So far Walking Dead season 2 and Child of Light are my only purchases. Weird thing is that i got charged $0.83 tax for Walking Dead and only $0.17 for Child of Light. I wish Microsoft had a clearer way that explained why. You don't even know if you're getting taxed until you get the email conf.

Also its been weird not seeing Tyler in this thread. Hope he's been good.

Weird, it's ongoing? Just the one then? I've been online with my 360 for the past 3 hours.

 
From what I've seen and heard from friends and others, the connection issue is more with the Xbox One and PS4 than with the 360 and PS3. I ve had no trouble playing a bunch of rounds of titanfall on my 360 today but a bunch of people along with some of my friends cant connect to their Xbones.. I havent tried to get on my ps3 and game but i rarely tend to play online games on it. on a better note, at least steam is working fine!

I just played off and on for about 10 hours straight. Had no problems all day, even with the Lizard Squad bullshit. Are you sure it isn't on your end?

I guess I see it differently then some of you. I feel that if they didn't see it as a fair deal then they wouldn't provide the excellent service of taking it with no receipt. I don't lie to anyone and don't feel I'm taking advantage of them. I used to work at Home Depot and I know we took lots of things as returns that may not have been from our store but we saw it as a way to build customer loyalty by providing a kick ass return policy. Home Depot and Walmart have a lot of great policies like that and I've returned things to both over many years that may or may not have been from them but that's part of why I shop at those stores instead of Kmart or Ace Hardware.

Before you cast too many stones though look in a mirror. I thought about running out to gamestop to buy the $100 Xbox slim to "sell" it to best buy for $300 but didn't because that felt dishonest. I also have never changed my country setting to attempt to get a free game like minecraft on psn from Europe. Not saying that I'm better then anyone else here cuz im not here to judge you guys either. Just saying let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Also, XBL is still down... wish they would get that up, wanted to play games tonight. Guess I'll watch Dawn of the Planet of the Apes instead.

These Lizard guys are fuckin stupid. Do they realize what's gonna happen to them once they're caught? Sony and MS are gonna prosecute so hard they'll have to die and come back to life 80 times to pay off the fines and finish up prison terms. Just so they could deny online access for 24-48 hours.

I also have never changed my country setting to attempt to get a free game like minecraft on psn from Europe. Not saying that I'm better then anyone else here cuz im not here to judge you guys either. Just saying let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Also, XBL is still down... wish they would get that up, wanted to play games tonight. Guess I'll watch Dawn of the Planet of the Apes instead.

Also I was able to use my xb1 from 7pm CDT until I left for work at 11 hopefully it will still be up when I get home.

Returning things to walmart without a receipt isn't the same as flipping an item. But I can't really judge, I've taken things to walmart in the past without a receipt.

So I got home around 9:00pm last night and wanted to play my saved game on Mordor. Since I couldn't connect to live it said it couldn't sync my saved game but it looked like I could still load the saved game. I decided not to play because I didn't want my saved game to get messed due to not being able to connect to live. I've always been connected to live when playing so I haven't had to deal with this before. Was I just being paranoid & the save game would have just re-synced my progress the next time I connected to live if I had played?
 
I went through the same thing with mordor as well but the message was different. Said my save is from a older version of the game and would be deleted if I tried to play. To answer your question yes it should sync once online again. Im waiting till I reconnect before trying my save.

The last time I did a no receipt return at Wal Mart they made me do an even value exchange from the same department. Which is fine, since I would have just bought a game had they given me a gift card. Saved me time and they got a lovely sealed copy of something I already had that was still fairly new.

 
Quick (noob) question- do the weekly specials ever go cheaper on "daily" sale? 

I'd like to pick up Fifa, Destiny, FC4, but wondering if I need to apply Steam Sale protocol ;)

It looked a little over the top gruesome to me and frusterating. Shadow of Mordor is fantastic though, the mechanics seem very fluid and natural and the game is super satisfying when you get revenge or take down a warchief. Maybe it will have a good sale for you soon.

A little of topic but yesterday I was trying to load up my saved gta5 xbox1 and continue my mission, but since I coulndt sign in to my account I couldn't continue my saved game. I thought Microsoft said we could play games offline when it launched. So what's the deal here?

Your Xbox has to be set as your home Xbox.
