I was planning on playing the next borderlands games solo as I did the first one but have heard that they are way worse solo, I had no problems playing 1 solo, are the sequels  actually worse solo?

I had no problems playing the first and second Borderlands games solo. The raid bosses would be an issue, but if you don't care about those, then there's nothing else that's bad at all. (Though I did solo Terramorphous with my Siren once legit, and once back when the Evil Smasher glitch was a thing.)

I've played through all three Borderlands and all of their story DLC solo and it's one of my favorite series ever.

I did 2 solo with no real issues. It scales pretty well. I will say that series is a lot more fun with other people though!

Raid bosses will be tough, but possible with exploits. However they are completely optional unless you want all the achievements.
 
Thanks for all the feedback, I could have sworn I read somewhere that 2 was almost unplayable solo, looks like I have a lot more borderlands ahead of me.

 
Seems that link worked, looks like some decent deals there although it would be nice if they updated with some Xbox one codes. .  I will be bookmaking this time.

 
I'm nearly through with BL2 solo, haven't had any problems with difficulty. I imagine it's like Diablo being more fun with friends, but I'm pretty happy on my own.

And she's up to 55 now on frozen.

I recently stumbled across a fan made companion app for Elder Scrolls Online. You go to the app via Internet Explorer app on Xbox One then snap it. The app runs in the browser and is customized to work with an Xbox controller. Here is the app if you'd like to try it out (don't need to ESO to use it) http://eso.bl4cksh33p.de/ Go to that link from your web browser on Xbox to start the app. Unfortunately this one is incomplete and missing a lot of content.

Is this a thing that people do? Are there other apps that I don't know about? Is there a whole underground app marketplace for Xbox One games??!?
 
How does the whole LEGO dimensions thing work? I've never played Skylanders or Disney Infinity. Is there some special barcode, chip or something on the bottom of the bases of the toys that triggers some some extra level or character add-on in the game?

Would you we able to borrow or trade toys from others to unlock those levels or characters? Also, do you need to have those special toys in place to play those extra levels or characters or do they unlock after the first time and you can continue to play without them.

I'm most interested in Back to the Future. I was really hoping they would make an actual LEGO BTTF game.

Yeah... I'll be waiting and buying a code a month after release. These will be dirt cheap.

I'd actually spend $30 on a code. I don't think I'll have to wait very long for them to show up for $30.

They will have a nfc chip which the base will read, each figure or chip will have a unique code so I'm not sure how it works if borrowing from a friend etc, with infinity you can bring a figure to a friends and use as a guest or share ownership to unlock toys etc. not sure about dimensions though
 
Ok, so in all honesty, is Alien a good deal at this price? I'm a big fan of the older movies, but haven't even tried the game yet. Very interested in it, just wondering the likelihood of it dropping to $10 somewhere in the very near future.

It will probably be $10-$15 Black Friday. The price is fair now, but will be better if you can wait a bit.

Tony Hawk didn't look as bad as I was expecting on Conan. With low expectations going in, I think ill enjoy the game. I hope American Wasteland becomes backwards compatible just in case the new one is worse than my worse expectations.
 
i have alien on disc even though most of my x1 collection is digital download. i figure it's a game i will play through once and never have the time to play again,  so why make it a permanent buy when i can sell the disc when i am done?

I'm still working my way through Just Cause 2. I think this game is the definition of artificially lengthening a game, with all the settlements and crap to find.
