Just in Fall of Cybertron. The Massive Fury pack lets you play as G1 Optimus Prime in the campaign (as well as Vs.), you can use the weapon modes for G1 Megatron and Shockwave in the campaign and you get a G2 colored skin for Bruticus for his part of the campaign.

I look forward to E3 all year so I would miss it. Usually the things that come off the floor aren't that big so it could be alright to lose that, but if it meant all the press conferences became pre-recorded it'd be a bummer. I think they would get too serious and much of the magic would be lost. Only Nintendo does ok with this style and their Directs, but even that isn't the same.
 
Anyone remember around when did the deals leak last year for the Spring sale? I know it starts on the 20th but the actual deals usually come out beforehand.

My favorite was the Skyrim review on Steam where the guy complained that the game was boring and didn't have enough depth. He had played for 1300 hours.

I'm considering the Prime deal for The Division @ $48.

I'm 320/319/319 on Destiny, and it doesn't want to give me the 2 class items I need to max out. And I can't be bothered to grind for it any longer.

Is Division a fad game just like Rocket League, R6 Siege and seemingly every other game that has launched of late where everyone plays it for two weeks and moves on to the next game?

I'm basically a loner and I get bored quickly playing solo.

Can't really say until we're there. No big multiplayer games for a few months will help, but it really depends on the endgame content and if new content is added frequently enough for people to not get burned out like Destiny.

Should probably start getting the word around about the upcoming daylight savings time change in the US on Sunday. While we push our clocks forward an hour, the weekly deals do not. Starting Monday through "fall back", expect weekly deals to begin dropping an hour later. This means 8 PM EDT, 5 PM PST. Trying to limit the confused posts that will start at 7 PM next week ;-)

Noooooooooooooo! Just in time to ruin the acid fest date week known as the spring sale.
 
So Battleborn releases the same day as Overwatch open beta. Battleborn has split screen and a campaign while Overwatch has just the multiplayer but it's Blizzard. Trying to see if I can convince myself to buy 1 or if I need both :)

I bought Tetraminos :xb1: but there are some issues with this game. The first is it immediately gives a sync error about save data even though I had never played it before. Exiting and restarting always give the same error.

The minor annoyances:

  • No hold piece, which is forgivable to an extent. NES Tetris didn't have one.
  • 1 piece block
  • Local Multiplayer Only
I'll end up getting more play time out of this game this weekend, but I wasn't very satisfied with how it played during my initial hour with the game. My wife also could not help but to exclaim, "This is not Tetris!"

I'm probably going to suck it up and import Puyo Puyo Tetris eventually. I also wish someone would revive Baku Baku from the Saturn days.

Update, they have patched Tetraminos and the save error is fixed and the drop button now works. I also am no longer getting random block placement. It is actually a lot more playable now.

Also Mookie Betts is a future star in the league. Wade Boggs is a legend, there's stories of him drinking an entire case (30) of beers by himself on a few hour flight home. And the only thing about Mike Greenwell I remember is that one spring training he went after Mo Vaughn with a baseball bat, what he should have done was attack Mo Vaughn with a sandwich instead.

That game actually looks fun... didn't realize it was an open Beta.

Both of the games (Overwatch and Battleborn) seem very similar to me. Maybe its the art style

And probably the fact that each game has a giant roster of unique heroes. I'm pretty sure the writing will be better in Battleborn because Borderlands/Borderlands 2.

 
I watched a video of Battleborn today, it's a borderlands-styled fps-moba. So quite a bit different from Overwatch. The only question for me on Overwatch is do I get it on pc or console.

Each game has over 20 characters(25 to 21), but OW has the story edge to me in that it has one/animated shorts coming out where ii couldn't tell you anything about BB story.

I would tend to agree. It's one of those things where bloggers don't realize that if they thought of an obvious joke within 2 minutes, a hundred other people have probably already made the same joke.

Sadly, if the posters on UFC/Sherdog/etc. Facebook posts are any indication, actual MMA fans aren't much better. A lot of them thought Rhonda sucked even before she lost. Crazy talk.

ON-TOPIC: I downloaded the trial. I'm hoping career mode is not as monotonous as it was last year. No matter what, it'll be fun for ten hours before I forget about it until it's added to the vault later this year. :D

Do you mean NDAs or non-competes? I was wondering if the latter could make that job fair moot, though a quick check of Wikipedia says in the UK they "may be used only if the employer can prove a legitimate business interest to protect in entering the clause into the contract. Mere competition will not amount to a legitimate business interest."

Blizzard is generally revered for that and already demonstrating a lot of character and world building. I'm not concerned that Battleborn will be launched dead in the water. Supposedly it's coming around the same time as Overwatch but doesn't seem to be gaining any traction. Overwatch is already super anticipated in a really crowded genre. These games don't really seem to do well when they don't hit the ground running.
