yea and the fact they advertise the top as something special is crap. it's really nothing, was expecting something similar to the lunar grips, just feels like cheaper plastic than the rest of the controller. And you also get that REQ pack but yea still sucks it's $70.

I turned on my Xbox today to get in some Halo, and there was update. Download was fine, but it hung up on the installation for roughly an hour. To make matters worse, fiancee thought I left it on and turned it off (I had changed inputs and was playing on something else). So now when I turn it on it just hangs on the green splash screen. Anyone got an idea on what to do?

I can't deal with this shit aiming; I shouldnt have to adapt to acceleration or slow diagonal and fast horiz/vertical aiming. 343 is the worst development company I have ever seen.

I would like to make $5 from pre ordering Halo 5 since I guarantee we will see it low on/around black friday. The H5 community is going to dwindle fast with the lack of maps, game modes, and issues with radar/aming, etc.

(oh and with black ops 3 this next friday, I guarantee it will destroy Halo sales unfortunately; I have a long time love for Halo, but when it fell into 343's hands, they somehow ruined it)

Thanks for this! Now that I'm home I got to fiddle with it and it just fixed itself I guess? Only damn problem is that it updated to the new xbox experience even though I opted out. What the hell.

If the Pip-Boy wasn't going to be something insane on the secondary market I would have cancelled mine. Socks are actually more appealing to mee (even if they wouldn't fit my feet).

 
People go crazy for Fallout stuff. Pretty sure im gonna sell my pip boy edition and just grab the socks version. Also decided I couldn't justify keeping the LE controllers with how much they are selling for on EBay.

I beat Halo 5 today and after playing the single player it really did not feel like a Halo game to me.  The graphics and combat were good but so much of the story was just way out there even for a sci-fi game.  Really did not like how if you havent read any of the lore you have no idea who half of the characters in 5 are, the "fireteams" ended up being pretty useless since they die so much and reusing the same boss 4 times was pretty damn stupid.  I do think the MP is fun and will play for a bit but definitely not my GOTY.

I just beat it also. I know I beat Halo 4 but honestly I either cannot remember anything from it or there was a bunch of outside the game stuff released between 4 and 5 because the story made little sense to me. I got the big picture (and honestly it is kind of cliche) but I hope there is more to it. I may not be holding onto this very long after getting as many of the achievements as possible.

Yes I was aware of that, I just hoped that people in the Preview or with NXOE would get the BC version immediately. I'll keep watching for it in My Games and Apps.

I'm not sure if 3D would make even more of a difference or not, but from my experience the performance of all games suffers running off of an external drive. Playing installed or downloaded games off of my 1TB Western Digital My Passport Ultra yields speeds comparable to playing directly off of a disc (as opposed to being installed).

I find it kind of off putting that Dirt 3 requires an online pass for $9.99. It sounds like one of those used game deterrents where the game bought new would include the code, but everyone else has to pay.

The online was probably dead, but with it now being a GwG, I'm sure it would have perked up a bit. Microsoft should have made the online purchase free as well.

I'm not even sure I'd play it but it's crappy just the same since we technically got it "new". Just my two cents.

Online passes are usually included in the Games on Demand downloads

It is if you bought it used but the GoD downloads don't need that online pass because it is already included in the download as the guy above me said. Online won't be dead :)

Well, when I try to play multiplayer it keeps asking for the pass and if I click on it, it tries to charge me $9.99.

Has anyone tried playing multiplayer?
