Nothing for me this week.  That made me decide to go ahead and pull the trigger on the first two seasons of The Pinball Arcade.  I loved the collection on the 360 and this looks much improved. 

 
StoreParser is picking up stuff on the 360.  Similar Lego and Middle-earth, Arkham stuff, Injustice, Behemoth.  I'll wait to update the OP once XBLDB picks it up with the copy / paste BBCode.

I think you're comparing the wrong prices. Lego appears to have both Gold and Silver discounts this week, at least on the 360. Lego Jurassic is 20% off Silver, 25% off Gold. Though I can't remember off the top of my head if they've ever had just a 5% difference between Silver and Gold discounts in the past.

Stay away from previous gen versions. I ignored reviews and got it for ps3 and it was a steaming heap of awful. I could live w/ dumbed down AI and not having realtime background power struggles, but the constant loading and the impromptu cutscene garbage mess were too much to enjoy the game. Every time you open or switch menu tabs it is literally 45 sec - a min of loading, want to look at captain strengths and then see them on the map? Have fun waiting. The pre rendered cutscenes were fine, but in orc fights they have a little taunting scene that would jerk all around and their mouths moved like a 70s kung fu movie. Do not buy.

Come on Horizon 2 for $20! Still kicking myself for passing on the free F&F standalone dlc, $5 of discounted credit isn't so bad though. I remember seeing it free and thinking it was some dumb app that played the movie and had links and banners and crap to buy more stuff.

Some people thumbs down the dlc because it's in new areas and I guess doesn't have the same depth to the nemesis system. I just got the vanilla version, but am on the fence about the season pass sale. If you liked the campaign it's just more of the same, right?

Just a friendly heads up gents, the dlc for Mordor is perhaps the absolute worst add-on content ever spawned. Both packs are absolutely awful.

I will be on my death bed, and still regret buying that damn season pass.

It is, but it's more of what was awful in the main game. Instead of expanding upon the nemesis system, they only added more main quests, which were the worst part of the base game to begin with.

The first DLC about hunting the wild animals was pretty weak.  It was good for extra achievements but I was bored throughout the story.

The second DLC with one of the main characters was better but kind of a letdown. The ending to it was real good but everything inbetween just felt like it should have been so much more epic.

I'd say get the GOTY edition just for a few bucks more though, no point in getting the vanilla version with such a small gap in price difference.

Ok, that's kinda what I was thinking. For $4 more it's not so bad, but if you already have the base game it's not worth $12-16 to add on or double dip. What about cheevo hunters? I'm not one and wouldn't think it was worth it, if it even lets you double achievements.

I dunno what it is about this date night, but I've been antsy all day and I'm still jacked up hoping for a serious discount on Horizon 2. I played the first one and liked it ok, but 360 had stiffer competition from other racing games that kept my attention away. Xbone doesn't have much for burnout style arcade racers, what with Rivals being such a mess, so maybe now Horizon will grab my attention. Sim racers just prove to me the dangers of driving drunk/too stoned. :)

Wish some the car packs that are not apart of the FH2 car pack would go on sale.

H2F&F is really a glorified demo you can beat in two hours, maybe longer depending on your arcade racing skill level/difficulty you play it on. It's just as fun as the main game which is an amazingly fun game, Luda does voice work, there are a few mentions or nods to the characters and at least one creatively cool race, but it should be $5 usual price at most. Plus, it only unlocks one car in the main game. If you want to use those cars in the main game, you have to buy the F&F car pack which is not included in the car pass.

I wouldn't call FH1 or 2 a sim racer...They have sim racer roots as far as road contact goes and it definitely is not a "burnout" style game, but I think it's pretty relaxed from sim levels. FH2 moreso as a lot of racing goes off road, where FH1 didn't let you go far off road in a lot of cases, especially in the Storm Island expansion where there are some MASSIVE jumps in races.

Ok guys here's the break down on shadow of morder.


It's assassins Creed with lotr skins. That's about it.... The nemisis system is cool but after killing about 120 orcs it becomes stale. Basically it's cool but gets old. I got half way through and just started running around killing the orcs. They really didn't pose much treat any more and I got bored with it and put it up. Maybe one day I'll break it out if the endless backlog.

It's a fun game. It's like an advertisement for Furious 7 but still keeps all the Forza bits. The cars drive awesome, the location is the same as Horizon 2 and the whole look is very similar. Luda does the voice now, and you get to race in the iconic cars (Dom's Charger, Paul's Supra, etc.). If you're a fan of the movies, $5 is a very good price for this game. Also, it's an easy 1000G!

It's assassins Creed with lotr skins. That's about it.... The nemisis system is cool but after killing about 120 orcs it becomes stale. Basically it's cool but gets old. I got half way through and just started running around killing the orcs. They really didn't pose much treat any more and I got bored with it and put it up. Maybe one day I'll break it out if the endless backlog.

The bosses were pretty fun too. I beat the game and I highly recommend it, although I heard the dlc is meh.

I wouldn't call FH1 or 2 a sim racer...They have sim racer roots as far as road contact goes and it definitely is not a "burnout" style game, but I think it's pretty relaxed from sim levels. FH2 moreso as a lot of racing goes off road, where FH1 didn't let you go far off road in a lot of cases, especially in the Storm Island expansion where there are some MASSIVE jumps in races.

Right, that's what I meant. Horizons is like the Forza version of an arcade racer, and I liked it but was just more interested in Hot Pursuit and Paradise. For xbone offerings, Horizon 2 sounds like the best fit for an arcadish racer w/ some depth. The upcoming N4S I don't have much confidence in, but that may be something else I'd enjoy. It's a shame Rivals is such a mess, it was certainly a factor in my picking up Access. :/
 
Anyone play the Telltale Back to the Future game? It's up for pre order and I generally like Telltale games. Just wondering if this ones any good
