I agree. Titanfall is more fluid and just flat out more fun. This is coming from a CoD Vet that has played them all for hours on end. Wouldn't hold my breath on getting too many new players. People are ready to move on despite Repsawn adding in new modes.

My friend says 360 version is pretty dead. X1 version is still populated except for the 2nd DLC. I can rarely find a match in the 2nd DLC playlist. More of my friends have been getting back into it because the season pass was recently on sale.

Defiance is a poor mans Destiny.

In fact there are certain things I like about Defiance more than Destiny.

After having played Defiance first, I remember thinking going through Destiny that this all seems somewhat familiar. Of course you can argue that most MMOs will rip each other off, and feel the same here and there, but at least in this instance, I definitely think that if you for whatever reason can't play Destiny, then Defiance isn't a whole lot different....and its free.

Defiance was a decent game and I got my money's worth out of it while it lasted. It was also pretty fly-by-night in the sense that there were constant glitches, server issues, stuff not working as intended, and every new feature being broken for the first month or so after it was introduced. They also had problems trying to figure out what to offer as paid DLC. Almost every time, the meat of the update ended up being free for everyone, and if you had paid you basically just paid for a few extra outfits and the ability to unlock the new achievements.

I quit playing around the time it went free to play because I wasn't happy with some of the associated changes.

Still has the same issues, LOL. Its fun for me to play though, when it gets going and isnt disconnecting me.

But hey man you get what you pay for, and since I got it for free, then I dont complain.

Your playing a loot filled, Sci-Fi, FPS, MMO. Like I said, IMHO Defiance is Destiny just with worse graphics and not as polished.

Warframe is poor man's Destiny, but has more content than Destiny. Defiance is its own thing that everybody thought was going to be a poor man's Destiny. Until Destiny came out and it was nothing like Defiance at all. Destiny's world isn't completely open with tons of players running around everywhere.

Defiance is a more open world MMO. When the game was released there would be 50+ players fighting a single boss at the same time and it was a lot of fun. Haven't played it in awhile though so I can't comment on how populated the game is now. The race weekend events were great too. Tons of cars trying to complete the race fast enough for a reward.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Majesco stuff eventually disappear, and with Double Dragon Neon never seeing a sale, may be time to finally bite on that.

As for Midnight City, I think they may be a bit safer, or at least their games will be considering Slender and Costume Quest 2 just released within the past month. So probably going to continue waiting on them.

I think so- Once a game is started from the in-pack menu, players simply connect to the “jackbox.tv” web address on their device and then enter the on-screen room code to enter a game. No big mess of controllers needed!

I've been doing this since you suggested it to get my 20 Bing searches per day. Thanks for the suggestion. I hate using Bing for searches but I love getting points. I will continue to do this so I can get some more free Xbox Live credit.

And, after reading what everyone has had to say about Enslaved, I might not buy it after all. I'm down to about 170 gb on my hard drive, and I don't really want to waste space on bad games or just spend Xbox Live credit haphazardly. I guess have unless next Monday to decide. I always planned to re-buy the game on 360 since I didn't particular like playing it with the Dual Shock 3 on PS3, but I can't say I want to go through all those stages again. The whole game just seemed to be a showplace for combat, if I remember correctly. It's been a while since I booted it up.

there is a demo of enslaved (first chapter). I really enjoyed the game,the exploration reminded me of uncharted, fun melee combat and good characters. yes some people are annoyed that you cant kill your self by jumping or running off of a cliff. I purchased at release and was very happy with my purchase

I played the PC version and thought it was a fantastic game, really fun and well done. For $20 I'd say definitely worth it. if Sleeping Dogs goes on sale for the same price I'd say pick that up too, another great game.

 
How long is the Destiny trial? Somebody commented at XBA that you can play everything except for the story missions. If that is true, they are on the road to f2p.

The competitive multiplayer is what you can't do. The Bungie page says the trial has "a sampling of character creation and progression, story mission content, along with cooperative and social activities."

With the limited amount of content the game has, offering even half of the game could be a giant loss for them. I mean, why buy it when a friend who has the full game can tell you that there's barely anything else to do in the game?

 
You had to know Destiny was going to have a content issue when they started selling two expansion packs before the game was even released.

Yes, true, but did any of those games drastically cut/change the story to appeal to the FPS/younger attention deficit crowd, and put a large part of the cut content on the disc, to later be used as paid DLC?
 
Defiance is coming up free on xbox

Some folks kept getting an error message. It says cant download difeance. Delete it off your game tab in the storage section. Go to account and click the game and select redownload. You have to leave the active download screen open. It will download. If you go back out it says cant download defiance and you have to start over. Its 5.01 gb
