If you like Metroid/Vania's it's fantastic, honestly. It was worth $15 to me, at this price you can't go wrong, especially since this is the expanded edition with extra levels and content. There are even some subtle shout-outs to Metroid in the game, they know their roots well.

 
Seems pretty stupid to not wait another week for Assassin's Creed to be GWG to put the other 2 countries on sale. I'm not buying them before I've tried out the first one.

Probably will regret it to some degree but here's my thinking on it and what got me considering pre-ordering it in the first place. FH2 was crazy sale resistant and the new restrictions on GCU not working on BF sales probably kill the best price it will be over the holidays. Case in point I bought FH2 during it's sale in early December of 2014 for around $30 and had traded it to Amazon before the year was out because they were giving like $45 for it on the assumption that it would be on sale a bunch physically or digitally and I wouldn't have to wait long to replace it. It took until June of this year for it to go cheap enough on XBL for me to get it and hadn't seen any physical sales compelling enough to get it in the mean time.

So I'm hoping FH3 goes the same way and holds it's value really well and whatever difference there is with a sale on a vanilla copy can be considered the premium for getting the steelbook. That and there's a fair chance that if there is a crazy enough sale to cause regret that BBY or GS or Amazon will give more for the disc that than crazy sale so it could possibly be offset that way too.

Well damn, I'm gonna get naruto and turn on. I don't know anything about naruto but the demo was pretty fun. Does anyone know if the season pass adds anything worthwhile for a non-fan?


Dragonball xenoverse is awesome imo. I had so much fun with that game. The dlcs are good for different reasons. One of them adds more story missions and some new characters. The story missions are pretty fun. The other dlc adds a few parallel quests that you can play with a brand new character. One of those quests will allow you to level up really, really fast. It's great for eliminating some of the grind, esp if you're going to make multiple characters.

It also adds (in my opinion) the very best z-soul in the whole game.

Already completed AC China, definitely going for India and Russia. I would pick up Brotherhood for the 360 but the Ezio collection is coming out soon and I guess I'll just wait for that.
 
Ah, Ass Creed. The series I keep forgetting if I own it or not since I haven't finished any of the games.

Might settle for Soul Calibur or Galaga if the 360 is full of ass (although Xenoverse for $10 is pretty tempting).

Screencheat is an absolute blast with friends. I can't recommend it enough. It definitely has a cheap indie game feel to it, right down to the announcer being too close to the mic when he recorded himself with what's probably a RadioShack mic, but it's chock full of humor and doesn't take itself seriously at all.

I sold off my AC physical collection to get digitally once they go on sale... which of course happens right as they announce a remastered Ezio collection.

There's no rumors of AC3 going remastered yet, right? So maybe there's still hope of that going BC? I've already beaten it, I just want it for archiving/hoarding all the AC games (despite it being the weakest of the series).

Because it is so much better than any of the other Ass Creed games made for this gen. Seriously, they totally nailed it with Syndicate! It runs smooth and plays fantastic. Its more GTA-like than the other AC games and the setting and characters are the best since the Ezio games. Plus, the graphics actually look like they belong on the X1/PS4, whereas Unity struggled mightily just to run smoothly. I loved it even after telling myself I was burned out on the series. Pretty sure itll drop more but anything around $20 is totally worth it for AC Syndicate

 
I just celebrated a lackluster date nite by finally finishing Project Spark on XBO. (already finished it on PC)

I wish they'd put AC3 at $5 already.

 
If I didn't already own Black Flag and Unity I'd be all over that triple pack.

Where's the Blood Dragon sale?

Is that the one with the Star Wars characters? That's probably why we haven't seen discounts on it. It's a miracle they haven't taken it off the Xbox Marketplace entirely, considering what happened with previous Disney properties.

Yup. SC4 is the one with the 3 Star Wars characters. My favorite in the series despite lame Yoda.

Gonna have to disagree and say that it's not pointless.

Whether you feel it's worth $10 is up to you, it does add 4 characters, 2 short single-player stories and a ton of special team ultimates and costumes.

If I didn't love the series as a whole so much, I would wait for it to be $5, but given the Xenoverse Season Pass has had shit sales so far (it's not even on sale this time around and 2 is right around the corner), I'm not risking it. I'll buy it as soon as my Bing monies come in.

Revolution is on sale for $7.50. Now I'd argue buying THAT is pointless if you mostly game on your Xbone and they never make it BC.

You're probably better off just buying a physical copy, I can't imagine it's over $5 used at this point. I keep hoping they'll make SCV BC, I'd re-buy it for the low price just for convenience.

Maybe I'll finally bite on 2 I guess.

2 is great, and BC. The only thing that gave it a negative reception was that the netcode was so garbage after 5 had great netcode.

Not sure if they ever did much to patch it, but if you have no intention of playing online, then you really have no reason not to get it. $5 is a steal.

Bad online is kind of a bummer but I'd have to assume it's pretty dead anyways. I played a LOT of 5 online, until it eventually became a barren wasteland. Honestly the biggest downside is the lack of Create A Soul for me, I spent a ton of time messing around on both 4 and 5 with it.

Really, I wish MS would try to get more fighters to be BC, we only have a couple Xbone options, along with Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Skullgirls, and Soul Calibur 2 from BC. I mostly play Capcom stuff but I assume the Sony deal is stopping Street Fighter 4, Third Strike, and SSF2THDR from coming over. Hopefully Disney's new plan means MvC2 or 3 could at least get re-licensed. Though those could all be tied to Capcom "remasters" too. Plus we're missing out on the anime fighters, and MK9/Injustice BC that I thought was announced forever ago.

I guess I knew I was on the wrong box for fighters as soon as SFV was announced, then KoFXIV joined the party. At least Bamco hasn't forsaken us.

He did say he was not a fan of Naruto so it's pretty much pointless for him. In my opinion its only worth it for the Sound Ninja DLC character pack.

Nope! Maybe for campaign but to me at least, Halo is about multiplayer and Halo 5 especially has been great. 4 was lots of fun and admittedly MCC had issues but this video focuses mainly on campaign and it has always been nonsense. Sure out there sci-fi stories are fine but Halo has always been bad in this regard, but the multiplayer has continued to be top notch even after Bungie with the possible exception of MCC. There are a lot of rose tinted glasses out there, I played hundreds of hours of Halo 3 and I think 1/4 of it was spent in loading screens. People have hated on Halo for changing but I think it has only adapted. It can't be the same game forever or at least it shouldn't be.
