Well there's major XBL sales for Tahnksgiving/Black Friday and Christmas/New Year's usually. Then I believe there's also a major sale in the spring time. If you have that much though you may as well get it now if you want it since I doubt any of the new release stuff from the next month or two is going to be on sale any time soon.

Yes and no. If you're into the story the world is really rich and the games that I've played are actually fairly story focused. If the story does nothing for you then probably not.

For anyone who preordered Halo MCC from the microsoft store, it looks like they are changing the release time to 12AM EST - same if east coast, but it seems earlier now if you are west/etc.  Its actually kinda hard to tell just going off whats on their update page

I... I'm really not even sure what to think about this statement. You're obviously in the core demographic enough to be surfing a site dedicated to finding deals on video games but Halo was a transcendental property long before COD captured the public zeitgeist and was the public face of gaming for many years so even someone who hasn't played a video game since Pac-Man is at least aware of Halo. Last gen there were four Halo releases and the internet, gaming media, and even mainstream media were all pretty saturated with mentions of it. Basically:

I have the same issue. Don't know the cause, but I found a workaround:

1. Push and hold on the topic link in the board list, and select "copy"

2. Open the notes app, and paste the copied link.

3. Remove the end of the link, specifically this part: ?view=getnewpostgetnewpost

4. Copy the newly edited link

5. Paste the link into Safari, and go it. Should now open.
 
Finished Sunset and collected all those Fizzie balloons, it was alright but just couldnt get into it. Beat it in 12 hrs

I thought the pacing in Sunset story was perfect. Difficult without being frustrating and the missions had enough variety to stay fun. The side quests are a bit repetitive though.

Chaos Squad is very fun as well. Wish it was more co-op oriented though and less competitive. Being able to play story/explore in co-op would have been great too.

That's not really all that much if you care about finishing the game even if you're not that into it. I really didn't care about Shadow of Mordor that much after the first few hours but still spent around 30 hours on it to finish it and get most of the achievements.

 
Started Battlefield Bad Company 2 yesterday. I'm having more fun than I did in the first game. No more red smoke, limited driving, and the combat has more of an importance so it's harder to get to objectives.

And further back on my backlog, Doom just gets harder and harder. I'm on Episode 4 and just recently learned/had a use for the sprint button. About to start "And Hell Followed".
