Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

Damn...just procured a copy of NCAA 14 off craigslist for $25, not realizing that it went on sale this week for $10.

How long does it take to install Halo? I was going to give it to my kid for Christmas but apparently I need to play it tonight.
You got an insane deal for a disc copy. Those are going for $80 on AZ/EBay.

I see Golf Club on steam for cheap now..maybe a sign tomorrow xbox one deal is golf club for $13.99

Who wants to think I'm right too? Haha it's a mess predicting the next daily deal.

Off topic question...a friend of mine, the only friend I have that games, is looking to buy a new TV. This is the one he thinks he wants, but I have no knowledge on current gen TV's to say whether it's good or not, so thought I'd get your opinions since I'm betting you all know a lot more about these TV's than I do...http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/SCEPTRE-X325BV-FMDR-32-LED-Class-1080P-HDTV-with-Ultra-Slim-Metal-Brush-Bezel-MHL/25059349
Sorry if I'm too late, but one of the most interesting factors for LCD gaming is input lag. There are some online databases

where they've tested TVs for this, but I haven't been able to find definitive numers for this Sceptre set, though this review claims it is low. Many LCD TVs have a "game mode" setting that will minimize the input lag, so check for that.

He won't buy online, period. His parents had their CC info stolen online years ago and the entire family is so paranoid about shopping online it's not even funny. He won't even buy anything digital on the marketplace. I've tried converting him for years now but it's a solid No.

Not sure about 720p vs 1080p. If the TV was for myself I'd only go 1080p.
On a 32" set 720p vs 1080p isn't going to make much difference. The bigger the TV gets, the more you have to care about resolution. Refusal to use the Xbox marketplace is just weird, especially given that you don't even need a credit card, just buy an Xbox gift card.

I'd love that, but typically we don't see the same price drops on XBL as we do on Steam.

Case in point: Evil Within on Steam at $20.39 on Black Friday but $29.99 on XBL.

....So even if we knew Golf Club would be on sale on XBL, I'd want to see the price first before throwing a party; its not a foregone conclusion that it'd be a great price.

It's about $20 on the other console, so you might not want to get your hopes up on a pricematch.

See, this is why I asked here...lol. Never even knew about input lag...

I told him that well go tomorrow instead of today, to wait and see what's in the sale ads in tomorrows paper. So going to keep reading up on info tonight, though I did watch a few YouTube video reviews and one guy was using the scepter set to play his ps3 and gave it high praise. Have to rewatch it and see if it shows anything about different tv modes.

I'm surprised we haven't seen Lococycle for $5 yet. I'm sure it will reach it soon or go GwG. I bought it for $5.49 from http://gamedealdaily.com/xbox-one/lococycle-full-game-download/ on a whim and am sort of enjoying it for the price.
Gotta remember to bookmark that site. I keep encountering it and it's awesome, regardless of what will be on sale, the 5$ LocoCycle and the 25$ Unity were too good to pass up, considering that it's TONS better prices than any European shop (online or otherwise) could offer.

:xb1: R.B.I. Baseball 14 - $5.00 - 75% off

Not sure about Guacamelee.  I got it when it was GwG, so it doesn't show me the price on the web, and it's $14.99 when I'm not signed in.  Not sure if a non-Gold discount is reflected on the web if not signed in.

so those are the deals of the day? RBI Baseball 14 and Stick it to the man? I already got both of them. I got RBI that time it went on sale for 5 bux and then they changed it to 10 bux.

Man I really suck at Halo Mp....I fired up the beta last night and mechanically it was great. Sadly I was killed more than I killed :)

Aim for the head. If you are seeing two people shooting each other dont fire till you get closer. If you waste your bullets before you get close youll get killed when you do get in close since you will be reloading they wont be. Dont for get to melee its very effective.

well i bought Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City and so far its honestly not that bad.

Story is good so far it has that nostalgic feel to it since it intertwines with RE2 but i am only a mission in hopefully it stays strong,

Gameplay is just ok the auto cover system is not bad to me,the aiming is again just ok,its not great at all but i guess it can be worse.

