Every other forum im on talks about sporting events openly and I've never heard anyone say it was spoilers.

Its not comparable to spoiling a video game or movie because the results are posted all over the headlines on the internet anyway.

Then again I think watching sporting events that I'm not watching live is a waste of time anyway.

If it is still swollen, I'd go get it checked out as that sounds like a severe allergic reaction to the bite and you have one on your head as well. Doesn't really sound like a black widow or brown recluse bite, but you can't be too careful. Many people only get flu like symptoms with a BW bite and they dissipate after a few days so the person never even knows they were bitten. All depends on the immune system and individual's body's reaction. On the other hand a BR bite can be really nasty. Google BR bite pics and check out what necrosis can do. That may inspire a trip to the clinic just to be sure.

And this comes from someone who rarely goes to the doctor as in I almost didn't get my broken neck checked out right away last year. It felt jammed and I couldn't easily turn my head. Turned out to be broken and if I had turned my head it most likely would have severed my spinal column.

As for spoilers, as has been mentioned, sports results make the news right away so it's practically unavoidable on the internet, but in places that normally wouldn't have the results spoiler tags should be used for those who haven't had a chance to watch yet at least for a few hours since people have to work or similar schedule issues. I never get to watch NFL live because of work so I turn my phone off when my team is in the playoffs since I can guess how my team did by the number of texts I get from friends. On the other hand, people know the risk of getting online at all before knowing a sports result. Shows and movies' "results" aren't generally in the news so spoilers are more protected in general. Then again SW: TFA was spoiled twice for me in the first few days after it came out in a Warframe trade chat feed and Major Nelson's twitter feed responses.

what's done is done, but anyone else that wants rechargeable batteries, just buy some amazon basic batteries, or eneloop and a wall charger. it's around the same price and has a million more applications.

I also have a good experience with the rechargeable batteries from IKEA if you have one in your area.

 
Ended up grabbing Borderlands Handsome Collection because I had some space credits.

I realize it's cheaper this week at Best Buy, but I want that digital so I can jump on whenever.

I have had pretty good luck with Nyko battery packs. More convenient then opening the battery door every time I need to recharge. The ones I bought for my 360 lasted forever. I gave them to someone else to use on their 360 when I sold mine. I bought them again for my XBox One in March and so far so good.

If they crap out prematurely I will consider eneloops though as I hear really good things about them and my AA rechargeables are old and suck at this point.

 
I feel like such a whore. After looking at the point I was at on MyRewards, only $100 from the 4-star mark, I went into Rock Band 4 and just purchased a large portion of my wishlist just to go over the amount I needed by the end of the year.

 
The insignia Xbox1 dual controller base at Bestbuy is superior to the Energizer version. It is easy to lock-in the controllers. They charge and then the light shuts off and it takes up less space since it sits more upright than others.

If the Raiders still had Carr, maybe I'd think they have a chance. Without him, I don't know if I see them going far. Giants and Cowboys will be interesting teams to watch in the playoffs no doubt.

As for the Dolphins, do I honestly expect them to win it all, much less go far? Not really. But this team has surprised me this year so I'd say you can't really rule them out. Plus, it's fun to rile up Pats fans.

I am not as dedicated to this thread as many. I have no idea what "the good surprise" is, or how or why you spoiled it. I remember someone saying something to you for repeatedly bringing up feet stuff, but I don't even want to touch that. I won't argue much; I just didn't remember seeing you post much before recently, which is why I asked the question. It wasn't even a pointed question. I just wondered where you came from.

Just pony up the $20 and call it a day, D3 is a fantastic game that is jam-packed with content. If you like action RPG games even a little bit, it's more than worth it. Do you really need to try it out with tons of reviews and YouTube videos out there?

The issue with the batteries is exactly how they can be used for other applications. For some people this is a plus, but for others it just means that you'll be hunting for remotes that your kids borrowed the batteries out of. Positives and negatives, but for me negatives. I bought a big pack of Eneloops a couple years ago and now they are almost all gone. Not worn out, gone. Used in kids toys, and most likely not taken out before disposed of. With the packs, at least you'll know they won't be bogarted for some shitty LeapPad that got used for five minutes and cost $50.

All that said, just the other day I bought four Eneloops instead of packs because they were about $10 cheaper. My One controllers will get the batteries while the kids controllers get the packs.

 
D3 is well worth it. It works surprisingly well with a controller. Glad I bought it I've been playing solo and co op and it's great fun on both.

Instead, every post of yours about this has just been you trying to justify it by claiming people would have had it spoiled for them anyway.

Your whole argument has been "I bet those people were also on sites where one would expect to have the results of something like this spoiled, so it's ok that I spoiled it here in a thread for Xbox game deals." Now, if this was the MMA thread in the Off Topic forum section, I'd agree with you, but we're not.

Again, I personally don't care about sports spoilers. I don't care about sports, period. But some people do. Different people care about different things than I do. And it's hardly "the internet shutting down" to take five seconds to use a spoiler tag to discuss the results of a sporting event immediately after it happened within a thread that isn't primarily for talking about sports.

 
Diablo 3 for me, is one of those games that I can turn on and just mindlessly bash my way through hordes of demons. Don't let me saying "mindlessly" turn you off of it though, because it is very addicting. Especially considering you just keep leveling up, keep finding better loot, and keep challenging yourself to see how high you can turn up the difficulty before it's too much.

I love it. I was recently on the fence as to whether I should buy it on PS4 since there are so many 'new' games I want to play, but I couldn't pass up that price and now I'm right back in the thick of it. My favorite thing to do once I've beaten the game once, is to play music and just do bounties/rifts in adventure mode.

I've only ever played it solo, so I can't speak for how much fun it is with other people. And like Indarkened said, it's so good with a controller. I first played D3 on PC and it was fun, but once I tried it on Xbox 360, I knew that's how I was more comfortable playing it.

I'll second AmazonBasics. I'd actually recommend them over the name brand Eneloops, because from what I've read, AmazonBasics are just rebranded Eneloops anyway, and you can get them for half the cost of Eneloops.

Yup... This man speaks the truth of children and batteries. I have a bunch of high output Duracell rechargeables that no one else is allowed to use under threat of bodily injury. When the Eneloops disappear, they can replace those themselves.

you can't buy xbox 360 games with your account balance (not credit card) even if it's backward compatible?   I am having trouble buying Catherine (also wrong price) and Final Fight on my xbox one.

 
Hey everyone, I've been lurking around this thread for a while now and finally decided to start posting. A question I'm sure has been asked dozens of times, I'm debating on buying The Witcher 3 but I know that it'll just be sitting in the backlog for a while and who knows if the price will drop even lower. Any input.?

Every major release game will get cheaper, period. It's just a matter of when and what your definitive price point is.
