Because then when you haven't played it 10 years later it's worth $1 instead of $100. Had that happen with more than a few games from the original XB back when I would open everything but never play it. :wall:

 
I have played everything I bought except digital games and used copies of Bakugan, Twister Mania, Karaoke Revolution Glee and MLB Front Office Manager. There is more but they are of the same quality, guess I will never be rich. On a side note I do have a sweet copy of CIB Chrono Trigger for SNES, its my retirement savings.

Also in recently played games;

Hand of Fate is fun, much better than I anticipated.

Snoopy's Grand Adventure is a super easy 930gs in 2.5 hours(just run to the end of each level)

XCom the Bureau was a decent third person shooter, the story goes(autocorrect made this goose and I really wanted to leave it) off the rails but I enjoyed it for what it is.

 
Well this is fantastic.  Open RotR to get going on it and try to get through it so I can take it to BBY tomorrow and it keeps crashing at the same spot with the same error every time I try to start a new game about five seconds in.  Reinstalled it twice now and not sure what else to do.

Well if you think about it, the Cag approach would be to not buy a lot of full priced games that don't get played. Most of the games unplayed I am sitting on were less than $5 and I can't imagine I have more free time than most, a full time job and kids allows me roughly 2 hours a night with extra time on the weekends. I just choose to game most nights rather than watch television. Speaking of which I recommend that new Netflix show Master of None it was good.

I do the same, its just a wall of digital games that have been played between 10-50% completion. My pins taunt me on the dashboard.

I love how easy everything is now with BC. I wanted to test purchasing :360: content from my :xb1: - so I bought a $2 outfit set for Stick of Truth, and it showed up immediately in the 'Manage Game' section for the game.

Unrelated, Mike Ybarra was on the most recent episode of Major Nelson Radio and said there would be no system updates until February. (They want to have a smooth holiday season.) So, we won't be able to hide demos/betas/etc from that list for a few months. Just an FYI.

I think it is since under my DLC there was no VIP pass, but when I started the game and checked DLC in game it was checked off that I owned it like the other two DLCs I owned and mp worked right away.

I'm finally getting to my original Xbox backlog. Found a component cable on Amazon and played Midway Arcade Treasures, Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast and Xyanide yesterday. Then I played Sports Jam on Dreamcast via VGA cable. That game is the Dreamcast's answer to Wario Ware.

They said something about being able to purchase the free stuff through the console eventually like the 360 can do with Xbone, but I don't think they added it yet.

Right now all the :360: games that are BC that I've looked at on the :xb1: say "Bundle Only" and there is no bundle when you go one step further, so it doesn't seem to be live yet.

 
For the 360 games, there should be 2 versions from the X1 store (on console and on the site).

If you search the game by name, there should be one that doesn't say Bundle. That one can be installed/downloaded.

I heard, during the preview that people were getting the DLC with the games for free in what was the Bundle options, so that may be why those aren't downloadable.

If you want to get the DLC, you can do from the game's DLC menu, withing the game themselves. Once in the game itself, it will load the to the 360 store form there.

Yep and this is annoying as crap. I bought Ikaruga on 360 and the full game is still on my 360, but it does not appear I the "Ready to Install" list. So I was hoping I would be able to find it and download it via the store itself. But get the "bundle only" crap.

Thanks! Decided to retest the ones that didn't work for me and Xbox Live Unplugged now worked! Bejeweled 2 and Hardwood Backgammon installed to the HDD fine. Geometry Wars is also on this disc, which I swore WAS on the BC list, I guess not yet??

Qubed works now too! Was able to install Lumines Live from it, good news if Rez/E4 get added to BC at some point as well. Though, looks like the DLC for Lumines DOES NOT come off the disc sadly :whistle2:(

Only comp disc non-working for me now, is Namco Museum, which has a few BC titles on, and quite a few more XBLA games not on the BC list, hoping they add support for it as well!

 
Saw it posted on x360a but now with the NXOE update, the Xbox One can play region-free 360 games that are backwards compatible. Since it is an achievement site, they listed the five games you can "stack" and get more achievements since it's a different list. Therefore, play these 360 region games in your Bone to get more chievos

  • Gears of War 2 / Japan
  • Just Cause 2 / Japan
  • Wolfenstein 3D / Europe

I can now download & play Fable 2 on my Xbox One (and have now done so).  I am pretty sure Fable 2 wasn't among the list of 360 digital games I own when I downloaded so many of them on Thursday; its like it just appeared - but I haven't purchased it. ....Not complaining, just confused.

I don't think it was because I don't own the game digitally (individually). I do own the game by having bought the Trilogy when it was $15 recently. Now I can't remember if I was able to download it onto my :xb1: being in this situation, I'll have to go 2x-check.

A long, long time ago, when GoD was just starting out, Fable 2 was put it. It was put up in three parts, with the first being free and the other two requiring purchase to continue the game. The "free" allowed you to play upto
the time you go to the castle and get shot
; however, through a glitch, it allowed you download the other two parts for free from within the game and continue to play. It doesn't show up in your purchase history (learned that the hard way :wall: ), but as long as you didn't delete the file, you had the full game.
