Lame. Still basically right about them running low on current properties, but that's disappointing. I hope the base game is the cool LEGO mish-mosh I'm hoping for, with locked content only being limited to playable characters.

Makes me want to go back and finish black ops 2, haha. I finished ghost and advanced warfare but was burned out after black ops and modern warfare 3 so I never finished black ops 2.

I'd argue that they aren't starting to run low. They have too many left so instead of making a whole game for each one, they are putting a bunch of them into one game.

I like the idea of putting multiple properties into one game. I enjoyed the LOTR games because I'm a fan of LOTR, but found some of the others to be very boring because I don't know much about the lore (Harry Potter, Batman, and a few others). By having only a few levels from a bunch of genres, the game will appeal to more casual fans, such as myself. Would lose some charm for more hardcore fans though. For example LOTR has a lot of little easter eggs/jokes that you might not notice/understand if you didn't read the books/play the MMO.

I've resisted toy-game for a long time, but this one might bring me in.

Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of having multiple properties in one game too, but I don't think any of these properties alone would have been able to support an entire game like Batman or Marvel or Harry Potter or Star Wars or Lord of the Rings can (I guess maybe Back to the Future, maybe). Not enough mythos to draw on. That's what I mean, LEGO is running low on current big-budget book/movie series to adapt. Luckily this year brings an excuse for a JP LEGO game (a series spanning four movies now), but are there any other big series receiving an installment this year?

Fast and the Furious is the only one I can think of. What else could they use? Hunger Games? The Divergent series? The Maze Runner series?

The Disney universe would make for a decent LEGO series though.

Edit: Found three examples myself, Star Wars (not sure they'd make another SW game so soon), Mad Max (not sure if it'd fit the LEGO demo) and Terminator.

Guess Terminator would work.

I loved black ops I and II but I was kinda hoping they were doing a sequel to world at war.

Either way it will be nothing like Ghosts, Treyarch is behind it and I feel they've done the best duty games in the series. They do an amazing job at balancing the multiplayer and put together some great stories.

 
Kalimba and Golf Club looking to be buys for me so far. Wondering if that'll be it or if they're slowly trickling in. The latter is most intriguing, just because $40 was outrageous for it, but just a tad over $10? Why not.

Edit: Just bought both of them. In the process of downloading them now. Looking to stream in half an hour or so as well if anyone has a preference on seeing either game in action.

At the least, they're highly unlikely to repeat Disney's fatal mistake of limiting each character to their own IP's levels. Given that creative mixing and matching was like the whole point of the Lego Movie. And the slogan of the game is #BreaktheRules. So I'm not too worried.

 
Holy fuck at that Golf Club price. I was holding off for a better price on the PS4(version, but I just might bite here.

Does it perform well on X1, or is it inferior to the PS4 version? I appreciate any info someone familiar with this version can share.

Will also get Kalimba despite never hearing of it and will look into Risk-- I love the board game and enjoyed Factions. Ubisoft could have done goofed this one though.

Edit: it seems as if the XBO version of TGC performs significantly worse than the PS4 one. I am wondering if the devs intend on utilizing the SDK update to yield a better resolution. I normally wouldn't care too much, but this game seems to suffer particularly poor graphical deterioration with the lower res as seen on YouTube vids/ noted on the game's forums.

I'll flip a coin to decide on buying it, unlesss someone wants to chime in and ease my concerns.

As for Gears of War Judgement, they extended the daily ribbon ID change on the special events again at least to 4/23 this month..this will get me to 27/30 ribbons for the War Supporter Achievement assuming I will take part every day...missed some of the first days.

i regret buying it at full price (i bought it day 1). i wish i would have just waited for pga tour from ea. but this sale price is worth it.

I've heard nothing but bad things about golf club. Not sure it's a buy at any price for me.

Just a word on RBI 15, wait on a steep discount. I didn't buy into 14 but I was craving baseball and it doesn't deliver. Even if you like arcade over sim, the minimal pitching options, way starters quickly degrade, rubberband ai, makes it a budget title that probably won't see discounts for a long time due to its close association with the league.

How do I already have NHL 15 downloaded via EA ACCESS? I don't have gigabytes of activity today.... AND I haven't downloaded anything since I got it for the Battlefield preview and downloaded everything available. Was it actually available back then?

Is Golf Club better than Powerstar Golf on Xbox One? I already bought Powerstar last year when it was on sale. Does Golf Club = PGA Tour and Powerstar = Hot Shots Golf? Sorry, couldn't come up with a better analogy.

Also, I have seen the words 2 TB drive used on the thread's last few pages in relation to the Xbox 360. Is Microsoft planning to release an internal drive of that size or will we be able to hook up a compatible external drive? I'm afraid of running low on space.

We will be able to use external Hardrives (and USB Sticks) up to 2TB with the new update, if you are in the preview program you are able to use it right now, if not the next official update will make it happen for all.

Lego Dimensions announcement - Was that Back to the Future I saw in there?  That's cool, but I like the Fast and the Furious and Terminator suggestions posted earlier.    It has Batman in it, so I'm in.

Now where's Lego Simpsons?

Xbox hard drive upgrade annoucement  -    Sweet, but not interested.  I'd rather have something that high for Xbox One.  If anything, it's a sign for me to go through the backlog and free up some space. Maybe get a flash drive and transfer some videos as well.

Weekend sales - LOL @ Peggle.  Zuma is the only game there I'm interested in, but I already own it so it's a pass (unless something else drops).

Looks like your characters and items from the X360 version of Happy Wars gets transferred over to the X1 version. Also a bunch of achievements unlocked as soon as I got to the main menu.
