bunch of suck and repeats... GTA IV and DLC, GTA V, GTASA, Sacred 3, Risen 3, P4AU, Escape Dead Island, all but the previous GTA games at laughably low markdowns.

Guess that means I can safely go back and pick up Joe Danger 2 since there'll be nothing else to spend my monies on in the near future. Way to suck it up again M$.

Some of the "retail" prices are obscene. Persona 4 Ultimax "Gold exclusive" $49.99--> $35.99?!?!!

It's $28.90 on Amazon.

On that note, I'm surprised all of these deals are Gold Exclusive. Usually they have some that are available to Silver members.

It feels like the only DLC that goes on sale is Rockstar stuff (that most people have definitely bought by now) or jewelry in basketball games (that no one with any form of dignity would buy).

I don't ever expect Games with Gold to have DLC sales, as I understand the publisher is try to make profit on that content for a free game, but there are hundreds of games with numerous DLCs that seem to never go on sale. If only they had an option on the marketplace where we could hit a button to show interest in a DLC (like a price tracking button), and that would somehow encourage that DLC to have a sale, or even be reduced in price.

If only DLCs more commonly had permanent price drops like some actual games do.

Damn. The Microsoft Publisher sale is looking pretty good now by comparison. Bought both Toy Soldiers games since they got good reviews. Still on the fence about A Kingdom for Keflings, Forza Horizon, Trials Evolution and Zoo Tycoon. Halo Wars and Portal: Still Alive looked boring as hell on the Gamespot and IGN reviews. Any thoughts?
 
Goddamn you, Blizzard... It's looking more and more likely that I really am going to play through getting 6 characters to level 70 just to see what kind of crazy shot I can find. Diablo is every bit as addicting now as it was 10 years ago on PC...

Unfortunately if such a interest selection option were to be, we'd probably end up with GTA, COD, and sports game DLC. Which is pretty much how it is now.

I actually own The Orange Box, but they say that Portal: Still Alive is the definitive version of Portal. Should I still bother?

I do this every Date Night when I know the upcoming week's sale are gonna suck. I treat Xbox Live like it's a fire sale so that I don't regret that I didn't buy more games when they were on sale.
 
With the sales lacking in the last two months or so now, for once I'm strangely looking forward to Games with Gold next month. It's a weird, weird feeling. Also it's a reminder that I should take this time to work on my backlog as opposed to doing whatever it is I'm doing now...

Cant they at least put very old tiyles on sale or price drops? Some games on the marketplace are still way overpriced for their value. I'm looking at games that came out 2010 below. What a disappointment but then again what's new with these Rockstar sales.

You can, just choose your card for checkout and it will ask if you want to apply your credit to the purchase. Only works on the console, not on their website.

 
OMG! A whole 50 cents off GTA 5. Thanks Rockstar for ruining this week.

This week's sale would actually be the first time I am disappointed.

It would be nice if MS would AT LEAST throw in a few extra, non-publisher related sales each week to keep things lively when the inevitable Rockstar sales come up.
 
I get angry at crappy sales.  At the same time, my Xbox has about 5 games queued up ready to download but can't because my hard drive has no space.  So if anything, perhaps I should be grateful for the down weeks. 

 
I just hope there is a good spring/ summer sale. I haven't made a Xbox live download since last year. I get better deals on these games on disk then I do off the marketplace.
 
Destiny and GTA are not games to be compared.

And both have their faults. And if not counting GTA Online... There are very few faults in GTA. Its basically server issues that hurt the game at times.

Destiny is cool for awhile... Then everything is repetitive.
 
GTA V single player has faults too (even if you didn't personally experience them), and you can't say GTA doesn't get repetitive either. Grinding as the developers way to get you to keep playing the game is becoming more and more common.

MOBA players love it, are they faulty too?

 
How long are sales typically? I was thinking of getting Tomb Raider and was about to get it now and seeing it back to 40.

I saw it the last few days and out sick and didnt want to bother grabbing my wallet.
