This is what I'd suggest as well. Disk Management will let you know if Windows is reading the drive at all, and it may just need a letter assigned. Very odd if that's the case that other computers would read it no problem and the W10 machine wouldn't assign it a letter automatically, but stranger things have happened. If it doesn't show up in Disk Management at all, I would try a different USB port.

Tough call. Depends what you like as well as whether you're more of a casual player or a competitive player.

I'd second the suggestion that you try out KI for yourself. You should have access to 2 characters right now for free, Jago and Orchid (coincidentally brother and sister).

KI 3 is pretty Western, imo. Both in aesthetic (basically what would happen if the Darkstalkers franchise was given to Netherrealm, and asked to keep it rated T like Injustice) and in mechanics (lack of super flashy special moves outside of Ultras (which are just PG-Fatalities) for example).

I won't deny MK has a ton of that stuff though. KI is still a fledgling series by comparison in terms of "bells and whistles", though it's starting to get there with the addition of Mimic/Shadow/Gold/Terror skins and further development on the fantastic Shadow Lords mode (it's essentially a rough draft of the Weapon Master mode from SC2 with some RPG elements thrown in).

I agree 100%. I think KI's strength in comparison to MK is that KI is a better competitive fighting game, and MK is a better casual fighting game. KI's got better mechanics, and a variety of good practice modes and ways to "git gud". And MK has better "fun" content, and bells and whistles and such.

While I think the MK community will definitely see a large dip, at least part of that is because WB/Netherrealm will most likely yank MKX from tournaments to shove Injustice 2 down everyone's throats and so the competitive people who are really into it will be forced to move on to make any money. I still think KI has another year or so before going too stale for big tourneys, maybe more if they keep pumping out content.

It says $40 online, but it actually rings up as $20 in store ($18 if you're a PUR member). Just go in store, pick one out and ring it up. No effort required. You don't even need to be a PUR member.

The effort part is trying to get it for free with a PUR-exclusive coupon, and it's a hugely YMMV sort of deal. But even if you fail at getting them to stack the coupon, $20 is a solid price for the thing.

I'm guessing the assumption is that it's a likely candidate to receive awards from that game awards show next week's sale is based on, so it'll probably be on sale because of that. Probably at garbage prices, but if you're already heavily considering paying MSRP, I doubt you'll mind much.

I played through Virginia today and I do not recommend it unless you want some easy achievements. It's out there. It definitely has some style to it which was mildly interesting but about 45 minutes in I dozed off it was so boring. I have enjoyed the few "walking simulators" I have played but this one was worse than most. I would say more but don't want to ruin the story in case someone does play it.

On the bright side, I finally beat the first Mass Effect!!! I used it cure my depression from today's football games. I was sad and Mass Effect made me totally forget about it. What a last hour of that game! It goes from being dialog heavy all game to action packed ending and is sooo much fun.

With a shovel duh. Na I just kept clicking 'load more threads' on the Xbox 360 section in hopes of finding one. It was better than trying to get somebody to talk to me about a 9 year old game so instead of taking somebody back to 07, I went back to 07 myself lol I saw there was a ME3 thread, got happy so I kept loading more and found a ME2 thread. ME1 wasn't too far behind that one, but yeah I did hit the depths of CAG. Was pretty interesting to see some thread titles. I'd recommend taking a trip down the 360 forums for some interesting reads. On bad date nights of course.

If it's a usb 3 drive make sure the win 10 box has the proper usb 3 drivers installed for your motherboard

 
Tried to get the Kinect but no go. They did scan my coupon before scanning the Kinect if that makes a difference. I thought it might not arouse suspicion since they had to grab it from the back anyhow. I just walked out and plan to return later.

I have agree with those that are saying that they were impressed with MS and this was a great sale.
I did buy a few things from it.
With that said, does anyone else feel that it is odd that we are all praising and giddy over this sale when almost all of the items that have a retail release were cheaper on retail/disc?
Some only by like $5, but some were on sale digitally for almost double what they were on retail disc.

I bought the RotTR SP became it was a fantastic price and I wanted to support and encourage putting SPs on sale by themselves.
But they still have a ways to go to get people to go all digital when retail discs are so much cheaper.
Or are they banking on "the convenience" of Not having to swap discs out?

