Anyone that purchase Resident evil CV? Started playing on the 360 and it has some random glitch like there is a shadow 2 screen. Anyone have this issue?

IMO the core online is good. It's the long load times and little glitches here and there that are holding it back. It'll get patched soon and then it will be a dream come true for me.
 
Finally got a chance to go through the deals and narrowed my list down to the following:

- Boom Boom Rocket  (I think I saw something like this on PS2. Fantavision,IIRC.)

- World of Tanks (Is it worth checking out and getting the DLC?)

- Street Fighter x Tekken

- Ultra Street Fighter IV

-Thief

Suggestions?  I also received a code for something called "Operations Gear Pack" for Gears of War 4.  If I had an Xbox One, I would be:

- More excited to get Gears of War 4.

- purchase Unravel

- get some Rocksmith DLC

- then realize I don't own a guitar

 
2 quick Forza Horizon 3 observations ...

1. I thought that the Groove music integration was just going to be a gimmick. But now that I've tried it, its easily the single most evolutionary improvement in the game. Absolutely kicks ass!

2. Spin to Win in Forza 6 gave out shit like it was Xmas morning with every spin. Horizon 3 is def more stingy with the credits. Glad I have VIP to help ...

Totally agree on the Groove integration. I love driving around in the game while listing to my own playlists and songs. Makes the game much more enjoyable (even though the game was enjoyable already).

I really like the Gears of War 4 multiplayer. it feels like how Gears multiplayer is supposed to feel. There's a few glitches here and there, but I don't know what more people wanted. Some of the new power weapons are a bit quirky though. The saw blade gun is really good if the player knows what they're doing.

I agree with this, but when they have one main villain (Like the Governor in Season 3), imo that's when the show is at it's best. I can't wait for the 23rd and to see what Negan has up his sleeves (plus it doesn't hurt when Trevor from GTA is your right hand man).

WTF....I thought the new season premiered THIS weekend. Now I got an extra week where I need to avoid spoilers. Dammit, it was bad enough with Gears. Luckily I went unscathed.

And TWD Survival Instinct was such a cash in. So much wasted potential. The only cool thing happened in the first 15 mins. Everything went downhill after that. Even using my free red box rental felt like I got ripped off

I own all those 360 games except World of Tanks. I played Boom Boom Rocket this morning in the few minutes I had before work. It was a fun game, but yes, it was a lot like Fantavision. I didn't know, though, that you can play Boom Boom Rocket with a guitar controller or a dance pad. I definitely want to try both!
 
Got an e-mail about a half hour ago from Microsoft (Bing) Rewards with a free 200 points.  Hope others got it as well.  I think I would've fallen a little short of another $5 XBL credit before the current 3,500 point promo ended (11:59pm Pacific on the 24th), but this should put me over the top.

This is going to sound absolutely weird.. but it might be related to the wide screen safe area.

On my DLP TV, RE4 had this weird shadow effect.. everything looked off... turns out it was an overlay effect and when I changed the safe area of the screen size in game, it worked perfectly.

I got the same email earlier. I should have my 3500 points in the next 3 days which is great because I might be able to grab another 360 game before the current weekly sale ends.
 
Very thankful that when you join games late they sometimes give you a random character in GoW4. I was saving up scrap to buy a legendary character from
the swarm. The Red Wave Shepard, the one gave me in the match was the Ninja Shepard.
Anyways it makes the most annoying fucking sound, holy shit. Nonstop, sounds like a broken spring mattress. Gets louder when you run too. Dodged one there cause that would have been 2,400 down the drain which isn't easy to get.

Also about the MP, I think it's fine except the horrible netcode as mentioned. Shit is bad but it's tolerable and doesn't ruin anything for me except when the game lags and there's a bot in front of me cause they don't skip, freeze or whatever.

Maybe the game randomly picks different characters for latecomers every match, or picks randomly from the other loaded characters. Could you tell if the character you got was already in the match?

A bit understandable why the 360 games gave latecomers Marcus / Drone - the game probably always had those characters loaded in memory, but couldn't have every character loaded to accommodate all possible choices, and didn't want the game to slow down in case someone tried to load a character off a game disc instead of a hard drive. Though the player could've had their character loaded and everyone else could've just seen Marcus / Drone (or the bot that was replaced) until the round / match switched. Though it could've made for some odd audio if you hear your character's phrases on your TV while possibly hearing a different character's voice being picked up by the mics of the people you're playing with.

It was a guardian match so there was the leader who the set character and the rest of them were everything but my player type.

After that match I joined another late and they gave me the same person but the color blast version this time. I didn't pay attention to my team on that one. I do notice that they always tend to give me characters I do not own.

Like that gif I made yesterday, I don't own that skin of the person I used.

My balance went from 353 to 553. Don't know why it didn't work for you guys.

Also, I got my XBL Rewards deposit today. If you preordered Gears 4 digitally through the XBL marketplace before October, you probably also had a deposit, since their promo was giving back $5 for the standard and $10 for Ultimate.

It's kinda' minor though. Unlocking the Legends and other random fun stuff is where it's at. Once you get Magic Johnson for the Lakers, Bird for the Celts, Shaq on the Magic (holy crap Shaq and Dwight Howard together blocking everything), and a few others unlocked you really won't ever want to play much with anyone else because that last tier of single player games is HARD and you need every advantage you can get.

Not vidya but I just watched Shin Godzilla. It's pretty good, check it out if you like that kind of thing. I did see a lot of Evangelion influence from the director/writer. His visual style really comes across too. It's in limited theaters this week only if you're interested.

As for Gears I'm really enjoying the campaign, one act left. MP has been kind of rough since I didn't realize the Core playlists are ranked. Without the 5 placement games I keep flipping between wrecking shit or being completely destroyed. I don't really like that social play is all lumped into one playlist, but I guess that's probably to keep the playlist populations healthy. Hopefully the credit system gets buffed some more, it still feels awfully slow, especially when trying to save up scrap for something specific. Fortunately my character is only 600 and that's all I REALLY want. Horde seems interesting so far, but I need to find some regulars. Randoms from matchmaking are pretty quit happy. At least a person quitting doesn't fuck up your whole game like 3 though. I haven't been able to gauge my feelings on the ability boosts for Horde yet, but it seems like it isn't any harder than 3 if you weren't using any, so I think I'm OK with them.

 
Battlefield 1 trial is kind of buggy with the menus / world overview. Got completely stuck several times and had to force quit and restart it.

Multiplayer seems down or having matchmaking issues.

On my DLP TV, RE4 had this weird shadow effect.. everything looked off... turns out it was an overlay effect and when I changed the safe area of the screen size in game, it worked perfectly.

How do u change it in the game? I had a shadow like when u enter a door, but it will show two doors, etc.

 
I've been playing WWE 2K17 for 2 days now and I swear the developers didn't even test out the game. This is possibly the glitchiest WWE game since WWE'12.
