Thanks for the link. I heard they're already working on a sequel for the game. It definitely looks interesting, just couldn't buy it for $60 at launch but $35 is soooo tempting.

Apparently the buginess was one of the biggest problems with it and I've heard that the devs have really been on top of it since day one working to fix it.

Note that the FAQ says anyone who played the game between launch and 11:59 PM PST tonight will get the free stuff, so anyone who bought the game but hasn't started it up yet, right now would be a really good time to do that.

 
I wasn't going to download the Halo 5 beta but I will and play it a lil bit. There might be a slim chance they give some free stuff if you play that.  :pray:

 
Kind of strange to have ODST in Master Chief Collection. I was expecting a spinoff collection with it, reach, and wars.

I'm not a fan of the movement in Halo 5. I need my wall runs.

for anyone who still has it: did they fix most everything yet?  I traded in my copies (bought 4 as pre-orders and trade fodder), played for a few hours but honestly didn't really like the game that much.  I can appreciate the old school FPS nature of it, but nowadays after used to BF4/Titanfall/Destiny its hard to go back to games without ADS, odd control schemes, etc.  Yeah yeah Halo is a classic etc but just not my kinda game anymore I guess.  Didn't particularly think much of the campaign either.

Still for $45 you get 4 games for 1 essentially, but I have a feeling the digital version will be even cheaper next year.

Maybe it shouldn't have been but as bare bones as everything outside of Halo 2 is at $60 they probably should have included the other two games. Then how much are they going to charge for ODST and Reach? $15 each? $20 each? Are they going to charge separately for the campaign and MP modes? Whole thing start to finish has been a quarter assed cash in to me.

Yes, I'm salty about the whole thing and I may be entirely wrong but that's my take.

Damn...just procured a copy of NCAA 14 off craigslist for $25, not realizing that it went on sale this week for $10.

How long does it take to install Halo?  I was going to give it to my kid for Christmas but apparently I need to play it tonight.

Four whole games with all DLC included is considered bare bones? Really?

You just sound like you're looking for something to complain about. The servers and them not releasing games ready for online, yes, but in terms of a total package...it seems fine to me for that price.

Halo Wars seems like an odd inclusion in an otherwise all shooter collection. They couldn't exactly do the unified matchmaking with it.

Yeah, each of the games has enough content on it's own, combine all 4 and the value is already great. Adding in ODST (for free due to the problems) is just awesome as well, 5 full campaigns. And Spartan Ops aren't even out yet, that's a whole other set of stuff to do, on top of the new map for Forge (Relic should be amazing for Forge).

It's one of the biggest installs I got on my hard drive around 59 g b
That , cod aw and the forza series have taken up the most room.

Yeah, not sure what happened there, but I can guarantee it wasn't Harmonix's idea. They are the classiest company I've ever dealt with.