Rare Replay is absolutely worth $10, more so if you have kids. The Viva Piñata games are fantastic, Banjo N&B is criminally underrated, and Conker/Banjo are still tons of fun.

It's the first game I bought for my XB1. The only reason I'd say pass is if you were going to pick up the disc 2-pack with Gears Ultimate instead.

Battlefront, I'd wait. Deluxe just adds a few weapons and it's going to be in EA Vault soon.

With that said, does anyone else feel that it is odd that we are all praising and giddy over this sale when almost all of the items that have a retail release were cheaper on retail/disc?
Some only by like $5, but some were on sale digitally for almost double what they were on retail disc.

I bought the RotTR SP became it was a fantastic price and I wanted to support and encourage putting SPs on sale by themselves.
But they still have a ways to go to get people to go all digital when retail discs are so much cheaper.
Or are they banking on "the convenience" of Not having to swap discs out?

Convenience factor for sure, although some of us gameshare with others and there are opportunities there as well like splitting costs. On the other hand I totally agree that it is a little odd that digital is often more expensive, considering there is a cost they are saving by not printing discs out. They also don't give any of that share to the retailer since sales are direct to customer. I really do not know why they haven't made better use of digital to move more copies of a game.

It's local co-op only and the single player has you juggling two chefs at once. It's challenging even with a friend, but the screw ups are hilarious. My wife is a former chef and loves it. Favorite level so far has rats that steal ingredients and you have to punch them to get it back.

Battlefront is worth it if you can see yourself playing it. I love the game but I don't dive into multiplayer games too much, so that's reserved for when I'm in a "Star Wars mood". Deluxe edition is unnecessary, but the season pass is absolutely worth it as the best maps are all DLC, so get the Ultimate edition and it'll have the Deluxe content anyway.

Rare Replay is a no-brainer at that price, even if you have all the 360 games digitally already.

The XB1 version of Kerbel Space Program wasn't too great, IIRC. You'll need to look more into that on your own.

Inside I hear is great, but I've heard it's short and not much replay value. Wait till it's $5 or GWG.

Battlefront, just get EA Access and wait for the base game to hit the Vault shortly. And find a cheap season pass either via the UE in stores for $20 or from someone in the trading forum.

Rare Replay, yes, it's worth $10.

KSP, no IMO. Last I heard it didn't transfer from PC very well.

 
No clue why, but all this talk about Rare Replay has me thinking about one of the worst looking remasters I've ever seen:

I bought Battlefront base on PS4. Not worth the $2 or so for early access to a couple weapons.

But if you want to play it on Xbox I agree just get EA Access.

Inside will win multiple game of the year awards

i played almost all the big games this year and Inside is my favorite

not sure why microsoft let achievements not end in 5 or 0 but I try to avoid it at all cost, I was really annoyed when borderlands gave me a 1g achievement, luckily the 49g fixed it again

It's the first game I bought for my XB1. The only reason I'd say pass is if you were going to pick up the disc 2-pack with Gears Ultimate instead.

Battlefront, I'd wait. Deluxe just adds a few weapons and it's going to be in EA Vault soon.

Thanks guys. Honestly I just don't think I'll have the time to really enjoy any of these at the moment. Glad to know Rare Replay is worth it but isn't that like 30 games? Even more to add to the backlog. I think I'm good with running through Mafia 3, Watchdogs 2, Titanfall 2, and Forza Horizon 3 right now. Even considering the new Dead Rising in a week or so.

I'm pretty sure Mad Max has achievements like that, not positive tho just quickly looked at list when I bought it

Not sure if you guys saw but Best Buy GCU is working now and a lot of the black friday deal prices are still good so its 20% off them now.

 
Maximilian talked about MVC4 rumor in a video. To sum it up, logo for MVC4 looks super fake. Source for the news is supposed to be good though.  

I doubt Sony would invest in another fighting game so soon after SFV performed way under expectations. Unless they are banking on Marvel's recent movie success. If it is real, I'm hoping it won't be console exclusive. Sony is good at making games look console exclusive then they aren't.
