my bad realize I got carried away yest. I was in PMS mode. I was always told not to apologize with a "but" so I'll just say Xbox was number 1 last month so technically it is no 1. :p

Definitely worth getting. Firefight is fun - as long as you have the right group of people - and the campaign is one of the best in the series.

lol the struggle is real. And as silly as this sounds.. saying "Xbox On" and having it ready to go without needing to boot up is a MAJOR advantage for me. I hate loading up my 360 now. It's kind of a hassle. I'll do it for a great free game though.

I had to turn that off. Between the XB1 turning itself on whenever a game commercial ended with an announcer saying "Xbox One" and the fast boot causing NAT issues because an XB1 and 360 are on the same network, the wait for the full boot is less of an inconvenience.

It would be super cool for 2 reasons. 1 - free Gears. 2 - seeing how Sony would try to top that during their conference. I'm waiting for an E3 where MS delays their conference at the last minute and says they're going a day later, just to mess with Sony's attempts to top them / capitalize on immediate negative reactions. Sony did it to Sega with the Saturn / PS1 announcements, and then 2 straight years with XB1 vs. PS4. I don't remember if it happened during the build up to the Dreamcast / PS2 launches (at least at E3), but I wouldn't be surprised if some Google searches turned up some examples. Sony didn't feel like they needed to during the 360 / PS3 build up, they were too cocky coming off the prior generations and it showed.

 
I don't own either of the June GwG and I have a Thief guide from Toys R Us that cost me just one shiny portrait of Abraham Lincoln's head, so ... okay, I'm still pissed that I forgot to download Mafia II earlier this month.

I was thinking more stuff was in the deal than the rumor said to make it worth billions. Could also be not Xbox One exclusive, but also Windows 10. I'll hold out hope, especially with completely unrelated ODST rumor only being off by a few hours after we were told that it was wrong.

I would not risk my points on some clueless chat agent's word, nor would I count on a clueless agent's word getting my credit back. As much as I hate what Microsoft is doing, I can't pretend that I haven't known about it for some time. And it is certainly going to happen, you can count on that. I think Kotaku even did a story on it, so there has been plenty of time for Microsoft to either clarify or for someone else to officially discover otherwise. Spend your points, people.

Finally got the achievement yesterday. Of course I bought the game over a year ago and wasn't religious about it until the last few months. Happy it's done. Now just need to get the king foot one but I need a second controller for that.

yea but i kinda forgot about it until the middle of this month. Theres realy nothing i want. Ill spend like $10 on a name change maybe and a few bucks on some indeis but i dont see anything to blow my $65 on and i really shouldn't have to. They are basically just stealing my money. I dont care about their points to $ conversion thing. That was their choice. I still payed cash for those points, dollars, whatever you want to call them.

Still though, if i have a refrence number and a log of a CS rep telling me i keep them, ten it doesn't matter if they're wrong. They have to honor it

 
The store changes on Monday.

MS also uses GMT so all that credit may expire at 12:00 AM GMT June 1 which would still be May 31 here. Aka don't leave it until the last minute.

I have only played like 30 minutes, but it is pretty good so far. If you haven't played The Assignment or The Consequence, I would highly recommend checking them out, because they answer a lot of questions about the plot of the main game.

Yea I had my fingers crossed that it would show up on this past date night, but that didn't happen. Im still doing the campaign, it's lengthy like Alien so I play for a few days then take a break.

 
Yea... so did the chat thing and got a CS rep that seemed to know what they were talking about (surprise!) linked me to that xbox support points to cash thing and said they are in fact expiring on the 1st... so yea. MS just steals your money i guess. Though after i complained he changed his story and said they should just be replaced. So who the hell knows. 

I dont want to sound like a Sony Fanboy but MS has been really trying hard to piss off its customers. I never got an Xbone because of the BS they tried pulling around launch. Sony has way better sales and has never tried to just steal my account balance.  Sony keeps gaining favor and MS keeps losing it. Which is funny because last generation i definitely liked MS better than Sony. Ms has been just fumbling non stop this generation though. 

*sigh* what the hell am I going to spend $65 on tonight for the 360. I guess I may just keep the money and just use the reference number and chat log to get it back when/if they screw me. Anyone else who doesn't want to spend their money on these crap sales may want to contact them tonight and get a ref number and chat log. Because im sure without it you'll just lose your money and be out of luck.

pisses me off that the cutoff for ODST was before Christmas since i bought it for my son and wrapped it up in Nov and decided against unwrapping it and installing it after they announced that you would get ODST free smh.

The bigger problem is that it was an apology and compensation for the game not working correctly. Over 6 months later and people are still having issues with it, yet they want those same new people to pay more for the game.
 
I still can't believe people are complaining about the points expiring. You have had plenty of time to use them. It isn't like they just gave you a weeks notice. Then again, people will find anything to complain about, so I guess I am not surprised.

You insensitive bastard. Dont you know points are only meant for buying 95% off stuff. My heart weeps for these poor OCD hoarders. I mean using them to buy lets see... Anything just seems wrong when they look so shiny.
