WADs!!! There were some great ones. I really liked an Aliens one which was a total conversion. They did an amazing job with the surroundings, enemies, sounds, weapons, everything. Got a kick out of the Simpsons one, too.

I like Supergirl. It's a show not on Disney I can actually watch with my kids. That's rare. Would I watch it if I was to watch it by myself? No, but it's enjoyable and my kids love it. Maybe that's what they are shooting for.

Started Rise of the Tomb Raider tonight.  Game is pretty tight.  I think I will like it a lot.  If the Season Pass goes on sale I may buy it.

 
Love Supergirl, look forward to watching it every week. Just couldn't get into the Flash though. The kid they went with is just too young to be the Flash, for me anyway. Tried watching season one when it first aired, and then on netflix, just didn't like it. Same for Arrow, Daredevil, and Legends. Tried them all, couldn't get into them. Love Agent Carter, Shield, and Jessica Jones though.

You should try again! Start with episode 4 of the Flash and go forward. It gets way, waaaay better.

I see that pic of Mattrick and for a moment I feel bad for him.  He just looks like this dope who just wants us to love his new Xbox One.  Then I remember he is worth at least 50+ million and I don't feel bad anymore.

The best thing about "his" Xbox One is how everyone used all the multimedia features on Xbox/Xbox 360 (like XBMC), then he announces a new console with more and everyone goes mad "we want gamez not tv"

 
GameFAQs ran a poll on "Which digital game store have you spent the most money on over the last year?" and the results are pretty damning for Microsoft. 22458 voters and only 1842 (8.2%) answered 'Xbox Games Store'. Over three times as many people (6504, 28.96%) chose 'PlayStation Store'.

Sony's sales on digital games are much, much better than Microsoft's. Also, Sony doesn't neglect the PS3 in its sales nearly as much as Microsoft neglects the Xbox 360 (which is still my platform of choice).

Step it up, Microsoft. I want to give you more of my money but you aren't helping.

 
I didn't realize the Xbox One GWG titles can only be used when gold. I usually buy a year at a time & most likely always will...but I wonder what will happen in the future when the Xbox One is no longer supported and they remove online capabilities? I collect games so as the games I owned on disc went GWG I have been trading them in and just downloading them. Now I'm thinking maybe I should have kept them.

By the time the Xbox One is no longer supported, you'll probably be able to rebuy the games you sold at a much lower price, depending on what they were.

I am not sure how representative that poll is for the actual population of gamers. It's possible that GameFaqs could be more Sony oriented in user base. It could also be possible that people who read gaming boards are typically more Sony focused, while the mainstream likes Xbox more. Not saying that I necessarily disagree with the conclusion that Microsoft's sales have sucked, but I just think it's dangerous to make conclusion based off of a poll that was collected from a specific audience. It would be like if I went to a conspiracy board and asked if NASA had actually landed on the moon. I would likely get a response rate of 'No' far more than the general public.

I've spent a large majority of it on psn as well. If the game is on both systems and I plan to get it digitally I always wait for the PS version and flash sales because it'll be cheaper.

Selection is better, prices are better, and flash sales are usually always great

I've always had both consoles through the generations, love both companies, and have no dog in the fight but for me there is no comparing the two when it comes to sales and incentive to go digital

Well, two XBLA Games (Mars and RAW) I don't have at $2.49 a piece, why not. Since I have all this leftover credit I bought for the spring sale. Also broke CAG rules and bought Omega Five (Shmup from 2008), still $9.99 on the marketplace and has never had a sale in it's entire run. So, expect a price drop and/or sale on this next week. I'm accepting thanks in advance! :D/

Yep. Other factors include the larger overall install base of PS4. Perhaps Xbox users tend to like physical media more? PS4 has more indie support and those games aren't available at retail, which obviously means more digital sales. I'm not saying the quality of sales and discounts doesn't play a part, but I'd be surprised if it was the biggest factor, honestly. Even the Xbox One's often-criticized store layout is probably a bigger factor.

 
Oh man I caved months ago on Omega Five. Great little game. As I tell JK on here just buy them. Them being the old arcade games and reboots by Taito , Hudson Soft/Konami etc. . Because they never go on sale and I was afraid one day they would be delisted. I save a pretty good amount here on cag so I can splurge every now and then.
 
Where is Killer Instinct Season 3?  I thought the release was today.  I still only see the Season 3 Ultra pre order for $40 with a bunch of bullshit I don't need.  Just want the characters for $20.  

 
PS4 is great at putting shitty games at amazing prices, which may be a selling point to some, but I rarely buy on PS compared to X1.

And I'm curious as to which sales for the PS4 people are jealous of (aside from the $1 flash sales where you can get turds like Tennis in the Face) just looked at the list in their OP and the PS4 stuff is mostly garbage, or at the same price as X1. Granted they do a lot more on PS3, than MS does for the 360 but we're over two years into this console generation, I can't imagine caring about OG Xbox game prices two years into the 360's lifespan.

If the PS3 games you owned were part of PSNow and you didn't have to pay extra to stream them I'd care more about the PS3 game prices, but they fucked that up

Since we were talking about future CoD rumors yesterday, latest one is that this year's version might be set in the far future and in space.  So...like Halo.  My guess is multiplayer will be player vs player, and they'll have an extra mode (ala, zombies in Treyarch games) that involve aliens.

"2016's Call of Duty will offer space combat between warring sci-fi groups in the far flung future."  (From Eurogamer.)

Thank goodness Titanfall 2 is releasing later this year as well.  I'll get that instead.

As with any poll, its data comes from a sample of the population. In this case, I'd say it's a significant sample - 22458 voters who play or are interested in video games (otherwise, they wouldn't be visiting GameFAQs). I don't think there's a Sony bias among GameFAQs' users and visitors since it caters to all gaming platforms, current or otherwise.

The PS4's larger install base might have played a part in the poll's results, as well as Sony's stronger support of mostly digital-only indie titles, sure. However, I don't think those factors can justify the fact that for every person who voted 'Xbox Games Store', 3.5 others voted 'PlayStation Store'.

Personally, as someone who doesn't yet own a PS3 or a PS4 but is building a backlog of games picked up cheap for both of those platforms *, I'm finding myself spending more money on Sony's store than on Microsoft's because the sales are so much more tempting.

If I was just going by the message boards, I'd say gamefaqs has a lot more PS users than Xbox users. I can post something on the fallout 4 board for Xbox 1 and it'll still be on the front page at the end of the day. If I post something on the fallout 4 board for ps4, it'll be buried in 20 minutes.

From what I've noticed over the years, I'd say the leading bias among GameFAQs users is a tie between Nintendo and chaos.

I know several peripherally, but the people I actually play with own Xbox Ones. Of course, that just means our friends are not representative of the overall install bases, I guess. But it makes sense if you think about it, since people tend to get the console their friends have so they can play together.

 
Does anyone know, if I buy DLC for Rock Band 3 on Xbox 360 today, will I also be able to use it on RB4 on Xbone without paying again? Or was there an expiration date for that?
