2: Depends on what kind of server you play, if you play on a PVE server and lock all your containers nobody can steal stuff, on PVP they can destroy/take your stuff, but you get the choice
3: Yes you can play the full game solo, it's the same game but you don't have to worry about land being claimed, it makes some things easier and others harder (like taming bigger creatures and doing the caves)
4: The deluxe edition comes with the season pass which is Scorched Earth + 2 unreleased DLCs

The manga's ending is better. They changed it a bit for the anime though I don't really know why as the rest of the show is pretty close other than some EXTREME added like the potato chip scene. Maybe they thought it was too dark or something.

As for anime nerds, Death Note was one of those shows that surpassed the anime scene and blew up with mainstream audiences, like the more recent Attack on Titan. Not that surprising for someone that doesn't watch much anime to end up liking it.

Death Note is one of my favorite animes and the early trailers had me cautiously optimistic for the netflix film but it's not good. Besides both Light & L being nothing like their source characters other than the most surface comparisons they somehow managed to completely miss the boat on Ryuk which I thought would be the one sure bet. I still don't understand why they didn't just take the basic premise of a Death Note and do something different than the manga/anime with different characters. You could go a hundred different ways with that and have maybe come up with something better than this dreck.

 
Why they decided to squeeze 1,100 minutes of story into a 100 minute movie I'll never figure out. If anyone is interested in Death Note, please please please watch the anime instead of the movie. While the Death Note movie isn't as bad as the Dragon Ball live action movie, it was just as disappointing.

 
I feel like I'm the only one that kind of liked the death note movie. The trick is not to compare it. The anime is far and away better but I thought the ending for the movie was really good

I don't think it's his cardio, it's the lack of experience. Mayweather knows he is playing the long game so he just plays turtle in those early rounds while McGregor wore himself out throwing missed punches. McGregor needed to reserve some of that energy. Hopefully Mayweather can spend that $59,000/second he made.

Not being able to preload a free weekend play title is moronic.

Wanted to preload Siege Thursday night but they didn't activate it until sometime Friday. My download was taking forever and I decided at 48% it's not worth it since tomorrow I'm gonna be busy out in the fields (we finally have dry weather, sorry Hurricane folks). Cancelled, missed opportunity.

It's more of a violent stealth game than dungeon crawler. I was really surprised by how dark the story actually gets. It's about a detective whose wife is murdered and children are abducted. While searching for his kids, he uncovers a huge network of people who are kidnapping children to cannibalize them. Basically, you try to find and rescue kidnapped kids before they are killed while taking out members of the network without being seen. Each level has a different 'boss' psycho that you have to defeat and as you progress in the game you find out more about how far the corruption of the city goes.

Life is Strange & Mario x Rabbids for me. I played enough of Recore to know even with these fixes I have zero interest in firing it back up. Resident Evil Revelations is a solid RE game but I doubt I would ever play it again.

 
Pillars of Eternity is $49.99, actually, which makes it a great deal with GCU at $39.99 including all of the DLC that has some out.

Probably the only thing I’ll pick up this week (and downloading the Recore update).

Could use some advice. I bought Battlefield hardline Premium on the 22nd for $12.50. Tried to play it last night and turns out it doesn't even include the base game. Was racking my head trying to figure out why I couldn't play the game. What a crock of bullshit. How do you have a premium package and not include the game?

Anyways, can I get a refund and should I or should I just hold on to it until the base game goes on sale?

 
Baja Out of Control is yet another remake of a very mediocre game. Wish we could get HD versions of games like Split Second or even Blur. Think the division of Disney that made Split Second is now defunct though.
 
Update: apparently bb just screwed the pooch with Madden pre-order bonus codes. Pm the bby-gaming inbox on their forums following the instructions they posted and you'll get your code. I got mine within 30 minutes.

Yeah, Feral Fury is a port of a mobile game that’s very similar to Binding of Issac but falls short. Not a bad game by any means. Might pick it up on the One when it’s $2.