Im playing on the hardest difficulty so obviously enemies are gonna be tough but damn soldiers take 100's of shots its soo annoying and the off aiming makes it more tough.

The thing that sucks is the online, versus matches seem like they can be alot of fun,the levels are nice and i love the fact of fighting the other team while having zombies and hunters running around but it gets to the point where its soo hectic you really dont know what the hell is going on or who your shooting.

Once again im only like 2 hours into the game/multiplayyer so honestly it can go either way but right now its not that bad.

its worth 10 bucks to me

You got an insane deal for a disc copy. Those are going for $80 on AZ/EBay.
I know, so I'm not complaining too much:) I'll still buy the digital version. I did have to boil the disk for my 360 to read it (I have (3) 360s so I know it was an issue with the disk, it wasn't scratched much at all)

I was at Target today and they had a Samsung 32 LED for 199.00

Nutjitsu is a decent amount of fun and one of the easiest 1000GS ever. Just don't expect a deep or polished experience.

I hope some indie games I don't already own go on sale at some point.

tempted to get rbi baseball for 5. From what I have heard , it is not the easiest and most enjoyable game to play.

hmmm   A bit indecisive on that and MTG 2015

Any thoughts on rbi  ?

Agreed. Ive been wanting the Dead Rising 3 pass for $5-10 for a while.

And screw the people on here asking $20 for a pass they stole out of a GameStop case -____-

From the demo I played and the reviews I heard, its a giant piece of poo.

If you like the old school style of RBI Baseball, you'll enjoy the nostalgia factor of '14 at least. It's not spectacular, and obviously doesn't hold up to The Show or even 2K, but that's not what it's trying to be. I like it for its simplicity, and it was worth five bucks to me.

Settle down now. Those traders in the XB code thread who post dozens of dlc codes came across all of that stuff legitly. It's not like they're a store employee and ganked the codes.

I wish it was on sale for Xbox 360. They only had it on sale for X1 and I felt ripped off. I would easily pay $5-$7.50 for it.

Guacamelee is sitting on my PS3's backlog but it seemed like a good game from the little I played on it. Titles are getting better just like I predicted.

Picked up Stick it to the Man because I've been wanting that for a while. Also grabbed Nutjitsu because $3. And it also looked pretty fun based on eastx's livestream last week.

Is RBI any different on the X1 then the demo I played on the 360? I didn't enjoy the 360 demo at all but I loved the old RBI baseball I had on Nintendo.

This has got to be one of the worst sales that I can remember. I was hoping for a sale on DA:I but it's not looking good.
Yeah it's been a major dud so far. All the games are over priced for a special sale. 33%, 50% for most. The weekly deals have had some incredible price drops for the last 6 months or so. The quality of the games may be improving but the prices are still just average. I mean hasn't guacamelee been a weekly deal for 50% off already? Mostly repeat sales at the bare minimum price drops. Course I'm speaking from the 360 side of things.

Yeah you could get the Apocalypse edition over BF, trade it back for almost even and sell the pass if you really wanted.

Anyone know if the digital version of NCAA comes with the online pass?

About to buy that and sell my sealed retail on Ebay...
EA abandoned all online passes like last year so even used games it can be acquired for free. All digital games include it though as it's the equivalent of buying it new.

Really disappointed with the sales so far as well. Considering grabbing Lords of the Fallen but I have it on my PC. Id just rather play on the big screen but Im actually leaning more towards buying a 50ft hdmi cable and 50 ft usb entender to run under the floor so I can run an hdmi cable and wired 360 controller from my pc in the computer room to the tv in the living room

I've never seen such bad reviews for a game. It's hard to go very wrong at $5, but the reviews were so over the top bad that I'm going to save my money.

Three steps to winning most Halo fights:

1) Grenade --> Either around the corner, bounce off walls or straight at them as they run

2) Shoot --> If you have an Auto, spray away. For precision weapons shoot for the head (keep stepping back/jumping if necessary)

3) Melee --> If you or your enemy get close enough, a melee should finish him off.

I've played a fair bit of the XBO version and I have gotten my $5 worth out of it.

I will say it seems like the umpiring system is biased against the user though. (bang/bang plays seem to usually go in favor of the CPU no matter what)
