I just finished that 1000/1000 took about 2 hours.

If you miss the achievement for purchasing a attribute; just download the NBA 2K17 app. You get enough credits to be able to buy the attribute. Elsewise 5000 credits is $2, fuck that! :)

Hi guys. Long time lurker (in my defense, I never lurked a code or anything) who created an account a while back and never got around to use it. Finally regained access and here I am.

Xbox-only gamer (nothing against Playstation, just that all my gaming friends are on XBL so....) who has been keeping tabs on "date night" for quite some time now. I was also around here when the "Oman Wars"  (though I was no victim, I did suffer a great "Injustice" from the Costa Rican government jejeje) erupted and the subsequent....fallout.

Anyways, you guys think that maybe, just maybe, Sega would have the decency to put Binary Domain on sale? I'm pretty sure it's never been on sale, ever. Just like Bayonetta.

As far as the sales, Bloomy is the one to ask. Every Monday morning, Bloomy, Larry and Phil get together in their expensive conference room and they decide how they want to treat us that week. Bloomy will claim to be just like us, but most of us know he's flying to Microsoft HQ on a weekly basis.

Sorry, you can't be a Patriots and Giants fan (even the old timers living in western Mass from before the Patriots came around like the Giants instead of Pats). Plus Eli is a Patriot killer and they beat us in 2 super bowls. I'm not sure if you being here is really gonna work out actually...

But really, welcome to the shitshow. And there's like a 0% chance Binary Domain goes on sale, you'd be better of finding it on PC for like a dollar

I used to work at an online betting company and I can assure you I saw people cheering for both during the Superbowl 42 party they threw that year. Of course, some of them almost committed suicide when the Giants won (most of the straight up to win money was on the Giants) after that ridiculous completion.

Sucks that ReCore may not be as good as we all hoped, but I was planning on BF anyway so hopefully it's sub $20 then

I wouldn't say "wrecked". It's getting mixed reviews, some good, some bad with the vast majority in the mediocre category.

I'm still going to give it a go. Having pre-ordered through the MS store with the $15 point bonus, I'll essentially only have paid $25 for it, which isn't far from the $20 mark anyway.

If I hate it, I suspect trade-in values will be around $25 for the first few weeks. So no real harm. It always looked good to me.

Probably the biggest complaint I've read is that it feels padded with too many fetch quests.

BioShock since I own them all on PC already and it's an automatic upgrade. Paid something like $25 for them all over the years.

Already have the rest of the DR bundle that's on PC now, too, so no chance I'm double dipping.

That said, I do have a bit of buyers remorse. Not because I hate Recore, but because I now realize I want to play BioShock Remastered so bad and I feel like I could've waited for Recore to hit $15-$20.

I agree with this. You have to be your own critic. Yes reviews are great and help, but you shouldn't totally rely on them as you may miss out on a game that you otherwise might have enjoyed.

I don't like the look of the green console, but that's a pretty good value. $350 for the bf1 deluxe edition instead of standard, and you get a vertical stand that usually only comes with the 2tb console (i think?)

Storm Grey looks nice though, but 500GB and only standard BF1 with no stand for $300

Seriously. People always say a game is bad or shit based on what reviews say. There are so many so called "shitty" games that were good imo and if I listened to reviews then I'd be missing out.

Reviews can eat a dick and if you really pass on games based on "reviews" well then your loss because there are gems out there.

I think I'm gonna hold off on that retro arcade pack for X1. It can go lower I think......I really REALLY would love to get that Bioshock Collection, but I can be patient and wait for a sale during Black Friday/Holiday season. These crappy XBL deals lately have taught me patience

Never played Bioshock.  I started it once, just didn't get into it.  For some strange reason, I am actually excited to play it now.

In a world with infinite time and money where we could play every game, I would agree with you without reservations. However in the real world, there's so many games that there's not enough to time to come to your own conclusions about everything. Reviews can at least point you in the right direction toward games that are more likely to be worthwhile.

That said, Fuse was fuck in' awesome and I'm still mad that it got the shaft from reviewers. Totally unfair.

 
Ehhh, I thought the reviews for Fuse were pretty right on considering I just remember it being pretty meh even with friends (and just terrible with AI partners) and even Insomniac themselves have expressed dissatisfaction of it on numerous times.

I'm going for neither remaster bundle, but both once they are $15-20 next year.

I have never been a believer in the philosophy that a $40 game with a $15 gift card makes it a $25 game. Your still out $40, you just get $15 worth of something else. I'm a Dave Ramsey guy though which I know others of you are too so cash is king.

I don't think it will suck it just doesn't look as innovative as the trailers did last year. (Imagine that, the trailers seemed different than the final product.) I'll still play it eventually, just not something I need to play during the release hype train.
 
I refuse to let internet control my hype for Recore. I pre-ordered it from MS store and I will play it/ like it.

Seriously though, if it sucks it sucks; I'm going to keep an open mind and see how it goes.
