So for those of you that got the 30 day trial for game pass from T-Mobile, and used it before the expiration date.  The free trial ends tomorrow, do I have to specifically end the subscription or will it just end on its own?

It will end on its own. Just like when you redeem Live subscription codes instead of paying with a CC, your Live will just end at expiration.

Thanks for the reminder. Didn't realize it has been a month already. Time to clear out my hard drive. :)

I guess they updated the story to say that's the Japanese date, NA/EU is a bit later still sadly.

Off the top of my head I only remember weapon DLC, a BOW version of a certain character for Raid mode, and a female version of Hunk. Nothing mind blowing, I wish they would have kept up the effort in RE and RE0 remasters, that both added some kind of new content.

1080 is an upgrade, but new players should keep in mind this is still a port of a game that was originally on the 3DS. Much of the level geometry in the game is fairly simple because of this, but they do a decent job of working with it and the HD upgrades of the 360/PS3 version were pretty good.

I'll pick this up again eventually as I really liked the first Revelations, a lot of stuff more than the second, but will wait for a sale. Definitely check it out if you haven't played it before.

To be fair, the RE1-0 games were more full-on remakes which just used assets from the originals (like the pre-rendered backgrounds). Revelations got remastered for consoles, and this is an upscaled port of a remaster (phew). At least they're adding something to it, unlike all the lazy upscaled ports Capcom has been releasing lately (Dead Rising and RE4-6).

I loved it on 3DS and would replay it on X1 once it goes on sale, plus it would be nice to have so many of the modern games on one system.

To be fair, the RE1-0 games were more full-on remakes which just used assets from the originals (like the pre-rendered backgrounds). Revelations got remastered for consoles, and this is an upscaled port of a remaster (phew). At least they're adding something to it, unlike all the lazy upscaled ports Capcom has been releasing lately (Dead Rising and RE4-6).

I loved it on 3DS and would replay it on X1 once it goes on sale, plus it would be nice to have so many of the modern games on one system.

I really want them to keep on the remaster train and throw up the classic games, at least 2 and 3. I know we're getting a remake of 2, and if it's actually fixed cameras then I won't miss out on the original so much, but I'm pretty skeptical that it will be at this point. I'm not sure if they can just do a simple emulation because they do have PS1 button icons in there, but I think more stuff could go this route in the future, at least from Capcom.

I just watched this last night, a very interesting talk about emulation and it's commercial possibilities in general, but starting at the time code here he talks about what went into the creation of the Mega Man Legacy Collection and their way of getting around companies being pissy about using straight emulation of old hardware on modern systems. Their technique sounds like it would be usable on more than just NES games. Now Digital Eclipse did both the first MMLC, and Disney Afternoon collection, but aren't doing MMLC 2. I wonder if this was because of MM9 and 10, or maybe the PS1 game.

This is especially good because this the last SFIV version the Xbox received. Since we never got Ultra this is the best option we could get. Ultra did have balance changes, but at least we'll have all the characters now.

Supposedly RE2 is going to be a 100% remake and might even be using an over-the-shoulder camera more akin to RE4. The RE0-1 remakes were able to use the Gamecube assets because they were already really detailed / remade back then, but they had to zoom them in slightly to fit 16:9 and chop some of the image out.

No such assets exist for RE2, only the low-res shitty looking PS1 backgrounds, so the whole game is being remade from the ground up. It was only the positive reception of the new games that let them greenlight a project of that magnitude, and I'm pretty fucking stoked about it.

I really hope an X collection follows the MMLC2, and then a collection for MM Legends 1-2 and Tron Bonne. Just get them emulating at 1080p with achievements and I'll be happy.

Xbox got Ultra, it also added some xTekken characters and Omega mode, the best thing to ever happen to SF4 that sadly never caught on,

Well this allows for the ULTRA DLC to work as well so now anything is possible.

So with the ULTRA DLC working I'm just waiting for a PS4 comparison, because this "feels" like the definitive version, but I know going BC can add some input lag to certain titles that they've fixed with patches/updates to the emulator before.

I'm just worried about the format of RE2 Remake. I hope it's in the style of the original REmake, keeping the same basic game design as the original with level design changes, New mechanics on top, and all new assets. It's already a bummer they aren't using the original Claire or current Leon voice actors. I'd just vastly prefer the fixed cameras, though I'd probably only be upset if they have first-person. I'm fine with a new game like 7 with it, but it's too big of a change for a classic game.

I'm hoping we finally see it at Gamescom, or Tokyo Game Show at the latest.

I totally forgot, guess I'm just thinking of the PS4 exclusive port. Maybe I'll pick up that Ultra DLC then. I was hoping V was timed exclusive but have given up at this point.

Really, I want Turbo HD Remix. I think Ultra SF2 flopped so maybe it has a chance now. Nothing holding up Third Strike though.

I tried a bunch of stuff to get my 360 stick working through Windows 10 streaming, but it seems impossible since it wasn't a first party device.

I was never good at SF IV or atleast consider myself good so I don't care for SF IV to go BC.I just want 3rd Strike to go BC so I can continue to whoop fools with Sean,Ryu,Ken and Hugo :)

Oh man so does that mean if it's just me on my Xbox I don't have to continuously tell it that it's me when it asks who are you? One of my biggest gripes, finally nixed as my Xbox will know it's me just by powering on the controller? Huzzah (although you'd think this would be "a thing" already)!

anyone know much about killer intinct and its seasons?

so i recently bought the combo breaker pack of season 3 since i already owned all the charaters from seasons 1 and 2 and I see theres 3 other characters outside of the 8 charcters you get with the season 3 combo breaker pack:

Eagle, Kilgore, and Shin Hisako

anyone know if they plan on putting these characters in a pack together too or if theres even more characters coming out?

I'd think these three will eventually be in some kind of pack, but they haven't said. We don't know if more characters are coming for sure either. Eagle just came out so no new teasing has started. They're done doing DLC in a season structure so I think they're just playing it by ear now.

EVO starts tomorrow and that would be the perfect place to announce something for a fighter, but KI isn't one of the main games and I don't know if Microsoft or Iron Galaxy will have an official presence there. There was a donation drive to get a spot on the main stage, but KI was an extremely distant third behind UMvC3 and Pokken.

 
Street Fighter never showed up in my ready to install list for some reason. Had to go to the store page to install it. Thats a first. Drove me nuts for awhile.

If you bought the Combo Breaker for $20, you dun goofed. Should have bought the Definitive Edition, it was on sale for $24 last week iirc.

Definitive Edition includes Shadow Jago (not in S1/S2/S3 packs) and it got announced recently they are adding Eagle, Kilgore and Shin Hisako to the Definitive Edition for FREE because the Steam version of the Defnitive Edition is going to include them and they didn't want Xbone/W10 people to feel ripped off.

Anyone heard anything on if the X1X will be offered in bundles?  I can't recall off the top of my head if the PS4 Pro is offered in any.  Would be cool to package it with one of the big fall releases.

A Crackdown bundle would make sense, but bet on a Halo or Gears bundle instead
