One thing thats sucks about the xbox marketplace is that we dont get the "flash" like sales sony users get . I'd be buying lots more games to add to the backlog if they did them.

Did we ever figure out why the Mega Man Legacy collection is so much cheaper on the console ($15) than on disk ($30)?  It's almost go-time for its release so I'd like to get some clarity.

My xbl gold is expiring soon. I'm really on the fence about renewing since I don't play anything online multiplayer and though I've enjoyed the free sidescrollers and mainly 360 games, I don't really know if the free games are all that great. Plus, I never buy digital copies of games due to no resale value.

Unless I can find xbl gold 12 months for $30 again, not sure it's worth it to me.

Soooo... anyone else notice how dead in-game chat is?  I remember back in the Halo3/ MW 1&2 days, there would always be caht and you had to mute some people.  I seriously can't remember the last game I played now where I heard someone's voice

Whenever I play Halo 5 there's ALWAYS one guy with a mic and a tv so loud I hear it too.
 
Anyone have a spare golden crisp code i may have?at time of promotion i did not have an xbox1 so i didn't care enough to try to get them.Now that i have an xbox1 i need cant seem to find them.

I just finished Life is Strange, and that's about how I felt by the end of it. Didn't really get attached to the characters. Not a bad game or anything, but didn't really click with me.

Thats how I feel too. I played the first chapter. I really hate the characters in it so far. It is as if a 14 year old wrote the dialogue. Maybe if they all die in the end that is what makes it so good?

You say that like it's a bad thing... I somehow have it so I never hear anyone on Xbox and I love it. I don't know why it's like that but I wish I could do the same on PSN because it gets old muting everyone in game lobbies. I don't want to hear some idiot's crying child in the background or muffled rap music playing while I'm trying to concentrate. One guy yesterday during an R6 game was yelling to his mother in the background. Turn off your mic first? Lol

Glad to hear there are some other people who don't like Life is Strange. I couldn't stand that game. I eventually forced myself to finish it because I though it would get better. Episode five is significantly better than the rest of the series, but it's still not great. Here's a few of my thoughts.

1. The dialogue is like totally hella the worst bros.

2. Life is Strange tackles some really serious stuff that it has no right to be anywhere near. The tone is just so wrong. One moment we are terrified to be trespassing, the next we are skinny dipping in the pool. I love to see games tackle subjects that are often avoided, such as Gone Home but Life is Strange doesn't do it well.

3. Minus a few, the characters are impressively flat. I can't tell you one thing about Max other than she likes to take pictures. What are her motivations, personality traits? It's not like having a silent protagonist either. It's like they couldn't decide between the two and just left her boring.

4. Bad gameplay mechanics. You expect me to run around and collect five bottles in this junkyard. What? Is this an MMO quest?

The whole time I was playing Life is Strange, I felt like I should be enjoying it, but I wasn't. Despite everything, I kinda found the game boring. I kept waiting for the game to do something interesting.

Edit: Not to take away from people who enjoyed it. I am glad some people liked it more than me. I just don't understand the appeal.

I say It's a good thing. But do you remember the time in Dark Souls when you couldn't be in a party chat because Namco didn't want anyone to co-op the game with ease. Now Bloodborne and Dark Souls 2 (and DS3 in the future) have all these co-op features...

I totally agree with you on everything. Life is strange is literally a "strange" game. Im only a little bit through episode 1 but already I can tell somethings not quite right with this game. I feel compelled to keep playing but I can't help but cringe everytime anyone speaks. Like, omg, seriously, people like totally don't talk like this. It's annoying. It's almost as if a bunch of 40 year olds sat down and tried to decide how to make this game as angst-ridden and "teenage" as possible. I can understand where they were trying to go, the story they are trying to tell, and why some people really like this game but I think it requires you to be in the proper mindset to enjoy it. If you can't stand overly exaggerated teen drama than this will never be a good game for you no matter how many people rave about it. If you can overlook that though, there is defintly some enjoyment to be had.

I don't agree but that's fine, not everything is for everyone.

1. I found the dialog to be fine and fit each character. Bitchy girl in high school, drifter in the rv/diner, parents being parents, teacher as a teacher.

2. Isn't this adolescence? A mixture of should I/shouldn't I and then trying and enjoying or failing? Thought the experiences were captured well.

3. I'm not sure you're paying attention to Max. She's back in her old town of 5 years minus parents, talented photographer but disconnected to the contests and world around her. She's not the coolest but not the biggest nerd, she has a heart for others, perhaps a confused sexuality, she avoided her old life long buddy when she returns but why, is she beyond where they were or why.

4. The bottles were annoying but I wouldn't classify gameplay mechanics as bad. I liked exploring and manipulating time and found the adventure/text based part of the game to be well done.

Obviously I enjoyed it, I bought into the characters and setting and had a great experience but it's fine if others don't I just felt the generalization of gameplay, chapter style and depth needed a counterpoint.

Dude, nobody is using it on XBL Gold. So saving 28% off a $25 XBL card is not a deal? or stacking it on top of sales they have? like last Black Friday? I think I was so let down by this game from all the people saying this is a personal GOTY. For a story-based game, there was practically nothing there. What part of the ending was so shocking?

As much as I am happy that others are speaking up about being disappointed by this game, I would honestly like to know who would ever like Chloe? I think you are SUPPOSED to like her by the end, but the writing is so atrocious that I ended up loathing her more than any video game character. Probably amplified by the fact that I spent the entire ten gameplay hours listening to her terrible dialogue and saving her countless times because she is completely oblivious to the outside world.

I can understand why others might like this game, maybe even like Chloe because they think she is hot or she reminds them of a long-lost friend from their youth. I just disagree, and I wish I'd seen these comments before I started playing the game.
