Considering the Supergiant’s last game, Transistor, never came to Xbox One, I doubt Pyre will either. Kind of sad considering Transistor DID go to mobile.

Not to rub it in, but I am playing Pyre on PS4 and it is fantastic so hopefully I’m wrong.

Playing Path of Exile beta, it's not grabbing me yet. Marvel Heroes feels more fun to start, but I'm hesitant to get too into it because it reeks of cashgrabs.

Yeah I keep thinking about it on Steam but I don't know what's up with Supergiant games. No Transistor on Xbox 1 but they did release that Bastion free upgrade if you had the 360. So who knows, I'll just play the waiting game.

I really enjoyed Marvel Heros so far, it's way closer to Diablo 3 than Path of Exile. PoE feels like more Diablo 1 or 2. I don't really know how you can call it a cashgrab when they give you so much for free. The only thing I've bought is some extra inventory slots for quality of life, but you could also grind those out if one wanted to I believe.

 
I think if Pyre was coming to Xbox it would be at launch. They haven't really hinted multiple platforms and it was the same situation for Transistor. I think a Switch port would be more likely. Indies seem to be more interested there, I think it could be a perception that the userbases of PS4/Switch are more unique than PS4/Xbox.

I finally caved and bought Transistor on Steam during the summer sale. Pyre weird sports gameplay angle has turned me off pretty hard, so I don't know if I'll play it or not. It is nice to hear it's longer than Bastion and Transistor though.

I think if Pyre was coming to Xbox it would be at launch. They haven't really hinted multiple platforms and it was the same situation for Transistor. I think a Switch port would be more likely. Indies seem to be more interested there, I think it could be a perception that the userbases of PS4/Switch are more unique than PS4/Xbox.

I finally caved and bought Transistor on Steam during the summer sale. Pyre weird sports gameplay angle has turned me off pretty hard, so I don't know if I'll play it or not. It is nice to hear it's longer than Bastion and Transistor though.

I thought the sports angle seemed odd but it’s actually a lot of fun and still has some elements of action RPG combat like ranged attacks. It’s unique and was a big risk to do but it worked out really well IMO.

Read a review just now and it sounds pretty amazing. Exactly the kind of weird game that I'm likely to enjoy.

I think that means if it performs well it could get an Xbox version. Hard to say yet, I've seen people talking about it but not a huge amount. It's coming out at a decent time so it isn't buried in the fall and the low price will help. Even now it has competition. I'd say Quake Champions is probably the closest competition and it's free, though in beta still. Overwatch, while pretty different is still being compared to it a lot, is only $10 more on PC and still going strong.

Everything about LawBreakers could go weird due to it's unorthodox publisher. Nexon has pretty much only done F2P stuff before, I'm still shocked Cliffy was able to convince them to go to a paid model when the game was first announced as free. At $30 microtransactions seems like given, though Cliff is smart enough to keep them cosmetic only. If it uses this to make future maps and characters free I'd say it has a good chance of doing well for a while.

I'm being serious, but what did they give for free other than Daredevil and a loot box when I logged in today? I'm turned off by how pricey characters are and splinters don't drop particularly fast. I've got maybe a dozen characters to 10 and have collected 30 splinters.
 
Adding to path of exile beta discussion I kind of see (once per page).

Has been fun. Feels very diablo like w more typical RPG elements.

I like customaizatin but damn there is a bit too much going on in terms of perks. There is a lot going on for a console game (I know it is for PC).
 
Bought 3 months of Gold to play with my wife yesterday not in splitscreen. Didn't get a reminder email that my Gold was running out, so I didn't know for over a week. Haven't been playing Xbox lately due to my job being absolutely bonkers.

Then after buying the 3 months of Gold through Xbox, a $2 Gold offer starts showing up and the 3 month didn't even work all night even though it shows in my subscriptions.

How is Path of Exile compared to Victor Vran? I liked Victor more than Diablo.
 
I'm finally playing through The Turing Test. Similar to Portal in that it's a first person puzzle game. The puzzles are a lot of fun. The story... Well it has a robot who likes to say 'deep' things like "Free will is an illusion." I think he missed his true calling as a character in The Matrix Reloaded.

Giving up on Adventures of Pip. It's a fun game in some ways but there's no excuse for not having a checkpoint on every screen. I just have no patience for games that make you redo a bunch of the level when you die.

 
PoE is very old school compared to all the new Diablo like games. It feels much slower and more like d1&2. All the newer games are much faster paced.

I've got more splinters it seems. I've had enough to buy captain marvel and hawkeye so far, and a 3rd I'm forgetting at the moment. I'm on my lvl 24 of my first prestige of Black Widow.

 
Looks like Cosmic Star Heroine is going to be hitting XBox One eventually. From the makers of Breath of Death and Cthulhu Saves the World. Supposed to be good although a bit more expensive compared to their past game (assuming more people working on it, bigger budget.) $15.

I thought Grow Home Up looked fun for a change of pace, but dang, the controls are awful. Really floaty and imprecise, makes it a chore to do some of the most basic platforming stuff. Your robot guy has to do a lot of climbing, it works but it's never fun to climb. Shame, I wanted to like it.

I told myself I was not going to buy Fortnite, but I won a $25 Visa Gift card for my work anniversary and my friends are playing it. So I thought what the hell and bought a copy of the standard edition. Downloading it now, but looks fun.

Loved Bastion and Transistor but I just can't get into Pyre. Played through Cosmic Star Heroine on PC, would play through it again if it came to Xbox. I bought the developers other RPGs on the indie store on 360 lol
