Nothing there for me. I almost feel dirty playing on PS4, but Pro. If/wehn I get the game it'll likely be PCMR version.

Thing is, I love crafting in games. Love Minecraft/Terraria/etc. Stardew just moves so fucken slow for me. Perhaps one day I will go back to it.

I might get Yonder today for PS4. I like that it is a 3D world.

Glad to see some talk about punk on CAG. Rough Francis sounds great, just looked into them a bit. It's not just one son, it's three brothers who are sons of a member of death (who played with his brother in death). That's awesome.

 
I've already downloaded the Destiny 2 Beta from the JP store and it is ready to go.  Is it reasonable to think I would be safe to participate in the :xb1: Beta with this install or would I for some reason need to generate a code for it at bungie.net?  I would like generate a code for :pc: to see how the game plays there also.

I've got VF2 and Quantum. VF2 is a good game with relatively easy achievements, 100%'d it a while ago. Haven't touched Quantum yet.

Quantum's got 2 DLCs that are $3 each that haven't gone on sale so hopefully they'll go on sale now.

Since VF2 is BC that only leaves Fighting Vipers and the original VF5 to go BC before they finish the set of SEGA fighters/AM2 games. I'm still hoping they'll add that Japan-exclusive Virtual-On to BC since they added the other one.

With the news that Aaron Flynn leaves Bioware and Casey Hudson returns to take over the company, I hope this bodes well for Anthem but mainly for Mass Effect.

Hope he gives the franchise a second chance even if that means sweeping Andromeda under the rug (which I hope they don't do but hey...at this point, and with reports/rumors that the franchise is indefinitely on ice, is better than nothing I guess).

I just don't want Mass Effect to go to limbo like Dead Space did.

Frontier Defense on Titanfall 1 is fun but very hard on some maps. So I wonder why they don't ever add any achievements to the TItanfall 2 title updates? Maybe Respawn is showing some mercy after Titanfall. It has to be one of the hardest full completions on the Xone.

Frontlines, lol hey that game I got cheap from Gamefly all those years ago and it sits on my physical gaming shelf. QC hitting BC is cool though.

Also hell ya to that Titanfall 2 Frontier Defense, that looks sick. Might be time I joined a Titanfall 2 club.

I got a bunch of free Logitech gear from that game, so I'm fine with it going BC. Still have my copy.

(got a G5, G15, X-540 5.1 speaker set, and a z-2300 2.1 set)

I'd think you're fine. The Bungie.net code just gives a download key for the beta. I doubt they're keeping track beyond if you have access to the download or not, since the US page just says not available yet.

Man, this could have a lot of implications. Maybe Flynn was forced to resign, with EA panicking about the state of Bioware and offering Hudson a lot of money to come back. Or maybe Hudson didn't like the shift to working on whatever Hololens actually entails and wanted to come back, so the dropped the new lead to make room for him. Or maybe the possibility of working on Star Wars had an effect.

As for Mass Effect itself, I don't know if anyone in Bioware would have full say over this. I guarantee Visceral would have kept making Dead Space over Battlefield had the franchise not been killed by EA.

Looking at my 360 collection and I think I only need Scene It (the XBLA one), Deathsmiles II and Soul Calibur to go on sale and then I can basically say I have all the 360 games I want.

So in short, they will never go on sale and I will never buy them full price and my cheapo 360 collection will never be complete. We are in a weird stalemate.

Yeah, there are several possible scenarios that led to Flynn leaving and Hudson returning. Of those, I'm pretty sure a hefty check was one of the reasons. The others are just speculations. When the guy who ran Arkane Studios left, everyone just assumed he was forced out due to the low sales Dishonored 2 and the new Prey had, but he denied it and claimed it was simply time to move on. I guess we'll never know why Flynn's really leaving.

Although 5 years ago, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk (two of Bioware's co-founders) left shortly after the ME3 ending debacle and while they made no mention of that being one of the reasons, Trent Oster (another co-founder) said he believed the fan reaction, deserved or not, took out the joy out of them in working in the video game industry.

Now, in regards to Mass Effect's future; since ME was Hudson's brainchild, he probably won't be able to do anything about it for now as there's no indication that MEA is getting additional content outside of APEX missions. And with all efforts being pooled into Anthem and the rumored new Dragon Age, it might be a while. But at least the franchise's creator is there, running the company. So maybe one far off day........

Does anyone here still use xbox fitness? My console shows that there is an update available for it but I'm wondering if it will shut down access to the service - they said earlier it would be ending in June. I still have access to the programs I paid for and the free downloads, just no leaderboards.

Gone on Steam as well. I wonder if they're pulling the plug on the MP.

Edit: Steam version apparently got 3 new MP achievements, so maybe not.

I missed out on this but I did get a free 4-month offer from Xbox Live Rewards. They had me sign up for the 1-month free trial and they're supposed to send me a code for 3 more months. The email said it was for first time users only. The email subject was "Ready to turn up the volume on YOUR game, name here?".
 
Yeah I got in on that 4 month extended trail for Groove Music but after it was done I pretty much just only used it in Forza Horizon 3 and well you can just use background music of your tunes when playing the game. I listened a little with the playlists they made or popular songs and what not but ultimately went back to my own music library (I'm weird like that). Still wish you could play music from a networked PC like you could do with the 360, I used that feature all the time.

 
The Groove Music 'Buy 1 Month Get 3 (or 4) Free' offer seems to be targeted on the Xbox dashboard. I still saw it on both my accounts before I resubscribed during the Prime Day sale. When I play Forza Horizon 3, I would see an ad for it in-game as well.

Not sure if everyone knows this in Forza Horizon 3: If you make Playlists on any Groove app, when you play FH3 you can go into the music options (don't remember where it is exactly) and change Groove to play your selected Playlist(s) rather than the default random rotation.