IIRC, Premium is what Battlefield calls its season pass. At least it did for BF3 and 4, so it’s not the whole game.

Fire up a support chat. Can't hurt to ask. I got a refund when I bought the wrong version of a full game. They said it was a one time courtesy. DLC might be different. Worst they can say is no.

Unless you think you will eventually get the base game anyway. Then just hold onto I guess if it is a decent price.

Hardline will probably be $5 again before too long, or you could grab an EA Access sub.

Unless you want to go one of those routes, I'd try talking to a CSR and getting a refund. They might shoot you down, but it's worth trying.
 
I'm getting Killing Floor this week for sure, I want RE Revelations and Redout as well but will wait on them for a bit most likely, lots of stuff though haha

 
I bought that old Game Of Thrones game when it was on sale a few weeks ago and just started playing it. I gotta say, it's not half bad. The graphics are really dated and the combat is a poor man's Dragon Age (passable, at least) but the story is really good​. I don't regret dropping a few bucks on this. I on Reddit that Bethesda is working on a GoT game, should be awesome.

I'll eventually get Recore, Life Is Strange 2 and RE:Rev, but when they go on sale. I'm still playing a ton of Fortnite and don't really want to play other stuff right now.
 
A few items I'm interested in coming out this week, but will wait for steep discounts on.  I just beat Resident Evil Revelations on 360 this past May, but the online community was dead at that point.  I'll likely get it at it's first sale and hope the online community is there for its Raid Mode which kinda sucked doing solo...If anybody is getting it and wanna party up, let me know!
 
I'm considering Life is Strange at full price (whaaat?!) because I really enjoyed the first one, and I'm doing a new playthrough this week so I'm sure that hype will make me purchase it.  It's gonna be weird because I've never bought episodic games as they come out...I only buy them when they're complete.  This will be a new experience for me if I decide to do it.  $16.99 isn't too bad considering the first game is pretty epic.  $8 more for music and costumes though?  Na I'm good.

I don't recall the digital version of ReCore going below $20, so I wouldn't hold my breath for a vastly improved-upon version of the game going on sale for a long time.
 
Pre-ordered Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition.

It scored so well on PC - and the controls and UI look well-implemented on console in this demo video.

I pre-ordered because I know how important first-week sales are in determining whether a release was a success or not, and I really hope we see more of this franchise on Xbox in the future.

(Also pre-ordered Yakuza: Kiwami on PS4.)

Wanted to avoid it, but wife and I caught the Fortnite itch. If I get the $100 upgrade, does that apply to both accounts with game share? Deluxe Edition (or maybe pre-order bonus) for Garden Warfare 2 did.
 
I finally started GoT last week. I'm like halfway through season 3 currently. My main concern about this potential GoT game is the ability of Bethesda to make big cities on their shit engine. The biggest town that they've made lately is probably Diamond City, and there are maybe 15 buildings there. I guess I could see Winterfell being done fine, but unless they throw in a bunch of loading zones then King's Landing doesn't seem feasible. 

I don't really see Bethesda straight up adopting the plot of the books or movies, as there are too many stories revolving around too many characters that are spread too far apart geographically. So assuming you are some random new character, I wonder if it will be set before, during, or after. Will you be connected to a specific royal family, have a choice between them, or a nobody entirely?

The other possible issue I see cropping up is the overall much darker tone GoT has than Elder Scrolls and Bethesda hasn't really done nudity before, let alone sex.

Have you played with the town mods? They make the city's much bigger. I could see them using the mods people have created and just slapping it into their games. Hell people did the work for them for free.

Its basically going to be skryim with a map change to game of thrones.
 
Redout and possibly Metronomicon will be on the radar for future sales. Otherwise, only Life Is Strange for me. Was going to be a definite day one but with replacing my head gasket on the horizon I fear that may need to be on the backburner.

 
Any opinions on if Injustice 2 or Prey are worth it at the current sale prices?
Im tempted, but not too sure.
Also I know theyve been cheaper physical, but I am 100% digital this gen.
