I only played a few matches sometime last year on PS3 and it seemed active enough. I have no idea how it is now, but I find that most games with a multiplayer component have a more active community that anyone would expect. The problem is that it's usually people that have already sunk plenty of time into it, so you'll probably get hammered at first. (unintentional pun)

Nah, only because I don't see the appeal in Minecraft.

Halo 3/4 for cross-gen play would be pretty cool. I wouldn't mind cult classics like Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Too Human, etc. to be added over yearly releases like COD.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist would be at the top of my list. A "remaster" could work too.

What we really need is an Ultimate XBLA game sale. Got zilch from this past week. In a world with things like GCU, digital retail games have to be more at the 75% off mark to compete. But a lot of XBLA games I'd bite on even at the 50% mark since 90% of them never go on sale.

Which version? The Xbox 360 version has been lower before, so I'd hold out for that price again. The Xbox One version is high, but you also have to remember it comes with the DLC.

I would expect the One version to be cheaper in the future, though. There's also a disc version of it, so that may go on sale at retailers in the future as they try to drop stock.

 
I think it's already a given that halo 3/4 and odst will be back compat, they said all first party games other then kinect and multi disc...

Game is seriously good. I had reservations but I put in 5-6 hours in 2 days and that's rare for me.

Xbox one version. If it were $15 it would be a no brainer for me. But i could see this hitting $20 at retailers pretty frequently in the future.

Yeah it is very good. A huge plus of BC is not having to buy games again that you already own *cough* Nintendo and Sony *cough*. Maybe a small failure if Halo 3/4 Xbox One versions were available as a free upgrade.

 
Two questions, and I apologize if they are both dumb:

1) I just bought two Xbox One games through the web store, and the XBox credit that I have was charged for both. I then tried to buy Mortal Kombat for 360, but it said that it was going to charge my credit card, instead of using some of the credit I have left. Is there somewhere else for me to buy this online to use my credit? I don't have a 360; I'm banking on eventual backwards compatibility.

2) I'm going to have just about enough credit left to get Ori and the Blind Forest, and you guys have sold me on the quality of the game. Is there anything we can use as a reasonable guess about if or when it will be a Game With Gold? I know it's a risk that it will be there eventually, but I hope not September or something.

Too Human is probably a no-go considering all the legal troubles around it. Weren't they ordered to recall and destroy all outstanding copies (or something like that).

It's a shame too cuz I'm one of the few that actually loved playing that game. Hell, I remember watching the first Thor movie and thinking they ripped off Too Human's artwork :lol:

 
I'm thinking Tomb Raider will be on GWG before Rise launches. Especially since we will have 2 new titles each month now.

Tomb Raider and Murdered are good. RBI 14 was terrible, but 15 was supposed to fix a lot of problems. Not sure if they actually did. 14 was so bad that they won't be getting my money unless it drops to under $5.

 
Murdered was decent / eh. It's worth one play though. It is however about an 8 hour game to get all achievements and there is NO replay value at all. Basically, its a point and click game with a very tiny bit of hide and go seak from demons. Demon sees you hide in black goo until it walks away. Oh look a new case to solve. Click on the 8 shiny items. Achievement unlocked. Rinse and repeat 8 times. Game over. You didn't really do or see anything in-between.... Oh wait yes you did. You turn into a cat for about 5 minutes. The end.


I wouldn't get this on digital. Buy it physical play it over one night or weekend and trade it out for something else or take it back to GameStop what ever floats your boat. After one play though I traded it with out even trying to finish the last achievements that I had missed because I was so bored with it.

I wouldn't pay more than $5 for it since you can 100% it in one sitting if you want. I did enjoy it for what it was though and are glad I able to play it and flip it for no cost.
