Same, I was able to do the Rally Rivals achievement yesterday. Glad it is at least functioning for now. Still need tof earn quite a bit of money for the last two 1000 Club achievements. Need 2 Lamborghinis and about 10 more other cars.

Al so need the win 10 rally stages online. Anyone want to help me out with that achievement sometime soon?

If I get a few minutes to actually sit in one place very long it's to eat, poop, or sleep

I just gave away my desktop to my family because it just collects dust.

I'm a casual gamer that barely even plays anything anymore and am always moving around. Laptops aren't for everyone but it certainly makes sense for people like me.

Murdered Soul Suspect - Glad I didn't buy it when it was cheap. Heard It's a quick play through and easy achievements. 

Monkey Island SE: Great game. Too bad I own it.

Blood Dragon: Surprisingly didn't own this despite Trakan's avatar. He always made me want to buy that game for some reason. Heard amazing things so look forward to this one.

Since I don't own 3/4 games I can call that a win, and of course Blood Dragon.

I get it but I still wouldn't buy a "gaming laptop" even if you wound up buying something that could still play some games competently while things are in flux. I would personally buy a solid laptop that had a reasonable GPU depending on my price point. I own three of those four games.  Disappointed that one of the 360 games has been BC for months; I always like it when the GWG doubles as a BC announcement.

It's a good game with an interesting concept. Just wish it had a little less glitches (on the 360, don't know about One) but it's definitely worth a play through.

I'm liking the 360 games because I don't have either so a good month for me.
 
Really good GwG for November. Monkey Island and Blood Dragon are classics that almost every gamer should play/try. I liked Murdered so much on 360, I played through it again on X1.

So I have 3/4, but still a good gaming month. It'll expose people to some great games.

Edit: My play through of Murdered on 360 had constant frame rate dips along with clipping issues; one of the collectibles glitched on me, so unable to get an achievement. My X1 play through.....no issues whatsoever. No lag or anything. Thankfully we're getting the superior version.

I bought FC3 Blood Dragon a couple weeks ago, next week it was on sale for cheaper, the following week it's announced free.

Lol I mentioned this on Reddit and was immediately downvoted to pour salt on the wound.

I played 1-50 casual with 3 randoms this morning. Held my own most of the way but at the end by (about 5,000). I was the lowest score. One guy really carried everyone. Mostly by building lots of turrets and fortifications and stuff.

I am convinced the crew of 5 we had the other day we have easily beat all the way through wave 50 on casual with no real issue. I don't think I ever died (had to be revived though). Deaths were pretty limited.

Not sure what the map was called but a much better/easier map to defend a point then the one we played. It was one of the maps in the Beta.

ETA: The map was Foundation.

I passed through Cleveland back in mid-August, caught a game while I was there. It's an awesome stadium and no joke, I could feel the aura in the air. The team they have right now is pretty special. I'm rooting for them this post season. Cubbies have suffered 100+ years, so what's another lol

So jealous you're going to the game. I wont miss that yellow cotton candy though. Only gross thing I ate at Progressive

I wasn't hyped at all after the beta, actually I was mad at them for changing everything. I'm glad I got a cheap preorder because I really want to try it.

What a big year for multiplayer games btw. Overwatch, Gears 4, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, Call of Duty 4. Lot of money gone, but not enough time.

Well I own 2/4 of the GwG in Nov.  Oh well.  Murdered Soul Suspect is a pretty decent game that looks really nice.  If you want 1000/1000 though be sure to use a guide because there are like 200+ collectibles in the game.  There are a few frustrating parts that I wished they would have just eliminated because by the end I just wanted to know how the story ended.  Looking forward to Monkey Island at least.

I was on the fence about buying this full price (well Best Buy full price) but after seeing the reviews coming in I am going for it. I played 100+ hours of the first one so they deserve a little loyalty I guess. I still worry this will be the last one with a release in such a crowded market.

The new hardcover book from 343 called "Halo Mythos" is absolutely awesome. Even if you are remotely interested in the Halo universe, I suggest you check it out. (I am in no way the biggest Halo fan, and I am blown away the amount of lore detail in it.) It explores the full story of the entire series with big beautiful paintings and artwork. Currently $22 on Amazon.

 
Ended up grabbing fallout 4 with the season pass as I wanted to play it unlike Raiden V that I won't play but may get at the sale price if there is no sweet Halloween sale tonight. I'm guessing that as the deals really aren't advertised for Monday's but Tuesday's that if there is a sale it will be tonight. Otherwise next week the Halloween sale would be after Halloween. Hoping for resident evil 5 and 6 along with alien isolation the collection. I can dream.

As for the gaming laptop, I game on my Xbox One/ Wii U combo and have an Asus netbook for everything else. Pleasantly surprised what games it can actually run but obv don't expect to play something like FH3.

 
Was kind of annoyed thinking I wanted to go back an actually finish (or restart) Assassin's Creed II since it is BC and I have no plans to buy the remaster.

Disturbingly I no longer have the disc and am dumbfounded that I didn't pick it up digitally when it was GwG in 2013.

It's $5 used at BB and GS. Does it ever go that low on digital?
 
Wow Titanfall 2 is getting me super hype with all these glowing reviews. I was gonna get it anyway but this is unexpected news, I was honestly thinking the media outlets were going to ravage it.

Ordered this. I remember playing Myth and Myth 2 back on mac in the day and hearing about this Halo game Bungie was working on that was supposed to be amazing. Will be really interesting to see the evolution from being developed as a third person shooter on mac to one of the biggest first person franchises on the original xbox.

Titanfall 2 is the only shooter I'm preordering this fall. I don't like gears multiplayer and I didn't want CoD Ghosts 2 and Battlefield requires you to dedicate a ton of time to each match. I think Titanfall 2 is going to be competing with Overwatch for my shooter of the year.

Time to drink Mt Dew to collect Titanfall 2 caps.

Yeah, it honestly would have been better to hold for March. Going up against BF1 and CoD is stupid.

BF1 I wouldn't think is direct competition since they are so different and both from EA.

I almost think Respawn released Titanfall 2 a week before this years CoD on purpose as a big middle finger to Infinity Ward. I'm interested to see how it turns out for each of them.
 
Boo, I bought Blood Dragon for $5 the other week. Yay, Monkey Island, I bought it from Amazon on PC but never played more than an hour.

fuck Lenovo and their spyware-embedding added. I will never buy one of their products because of that, had to correct my gf when she was laptop/netbook hunting.
 
Ok I've been trying to figure this out since Friday. How do you quit back to the main menu in Battlefield 1 after finishing a multiplayer match? Keeps loading into the next game with seemingly no option to quit. Have just been quitting back to the Xbox dashboard even though I really want to just jump back into the campaign.

I picked up blood dragon also guess when it was on sale for two weeks in a row we should have known something was up. Next time a 360 game stays on sale for two weeks I will not be buying lol.

it just loads into the next game and you back out via the game's main menu

I'll have to look into this. I was pretty deeply versed in all the lore up until Halo 4 released. I lost some interest in Halo then between Halo 4 itself and some questionable additions to the lore, and now they've been releasing so much expanded universe stuff I haven't had time to keep up. I'm curious if they flesh out some of the major additions to canon that were basically throwaway sentences in the Kilo-5 trilogy.
