when rebates were based on gamerscore, 15-20 bucks of purchases from weekly sales brought in around 600 points in rebates.  Now that it's based on your star level (i'm at level 1), 15-20 bucks of purchases bring in around 200 points.

It's showing up twice on the console, one $4.99 and one free. When I try to buy the free one it added it to my download history but errors before any of it downloads. Thanks though!

Not sure why the Destiny comparison's necessary. I played this game a few nights during the week I owned a PS4 before Destiny launched. I've never played it since then.
 
It looks very similar to Destiny when not in combat. I find Warframe combat to be more fun. When watching a Warframe stream a few days before Destiny came out, a lot of people were asking if it was Destiny.

From what I've played of both, Warframe is Destiny with more content and 3rd person camera.

 
To all those picking up The Witcher 2 - great price.  Early on the combat is a bit difficult and awkward.  After the prologue it gets much better.   Just stick with it.

 
Nice deal on Injustice but I'm still holding out on a decent deal for the Ultimate Edition. Does the season pass come with everything in the Ultimate?
 
Can anyone definitively say what happens to Microsoft Point cards that weren't redeemed before they changed the currency to face dollar value? I found a bunch of 800 MSP codes I can't remember if I redeemed. I tried one, Xbox tells me it was redeemed already, I tried two more, the system tells me they are invalid. So I'm thinking I never used those two codes and I'm out the money now.
