Got saints row 1,2 for the 360 for me and my girl and the saints row bundle for the one that me and my girl can share. I also got the metro redux bundle and the wwe2k16 season pass. Paid around $40.

Even though I own the Street Fighter and the Plants Vs Zombies Xbox 360 tables, they still show up as $2.99 to buy the Xbox Versions. Was just surprised it gave the option to buy Deadpool for $0.00 now.

Weird, I downloaded the tables on XB1 for the first time when I bought the Deadpool table and it let me "buy" the PvZ one no issue.

I wish I could do this, but I get charged tax here on buying a card and on Xbox Live. So I had to buy a 15 dollar card and then use some reward points for 3 dollars Xbox Live credit to cover the tax.

Holy shit, I'll gladly play through all of them again! RE 4 is a certified classic, game changer for sure. I actually played through RE 5 Gold last year and the graphics hold up nicely still, a very good looking game after 7 years.
 
Capcom couldn't make REmake or RE0 run at 60fps...so this is probably a 1080p/30fps affair.

I wish they would prioritize 60fps - RE5/6 in particular would benefit, due to all the action going on.

 
I'm such a sucker for all these remakes. Count me in for RE as well. With the release of this collection we will have almost the whole RE saga on the X1

Note he doesn't mention RE 6 folks and that's because it's a garbage game. That being said, I'd like to play through RE 5 again but $20 is a little steep. RE 4 is a great game but holy shit, classic capcom, re-releasing something for the millionth time. Give them enough time and they'll re-release street fighter 2 on the xbox one like they have on every other console.

 
For real no one talking about the new Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2? That game is so good. Only thing is right now the rose is a "lil" broken...the plants always win....every match.... but this has given me time to complete the story modes and garden ops stuff with friends. Love the whole "backyard" open world thing... Its great for partying up before going into MP since that was always an issue with the original game. Don't regret day 1 buy. Anyone else having a blast with this?

 
I actually liked RE6 a lot. The story wasn't amazing but me and my friend had a blast playing it especially the Jake Campaign. I'll pick up RE6 whenever it goes on sale.

Tons of us are playing it. My SmartGlass feeds lately are 50/50 GW2 and Rocket League. It is fantastic, yes. The rumor on the street is that they are going to nerf Rose pretty soon. (Which makes sense since the multiplayer mode is basically Roses vs Zombies.)

Excellent game though - the backyard battlefield is awesome.

Really loving this game and I wasn't a huge fan of the first one. I've just been playing the ea access trial and I really wish i wasn't out of time soon

I would buy Street Fighter 2 on the One for sure. Nobody plays the 360 version anymore :(

And I gotta admit RE 6 is a guilty pleasure of mine. I played through the entire game in co-op so that probably increased my enjoyment, I couldn't imagine doing it solo.

If the trend continues past the two consoles(this being the third year), it means WE the consumers are enabling it. Yes Capcom will prolly roll out SFII eventually to X1(like they'll make it backwards compatible when we'll buy it again), but Nintendo does this exact same thing. From Samus to Mario and Link, they'll keep re-releasing stuff over and over again if people are willing to buy. Heck, even Sony does it too from God of War 3 to the Uncharted Collection. Plus MS with the Master Chief Collection and Rare Replay for example.

I don't think it's necessarily "wrong" to remaster games, it just shows people are nostalgic for certain games. Whether it's the Bioshock Collection, Borderlands Handsome Collection, Saints Row and Metro Redux, the audience is there and willing to buy em again.

I don't think it's entirely wrong when it's done for masterpieces, but you should wait atleast 2 gens before doing so, and atleast put some work instead of bumping resolution and (maybe!) framerate. Backward compatibility used to be standard, now it's an acclaimed feature launched 2 years later and that only works with 1% of the games.

I'm yet to see MS doing this though. MCC included 4 Halo games, 2 of which were complete remakes. Rare Replay included games from the 80s/90s that couldn't work on X1 because of cartridge compatibility, and the 360 games are BC anyway. Gears UE is a complete remake and that doesn't stop you from playing the original game through BC.

Those were so bad the eventually toned them way down with a patch. Now they're bearable, but you can still turn them off. I think it was the same patch that let you adjust the FOV to not be in your characters ass at all times.

I might pick up 6 just for Mercenaries since I refused to buy the DLC. Coming with all those RE.net costumes is cool too.

I hope RE4 lets you move with the left stick and aim with the right. I can't believe they didn't have an option for that in the 360 version. The minor additions REmake and 0 had have me a bit more hopeful for these that the fairly lazy last gen ports. I really want RE6 to let you use the fun costumes in campaign at the very least.

Yup, co op games should always be played in co op. I beat Re5 5 times with different people, and Re6 3 times and one of the biggest complaints is that the AI partner ruins the game. I've never even seen the AI because I've never played solo.

If someone needs a co op partner when those release, let me know.

Not bashing but just commenting Microsoft Studios "remasters" were broken for a good majority of the people at launch. Heck, even Gears UE is complete shite online still. The shotty isn't consistent from one match to the next. I have serious doubts about Gears 4 with the way The Coalition handled the remake.

I'm not even going to go into the issues CAGs here encountered with MCC months and even a year after launch

That is awesome. I absolutely loved RE6, had a total blast with it. RE4, never could quite get used to the controls; this would be a great opportunity to bring it up to a more modern standard.

 
I can't imagine playing RE 4 with modern controls. I've been using the tank/swivel layout since the GameCube version. I'm stubborn. I hope they keep that as an option, at least.
 
Even with a co-op buddy, Resident Evil 6 was horrid. That game was such a slog and the last game I ever bought full price at retail. Action mode ramped up to 9/10 the majority of the time was just too much for me. No "scary moments" like previous games in the series as it continued the trend away from horror moreso than RE5 did. Really bad dialogue(it wasn't funny like the earlier titles) and the QTE sections were absolute crap (the QTE assist patch came just shy of 4 months after release).

Plus, Capcom said it performed well below expectations even though it sold like what, 6 million copies? Maybe if they didn't have 600 people working on the game. That amount of individuals made it feel like too many people's hands were in the pot. Lead to a bloated campaign that lasted over 30 hours.

RE6 just frustrated the heck out of me and shows how far Capcom has fallen. Now, they just release remasters/collections and send out games like Street Fighter 5 which haven't been cooking in the oven long enough. Okay rant over/

I want the tank controls still, but I just want to be able to aim with the right stick. In RE4 360 you can only have movement and aiming attached to the same stick. RE5 changed this to the layout the makes sense by current standards, while still having tank movement.
