Where did this stupid idea come from? New Vegas is not dlc, it's a part of the main canon.

Do you think Black Isle/Bethesda are only planning on putting out Fallout 4, and no other canonical entries, arcade games, or stand alone dlc in the next 9 years of this generation? This is without having looked at any of the hype or rumors even for 4, just looking at Bethesda and Fallout's history:

1) Fallout 4 will have some story dlc, but there will be a separate stand alone dlc midway between it and whatever 5 is called.

2) Fallout 5 will be out so fast it will still be very fresh in your mind your precious idea of one Fallout per generation, and just like NV it will be a sub par rehash.

3) I guarantee we are not far from either a 1/2 remaster or a new top down shooter as an homage to 1/2. It might be completely turn based, it might be action like BoS, but I'm betting they will use VATS as a compromise between action rpg/tactical shooter.

I've been a T-Mobile customer for a long time, so unless they were doing random credit checks on me in the last couple years I should be A-OK. Though it's hilarious that I heard about this here before hearing from the company itself.

You can get 4g but it costs a little more. Still way cheaper than most providers.

Also I just preordered star wars because thps5 turned out to be a turd. Preordered 5 games this fall, 6 counting the copy of fallout I'm giving away. Thats got to be a personal record.

i remember having to start over but it was a long time ago, so i'm not positive. i had the goty disc and then bought vanilla on xbox live

 
I was at Walmart today and I noticed there was a Walmart Exclusive Escape Dead Island Xbox 360 game that came w/ codes for Dead Island and the 3 DLC.

Found a pic of it on eBay. You'll probably have to get the game in the store for that exclusive. Not sure if the online one will have the bonus 4 codes for the game and DLC. They had the same promo for PS3 as well.

GameStop has Escape Dead Island for $9.97 and Walmart.com is $12.81. I wonder if Walmart will price match GameStop. Well, they should at least match the Walmart.com price at the store.

They weren't the developer, but they were happy to put their name all over it.

If you want to make it all about being developed by Bethesda, I'm sure that gets into tracking the developers from the various studios that have worked on Fallout/Wasteland properties and obviously I don't care to look into that.

Here's my point: We're a year into a 10 year lifecycle and the claim is there isn't going to be a new Fallout game for the next 9 years? That in 3-5 years when new engines and developmental familiarity leads to massive improvements in gfx/processing in general, Bethesda is going to say "No, if there's not new hardware and a new name from the manufacturer, we wait. One per generation!"

Walmart does this a lot. From EA Sports games having some extra UT packs to Assassin's Creed games having an extra skin to Aliens Colonial Marines having an extra mp map, many games have had an extra exclusive bit for Walmart. I tried to start a thread to track it and other exclusives like it, but it wasn't really worth it. Of course, this is one of their better exclusives being that it is a whole retail game. I always wondered if anyone was even able to play that map in Aliens CM. Game tanked bad enough as it is. You had to have enough people online who bought it at Walmart to play it.

 
To anyone who has played Skate 3, does it add (or take away) anything over Skate 2? Already have the 2nd game on disc and debating if I want to buy the 3rd or not.

 
If you want to get started preloading your DLC on your XBox One for Rock Band 4, alot of the DLC is up now and ready to install if you own it previously.

Smartglass not showing them as free yet. There are a bunch of songs I didn't know were in Rock Band that I want now. Wish I could trade most of the songs that come with RB4 for better dlc ones.

I own pretty much every one of the songs that's been listed so far. If I go to Manage Game and let it sit for 10 minutes to load content, will the songs I own pop up so I can hit Install All? Or do I need to go to each song's download page individually 360-style?

Too early to tell without the game right now. Since none of the bundles are showing up as free, but if you bought a song bundle on the 360 and go through each individual song they (for the most part) come up as free. Also none of the Green Day Rock Band songs are coming up free as far as I can tell if you did the song import from the game. Though my friend maybe getting a band bundle early this weekend so we'll see.

If the servers don't break, I can help out new players tomorrow night if they are having problems. I'm curious if they used any of the delay time to fix/change any of the stuff we recommended they change.

The game is super niche, so don't expect to like it at first. I personally love the enemy design the best. There will be a ton of dialogue that you can skip through. If you normally don't like MMORPGs (Destiny doesn't count as an MMO), this game won't make you like them. If you want to become an MMO person, find a game that is from something you love. For example I struggled to get into MMOs until playing LOTRO. I knew most of what's going on from other games/movies, so it wasn't as overwhelming as a brand new universe to learn. With Onigiri, if you are a fan of Japanese mythology then this might be able to pull you in.

I'm about level 50 and haven't paid a cent (partially because the store wasn't available yet). The only thing I thought about buying was a cosmetic outfit. There might be XP boosters that would make leveling faster, but leveling too fast might make the game easy.

I think Skate 3 is an overall improvement over skate 2 in the mechanics. Though
the urban vibe you feel in Skate 2 is gone. There's no real exploring in the third. I got for $2.99 though last December's sale. D:

Kinect bundle looks terrible. Gears bundle is eh. Aside from the different colour, the other Gears bundle with Rare Replay, Ori and the 1TB drive is better.

I imagine the DLC for RB will work like Rocksmith - each song has to be downloaded individually - even if you bought it in a pack. Probably be easier once the game is out and you can go down the list in the in game store.

I still don't understand why with the pre-orders. Unless there's a glitch/discount, don't give them the luxury of taking your money before it's proven not broken.
