I am more curious than ever with what Bethesda is going to show at their E3 press event this year.

Doing the math, they have now revealed $40 worth of DLC content of their suggested $60 value - and that revealed content is supposed to be out before E3. So that means we're left with - probably - a $20 piece of DLC story to show.

The remaining Fallout 4 DLC shouldn't take too long to demo, right? And Doom will already be released. One suspects they probably show a lot of Dishonored 2. Maybe they will give more time to the Elder Scrolls Online than they did in the 2015 show. But none of that is adding up to 60 minutes, let alone a possible 90 minutes.

So we're probably going to see the remaining time filled with some fun reveals. The safe bets would be an existing franchise or two from studios that have worked on the properties previously: a new Wolfenstein, maybe Evil Within 2....?

Hopefully there's another trick up their sleeve. ....Hey, the possibility seems more likely than it did 24 hours ago. :)

 
Looks like I'll be getting Fallout 4 season pass...when the complete edition comes out with all content included because fuuuuck that shit.

A Wolfenstein sequel was leaked by a voice actor a couple months back. I haven't heard shit on Mikami, but maybe a new Evil Within. I think there will be another batch of DLCs for Fallout announced. Small, medium, and large like these. Doom probably could get DLC or something like Old Blood announced, probably depends how big the sales are.

Looks like the combination of SW Battlefront Season Pass price of $50 without even really having an idea of what was going to be in it, and the acceptance of Dying Light raising their Season Pass price has set a HORRIBLE PRECIDENCE in what appears to be a new trend that does NOT make me happy.

I still find it so ironic how a few years ago everyone hated Best Buy and their attitude towards CAGs as "devil customers". And now they've become CAGs favorite B&M. Don't get me wrong, GCU in particular is pretty awesome. Just interesting.

Same with me. Took me 8 hours to download both in standby mode over Sunday night. Painfully slow.

Disappointed to see that this version is a bit behind the others.

Edit: Wow. Because the DLC is included in the base game, there's only 1000 points available and it's missing about 11 of the trophies/achievements from the other versions. Xbox One vs PS4. Updated Review: -5/10

It was 1 year ago today for the "Ultimate Game Sale" and the $9 Lords of the Fallen that I'm still salty over wasting my money.

Rocket League is fun, got some CAG team-up action going. The total random nature of the unlocks is both great and annoying. I have Gears hubcaps and a rocket trail, among other stuff.

So I hate to be that guy but after playing Bloodborne I may have to skip Dark Souls and just get DSII on the X1 or PS4.  The graphics and performance of the original DS is pretty bad.  I highly doubt it will run any better when it gets BC on the X1 either.

IMO, we'd be looking at a Borderlands 2 situation where there's some DLC released outside the pass or a Mortal Kombat situation in which a second pass is released (though, granted, at least both passes spelled out what you were getting). At least, in the case of Dying Light and Fallout 4, they planned/had in mind a certain amount of DLC and then either the DLC was 'bigger/more expensive' to produce or they decided to make more of it and include it in the Season Pass (for the original SP price, with notice given!) vs. release it standalone outside the pass. I'd rather them underestimate the DLC vs. overestimate (which, I would argue, Arkham Knight did). I still think it's doing right by fans to give everyone a notice that the SP is increasing - it's not been done by surprise. They could've just jacked up the SP price and then made the announcement.

The whole concept of pre-purchasing content for unknown content in a Season Pass still irks me a bit, but that's the model several developers seem to have embraced. However, to my knowledge, no one is forcing anyone to buy a SP, nor is it the only way to acquire the base game.

I'm always curious about this. How can excessive praise ruin the experience of playing a game? The game is still what it is, whether other people love it or hate it. I mean, I get that more hype equals higher expectations and a chance for disappointment, but to say that all the praise can ruin an otherwise good game? I don't get it, personally.

I agree. I waited to get the SP and now I know what the first three DLCs will be and I have two weeks to still decide whether to buy it at the lower price. No one was forced to do otherwise and there was literally no incentive to do so. Same with Arkham Knight. Why buy the SP on day one when you don't need to whatsoever? Just wait to get it; especially when the DLC isn't out yet, anyway.

I'm not saying they ruined the game, but they ruined the expectations by over-hyping it when it's "just" a really fun game.

The game is good and I don't regret the purchase (it's also a great couch split-screen coop game for when I have friends at home) but I was sick of fanboys saying it was GOTY material in the year of Witcher 3, MGS V, Halo 5, RotTR, Bloodborne, Splatoon, just to name a few.

Eh, Fallout 4 pretty much was exactly what I expected once we knew about voiced protagonists. I'd still consider it a decent step up from 3, though it didn't take down New Vegas for me, other than better gunplay.

I'm just hoping some of the bigger mods will be feasible for consoles. I'm sure the Full Dialogue descriptions will be there day one. If that, a "mute the player character" mod, and an alternate start mod come than that would probably alleviate some of my role playing gripes.

The whole modding plan is what I really want to hear next. There are so many ways I can see it being deeply flawed. I'm curious if and how much they will hold back stuff similar to actual DLC. Like their has already been a craftable robot companions mod, tamable animals mod, and I'm sure that NPC arena stuff was inspired by the death battles people have been doing already with console commands. The other possible issue is if mod creators care enough to make console safe versions of stuff, I don't really see Bethesda having resources to tweak this stuff. If a Fallout Script Extender becomes widespread like 3 and New Vegas, console mods are doomed. Though that is speculated why Bethesda is actually tweaking Survival mode themselves for once, those kinds of mods always need the script extender.
