I think everyone's kind of expected it since it came out but hasn't yet. I think $5 is a decent price for it since you'll play it once and be done with it. Story's decent, concept's kind of fun, pacing isn't great and you walk arbitrarily slow but for $5 there's enjoyment to be had if the concept interests you.

It's actually a pretty fun game with a cool story, I'd say it's very much worth $5. My biggest complaints were the random framedrops and weird glitches (glitched through a wall and got stuck and during an investigation), but I played on a 360 so the One version may be better.

If you do get it, the 1000 is pretty easy, you just need a guide for all the collectibles (I recommend a replay if you want to 1000 the game, first play for the story).

 
As a fan of movies, tv and video games I am really liking Quantum Break. It may not be the best game I have played this year but the concepts are pretty awesome.  The motion blur is a little off putting and sometimes I cannot tell if the game is supposed to be stuttering but overall I am having fun.  The cover mechanic is soft which makes sense since you are not really supposed to be using it a ton but the instant pop out of cover is taking a bit of getting used to for sure.

Yeah it's not the best game ever but was like playing one of those FOX Sci-Fi series. I'll happily play the next game.

 
Hadn't turned my xbox one on in months.  Just fired it up to pick up AC: Syndicate Gold edition.  My lord was I confused.  Couldn't figure out how to redeem a code or determine which hard drive the stuff in my queue was being downloaded to.  Couldn't even remember how to make sure which drive was my primary storage device.

Am I crazy or did the updates to the one make it less user friendly than it was previously?

 
Damn we normally get until the morning before the old sales go down, Capcom already took down their sale prices compared to the rest of the Ultimate sale.

Trial codes only give you x1 sales not 360 sales.you need atleast a 1 month code to have access to gold prices on 360 games

Having played some of the "new" things (sales and releases), here's my personal impressions of some things in case you are wondering they are worth it.

Need For Speed Rivals - Obviously, this is only a relevant sale if you're not planning to get EA Access. It's a fun arcadey racer by the guys who made Burnout. Not quite those quality standards but it's fun, especially with friends, although joining servers can be a bit broken sometimes. It does feel like a lively world even in single player, kinda like Forza Horizon, and there is plenty of (repetitive) content. I say it's worth the price if you're interested in this genre, but I've personally seen the game cheaper than this.

Q.U.B.E. Director's Cut - It's essentially a Portal-like first person puzzle game. Creative puzzle-solving, easy achievements, not overly long, cool clean artstyle (again, similar to Portal in this). For just over 3 bucks I say it's definitely worth it if you like puzzles.

Super Toy Cars - I can't recommend this one. The game does look fun, but it's riddled with collision detection issues, wonky driving mechanics, dodgy framerate, weird AI, and more. At least, that was the game's state at launch, and given the severity of some of the troubles I highly doubt they've found a way to fix all these problems. If you crave for a decent Mario Kart clone on Xbox One, go for Beach Buggy Racing - hardly a masterpiece, but at least it works well.

The Living Dungeon - A solid turn-based role playing game where you effectively solve puzzles and where the difficulty ramps up in no time. It's a cool concept but the amount of BS going on few levels into the game is outstanding, and you'll be baffled by some of the rules. With Divinity also on sale, even not having played that one I say it's pretty easy that the other game is the one to get if you want a proper turn-based RPG.

Worms - Well, Worms is great. It's one of my all-time favourite game series, but at the same time, I can only recommend this one if this is your first encounter with it. Just about any other later entry of the series is miles better with tons more content, and I can't imagine the only being any active either. It's a basic barebones Worms experience, and while it's one of the most hilarious and awesome turn based PvP games ever, I say look for sales on other sidescroller episodes.

Worms Ultimate Mayhem - I've never been a huge fan of 3D iterations of Worms, but if you enjoy those, this is the ultimate 3D Worms game. The most content, the best refined controls, everything works out rather perfectly, and if you didn't play other titles like Worms 3D this will all feel very new and fun to you. Not on par with the 2D/2.5D episodes but it can get amazing with friends.

Song Of The Deep - Just a quick impression on Insomniac's latest too: I say wait for a sale. The premise is fascinating in many ways, but overall the game is really nothing special. An underwater submarine-based Metroidvania with a lot of puzzle solving, boring battles, tons of exploration and backtracking, some BS boss battles and some unforgiving difficulty spikes, for around 6 hours of gameplay. You can upgrade your submarine, you have a map and all which is great, but overall the gameplay is nothing outstanding, and even the game's world looks nowhere near as fascinating as some recent sidescrollers like Ori or Inside. Insomniac deserves your money but I say wait for a sale on this.

I just bought it this sale myself. Looked neat, but I think most people were let down by the technical issues (game was clearly held back by the last-gen release) and then after its release, Squeenix started making their games GWG constantly, so it seemed like an inevitability that this game would join the ranks. However, at this point it seems unlikely. I'd say it's worth the risk at $5.

I really really hope Temple of Osiris is the next game to go GWG though. It's the only reason I've held off on buying it, just seems so likely (has DLC Squeenix can still make money off of, Guardian of Light was GWG).

Still debating what to spend my last $10 on. I wanna get the 3D Pac-Mans before any possible delistings/in the hope that they join all the other Pac-Man titles as BC, but I also don't want to miss out on Enemy Within. Damn.

I think NFS Rivals was developed (mainly) by Ghost Games, not Criterion.

According to Wikipedia "80% of British developer Criterion Games staff (who have produced previous Need for Speed titles and assisted Ghost in the development of Need for Speed Rivals) moved to Ghost Games UK to help grow the studio."

So yesterday I went to Best Buy to stock of on Xbox Live credit, and maybe pick up one last game or two for the sale.  The whole store was out of Xbox Live currency cards.  The shelves of gift cards were fully stocked from all gift cards except Xbox Live currency.  Anyone seen this also at Best Buy or other retailers?

Like 3 or 4 years ago when they had some decent deal on 3 months of XBox Live on BF. However they were able to order it on the kiosk and have it print on my receipt and it worked fine. I haven't bought any codes/currency from them that way since so don't know if it is still an option or not.

 
Sad, didn't buy a thing in the "Ultimate Game Sale".  Already have or just don't want most of the older/cheaper games...and the newer games aren't cheap enough to justify (especially when I can get the physical copies for the same price or cheaper).  Sigh, oh well.

I know this is a bit late and others have responded, but it's worth it for sure, just a hard game, lot of fun though, played it on PC and will play it again on Xbox at some point.

 
Dangerous Golf is getting a major update patch that will go live today/tonite. Faster restarts, the DJ from Burnout 3 (providing voiceover in some capacity), and new/tweaked controls are all part of the patch.

 
Divinity is really good. I was hesitant to pick it up having heard how complex it can be in comparison to other console RPGs. But the way things have been mapped and excellent tutorials have left me impressed.

I'm sure item management will get more painful as I go on, but this is a PC port done right.

I almost pulled the trigger on this last night but want it on PS4 since I already played it over there. It was on sale last month for the same price (and they don't charge tax) but some how I missed it.

Probably should have bought it. Probably wont go on sale for like 6 months now.
