If you don't see it as an option at checkout then that means you have $6.63 accumulated so far which will unlock a certificate to be used in April.

 
Hand of Fate is as fun as Zheros was bad. DLC included as well it seems.

I initially typed Hand of Date, which is something else entirely.

Is this just adding more cars to drive? Adding more cars to a driving game that already has so many almost feels like just adding new skins to any other game. Clearly I'm not a driving game aficionado (or a car lover)...

It's letting me hit that button or use the code it sent, but all my purchases don't qualify. I'm just going to bounce around a few more options until something hopefully works. It expires tomorrow. I think it's because I'm trying to get something fairly cheap to avoid spending much real money, and the sellers there just don't allow it for payment.

Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. You have to log in with Paypal before it will recognize your certificate.

Anyone that has bought Tekken Tag Tournament 2 on the 360 digitally can try out these steps to play it on the XBox One:

1) Follow Hes Pro

2) Look at his follower/following list

3) Find Tekken Tag Tournament 2. There will be two listings. The one with the 360 on the left side of the box is the xbox one version

4) Launch/open the followed named Tekken Tag Tournament 2

5) Go to the game store from there

6) Install Tekken Tag 2. Enjoy. It's a little over 8gigs.

First impressions: Game runs about the same as the 360. No input lag and is a solid 60fps.

Q: Why isn't this game backwards officially yet?

A: (redacted Tekken Tunes DLC) Looks like slight pauses when tagging in people at certain times, minor performance dips on cutscenes. Rare moments of slowdowns. It feeled fine to me but maybe It's not 100% up to far for fighting game standards. I have no idea TBH.

This is also apparently how people are spotting games that are going to be BC or not. 360 games that work on the X1 have the 360 logo on the left side of the icon, where as non-BC titles are at the top. BLOPS1 and Modern Warfare 3 showed the side logo way before they were seen being tested. So if you follow someone and notice a logo on the side theres a chance the game will most likely be going BC and/or is in testing right now. If I could only follow the right people who are testing these games...

It feeled fine to me too!

I would rather just wait until these games are officially BC. I have already played them so there is no rush there. And once they are finalized you will just have to re-download and install again anyways.

For those who dont care about that and just want them ASAP, this is a good tip. Thanks.

 
Played hand of fate last night and I really like it. It's a fun little game. The fighting is decent and has some cool effects. It's mostly a card game of chance but also has rpg  elements. 

 
Bought Hand of Fate when it was first released. As you progressed further in the game the battles would suffer from massive frame rate issues that made it unplayable. Not sure if it's been fixed.

Yeesh. That's too bad. I didn't run into that issue on the PC. Hoping they have fixed it on the One as I'd like to finish it there.

In-game it talked twice about DLC now being available and then presenting me with what they were describing. I'll have to go back in later and look through the menus to see if the other things are there. According to Steam, which is the most description I've found, it's -

9 new Fates for players : Shadow Agent, Iron Hunger, Nomad, Curse of the Lion Prince, Explorer's Gift, Merchant's Guard, Hoarder's Desire, Monk, Soldier's Training.

- 9 new Encounter chains.
- 9 new Items

Which I do remember Iron Hunger and Nomad being choices. So it would be baked in. That is weird that it still shows as a separate item.

Yeah, that's a pretty sad reward considering it takes 25,000 to get $25 (a little less for a pre-owned cert.). Are they even trying to compete?

They're in my game too, but if I select any of them, it takes me to the store to buy them for $5. That's pretty cool if you got them free.


On another note, there should get a word for the anxiety you feel when you see your available storage is at 97%. I'm sure the Germans have a word for it. I finally bit the bullet and bought a 4tb external, giving me 5.5 tb total.

Am I the only one that feels a huge sense of relief when that 97% drops to 37% and I don't have any more deleted games from having to make room?

Not quite so bad for me, but I'm ~85% of ~3 TB full and I show no signs of stopping. I'm about to do an experiment to see if I can involve my NAS in this somehow...

I have a feeling the DLC isn't free, as it fits into games that go GWG's tactic of having a $5 DLC in the hopes they'll make a little extra money after going free.

So Many Me did this, Knight Squad did this, and I'm sure there's some other games.

The trend in this thread is to put all of it into Xbox Live credit and then proceed to never spend it until just before it's set to expire.

 
Damn you MS for not letting us use credit for 360 games. I wanted to buy spacebucks on Amazon for Farcry3, instead have to pay full price.

We "know" FC3 should be going BC, what do we think about Blood Dragon? I'd buy it again if it was.

Seconded the Elite. It makes the XB1 feel like a whole different (better) experience. The paddles are useful in some games, less so in others, but OH MY GOD the build quality and the sticks and the triggers are just leaps and bounds better than the standard XB1 controller. MS should do whatever they can to just replicate that in the base, drop all the customizability & the paddles to get the price point down & shove those in the box as the default, because it makes literally everything about the XB1 feel significantly better.
