Hmm well I misread the OP and didn't realize it was just the season pass and Blackgate on sale, so here's hoping for a sale on the base game I guess. Blackgate is skipable right? What about the season pass?

Also, is it just the story that's better? What about game play? I thought it was generally regarded as the worst.

 
There is no real difference between Origins gameplay and the others. Some people said the inputs didn't register consistently but I never had a problem personally.

Origins will be $8 at Wal Mart on BF. Pick it up. If you don't like it at least you won't be out on the street with a cup in your hand.

I'm fairly sure vanilla Destiny isn't available anymore. The game, season pass and DLC was put on sale shortly before being delisted and replaced with the TTK Legendary Edition.

Blood Dragon is awesome IMO. Really cool 80s vibe with lots of tongue in cheek humor. It may actually be my favorite Far Cry (not as much content, of course).

Totally. I actually like the fact that is isn't an enormous open world. I don't think I'll ever finish fc3 or 4. There's just too much to do and I get distracted too easily. Blood dragon is perfect for what it is.

Ratings ALONE:
Arkham Asylum - 91
Arkham City - 95
Arkham Knight - 86 (Deserves MUCH higher but cause of PC problems not caused by RockSteady)
Arkham Origins - 75

Origins, while I'm not saying its a bad game, I actually throughly enjoyed it, is not on par with the other 3. It was a good story, but killed it with
giving a "definitive" Joker origin.

No.

The digital version doesn't need to have 3 copies of all the facial animations. The disc version does, which is why it's on 3 discs.

LA Noire GoD version initial download only includes 1 or 2 of the case desks. There's a separate download (which is free) that adds in the other case desks. The game informs you you'll need to download it as well to get all the case desks. You'll have to download it as well to play all the game.

That's how they get around the download file size limit / multiple discs, in Game on Demand format.

I'd love to offer an opinion about the story in Arkham Origins, but I could never finish due to Batman falling through the floor on occasion, fast travel Batwing freezing, and random save corruptions.

Actually, its a fact that those are the overall scores. So...
 
So I fire up my One and noticed a game about building bridges is on sale. First thought that popped up was "WTH!" But after spending 30m watching someone on Twitch play, I am incredibly tempted to purchase. Any thoughts from anyone who has played it?
 
^ I have played a bit of Bridge Constructor on XB1. Fun little game - best played in short bursts. The physics are hilarious when you mess up your bridge. Shit goes flying.

Scores include story into the overall experience. Read a review once in a while. Also, those are the overall Metacritic scores. So, while I severely doubt RockSteady has the money to buy out all reviewers, the fact is, its ranked lower. You can also consult user scores as well.

I think the major point of argument is that scores are numeric expressions of opinions, not an objective "Game Value" system.
