I have realllllly small hands, and I found the 360 controller to be pretty comfortable. But I can see how it might be a bother if you're not used to gaming much. You'll adjust once you get the hang of it better.

 
Seems fair to say central Massachusetts is more Monster territory than Rockstar. Tons of the battlefield 1 monsters in every store I check, but none of the Gears Rockstars

I had no trouble with the Totinos codes on the other hand

There are sellers on eBay with XBL codes for the 3 non-Walmart Tostinos DLCs for between $7-8 buy it now OBO.

This guy has a lot of recent positive feedback for the Gears 4 codes. May work out in the end depending on what you may be able to find. The Tostinos I found were the big 120 count bags, none of the smaller ones were for the Gears promo, so it would've been cheaper for me to go the eBay route. (And I wasn't going to just use the codes without buying the product.)

I hate Microsoft. I have $5 expiring today. It's already expired even though the day is still not over. MS chat and phone support are fucking retarded

On the phone right now and she asked me what does expire mean, does that mean you're going to get $5?

Final update: asked for a supervisor and got the $5. I lost $10 a year ago in a similar thing. Supposedly the credit expires immediately when the day starts, which I'm positive is a lie since it still shows I have the $5 expiring today. Almost an hour sunk into this but I had to do it out of principle this time.

This is the closest picture I could find, but I had a friend who played with his right palm on top and used all his fingers for the face buttons and like his pinky for the trigger. He said it was a habit from playing with fight sticks.

To the OP (well, not the real OP, but this new to 360 dude): I only use my pointer fingers for both the trigger and LB/RB. I press with the top digit and pull the triggers with more of my fingertips, I don't really move my finger to switch between LB/LT.

Saints Row 1 is a pretty boring GTA clone. The second games marked SR going for the wacky side and GTA going for a more serious, gritty tone. Start with 2.

I think you got some great recommendations already. The Enzio AC games, Batman Asylum, Just Cause 2, and all the Bioshocks would be on my list for games to check into if you missed them originally.

*edit* OMG, I forgot about arcade games. Marketing for AAA games must be rotting my brain. Trials HD, Battleblock Theater, and Far Cry Blood Dragon are probably my favorites from last gen. Wish I wasn't at work right now and could browse my backlog for recommendations...

Just got back from that Resident Evil truck. They give you up to a half hour to go through the Lantern demo in VR. It was pretty cool, though the game looks even rougher in VR, I assume because this wasn't on the PS4 Pro. Some elements of the scenery look good but the character models seem to be about late-era 360. It was my first experience with actual VR and while it is cool, I'm not convinced on spending the money to experience a game that way, even if I did already own a PS4.

The game itself didn't seem overly scary, maybe a bit creepy with some jump scares thrown in. I haven't been watching the gameplay videos that are out there but I'm not sure how it will hold up throughout the entire game. The puzzle in the demo did feel very classic RE to me at least. I really don't know if I'll like the whole game or not yet, but at least it isn't RE6.

You can get a 20th Anniversary Pin if you pre-order RE7 and show them the receipt, along with 3 logo pins for STARS, RPD, and Umbrella if you buy RE 4, 5, or 6. I ended up with 3 posters too, having won this cool one with a trivia question. The other side has all the cities the bus stops in.

Yeah, it's usually called the Claw Grip for those that end up learning it. It's been pretty common with the handheld Monster Hunter games.

As for games for someone with a short attention span, it's kind of hard to say. I would think something relaxing maybe like Beautiful Katamari, but if OP liked Bioshock based on it's story telling, I'd maybe say more action games with engaging stories like Binary Domain or Mass Effect. Or for shooters with fairly straight forward progression like the Halo or Gears of War games. Pretty much all of these are dirt cheap used now.

It's a pretty basic horde mode but still fun. I think there is a Haunted Hollywood theme map too for the regular game type.

I tried searching for pictures of it, and this whole time I thought it was a real thing.. Now I think that guy was insane or something. He'd play with the controller in his lap and he just used his thumbs to hold the grips with his pointer fingers on the sticks. He told me it was cause he liked fighting game pads... I don't know why that made sense to me, but he was way better than me at fighting games and platformers.

Goddamned, those vintage Oscar skins for the GOW4 console bubdke are going for crazy amounts on ebay, I want it, just not that bad. A good way to get the price down on the console though

And to pay it forward, if anyone still needs that Gears operation pack code, I have one. I think it is called the operations pack. It is whatever the pack that seemingly everyone got anyway.

So I just received a code from Amazon support for Gears 4 Ultimate Edition in response to the fact that the regular physical edition of the game was delayed a few days. My dilemma is that I also received the physical edition today.

Anyone else got their Gears collection codes? I still haven't received mine and I want to play the games in order before I tackle 4.

This was a waste of time for me.

EA's official fix is to reset your console. Try reseting your MAC address first, as reseting your console will lose any preferences settings and Xbox gamertag info.

How to Reset MAC Address:
Go to Network Settings ->Advanced -> Alternate MAC Address
Select “Clear MAC Address”
The Xbox One will restart.

How to Reset the Xbox One:
Select Settings -> All Settings -> System -> Console Info & Updates -> Reset Console
Select “Reset and keep my games and apps”

Final update: asked for a supervisor and got the $5. I lost $10 a year ago in a similar thing. Supposedly the credit expires immediately when the day starts, which I'm positive is a lie since it still shows I have the $5 expiring today. Almost an hour sunk into this but I had to do it out of principle this time.

I don't mean to be that guy.. but why do you even take that chance and leave it to the last day? Generally "expires XXXXX" means it's gone on that day, so MS isn't wrong in this case.

 
I chatted with customer support on Tuesday and asked what the point of having Prime was if my game didn't come on release day. I stated that others got a free copy of the Ultimate edition for that version being delayed, so I asked if I could have the digital copy of the regular edition for their screw up. Then three days later they email me a digital code for the Ultimate Edition the same day my physical copy of the regular edition showed up.

Went to the auction house. 8 million fake dollars later I have all the new HE cars. Also the old ones are still on there, but I'd imagine they'll get a lot more expensive as they go
 
since WaW was added to BC I have played 10 games of Team Deathmatch without encountering any hackers, Black Ops 1 on the otherhand was hacker infested when it was BC
