I'm pretty sure you don't get a choice when you have an X. I believe the patches download automatically.

 
I enjoyed what I’ve played of For Honor, but it has a bit of a learning curve. So not playing it consistently, I end up having to reacquaint myself every time which kind of puts me off from playing. That said the controls are clever and game is fun and unique. Just too many other games to play.

It automatically applies the patches. I played Gears 4 campaign yesterday on 1080p 60fps....holy Lord, you can see the difference easily. On my set, at least. Playing the campaign in 60fps is jaw dropping. I can never go back to 30fps.

Hitman has ruined Oblivion for me, though I'll say that I didn't have a high opinion of Oblivion in the first place. I just want to follow civilians around until they're alone and kill them, take their stuff, and run off before anybody else sees anything.

Agents of Mayhem got its X patch today.

• HDR Support
• Renders always at 1440p instead of 900p (hardware will scale up to 4k or down to 1080p depending on type of display)
• Higher resolution cubemaps for enhanced reflections
• Render particles are now at full screen resolution instead of half-resolution
• Highest LOD of all meshes are used regardless of distance
• Higher resolution shadow maps
• Higher quality volumetric fog
• Increased the maximum cap on spawned peds from 40 to 60
 
Just a word of warning to anyone considering buying Fusion Frenzy at $5: don't.

It shows $5 on the product page, but $10 when you try to actually purchase it. I noticed it while I had the spinning circle while processing my debit card, and I quickly closed my browser. I was somehow quick enough for it to not go through yet.

Nice. Think I’m up to 32 X enhanced games now. Of course, some are F2P that I don’t play very much or at all but downloaded them again just because I want more X!

I already know about the "X1XE: True" flag. I mentioned it in the post you quoted. I'm not sure what else I can do to give an example of what I'm after since I already posted screenshots. I've made it as clear as I can both here and on other websites and nobody can give me an answer for something that should be simple.

At this point...can someone playing Titanfall 2 on an X just post a screenshot of what they see when they highlight the game on the My Games menu and press start+select+both bumpers? Please?

I'm having the same issue, my only games that have the 4k update are forza and halo wars 2. AC:O, halo 5, gears 4, and many others are no go. I can't seem to find any answer as to why this is, it seems like we are in a small group that is affected.

Load up Gears 4 and see if you have new graphics options on the in-game menu

I'll try to do this for you tonight. I don't know if it will help the problem, though.

Also, I enjoy For Honor, but I also suck at it. I got in on the Gold Edition at Target as well and basically made it a flip while getting to keep the whole shebang digitally.

Try out the free weekend. I don't know if it includes the single player.

Thanks - I know it may not help the problem, but I just want to see if other people are having the same issue or not. If it's not just me with the issue I'll feel slightly better about it.

Whoever said it's like Mario Party is spot on. It's still to this day one of my favorite OG Xbox games. Had one of my buddies over this weekend and played the game what roughly 10 years since we did last and had a great time.

Up to 4 players local and if you don't have 4 it automatically uses ai bots. Just play endless mini games that are easy enough for kids or wives to play but there are some harder ones that require precision timing and button presses.

The game is super fun and I would have legit paid $20 to have it on my Xbox one. It ran like crap when it was emulated on the 360 but as is well documented runs beautifully on the Xbox One.

May the Titanfall franchise survive during this difficult time.

(I don’t hate EA, I own every EA game. It is just not a good longterm outlook for the studios they acquire.)

Have a feeling EA had a good amount of control over them to begin with despite not “owning” them. They’re putting down a ton of cash though so hopefully it’ll pan out provided they don’t turn the Titanfall franchise and upcoming Star Wars game into micro transaction laden pieces of shit.

Respawn could have done wonders if they had their hands on the campaign portion of Battlefront 2 instead of the dull one we got. Titanfall 2’s campaign is still one of my favorites of the year.

RIP. Now I'm wondering if EA deliberately chose to release Titanfall 2 at that time knowing that it would get more competition and weaker sales. That would lower the valuation of Respawn, making it easier for them to take it over. Titanfall is one of my favorite franchises.

 
I see a lot of people saying "why not MS," but apparently EA had first right of refusal on all acquisition offers, so MS wasn't going to be buying them unless EA basically let them go.

Maybe not Respawn but MS does need to step up with some acquisitions to get more exclusives. And from recent interviews, it sounds like they’re heading in that direction.

Good luck, I've been asking pretty much the same thing since last week for the same reasons and I want able to get anyone to do that. But I'm a "lurker", so you might get better luck, being part of the clique.

From what I've gathered though is that not all the games that are X1XE: True have their patches out yet. I'm not able to download any Titanfall 2 patch neither for the moment, but that's on my 1S and I've been having problems getting the 1X patches period, and yes I've checked the 4k option in my settings.

 
If all future games, as 2K has talked about doing it for their future games as well, go the loot box/in-game currency/item packs microtransaction route, it looks like I'll be taking a break at picking up modern games and just sit on my large large backlog for a while.

I kinda assumed they were already in-house devs for EA, too, like Bioware. EA owns the Titanfall IP regardless, right? So it's not like Respawn could make Titanfall 3 without EA.

After Mass Effect got canned and Visceral was dissolved, though, I'm not excited by this news.

Same exact scenario for me.

The frustrating thing is people continually telling me "X1XE: True" means it's enhanced. X1XE: True means nothing to the player or content installed on the console, that just means that the game is classified as X1X enhanced on Microsoft's end.

I thought I downloaded the 4k stuff on my S external hard drive before I sold the console, but even after deleting and redownloading the entire game on my X, I'm still not seeing any applied "enhanced updates" other than for Halo 5.

I finished the Battlefront 2 prequel book yesterday and liked it. A good SW thriller. Still planning on playing through the campaign with the Access trial.

You still think "X1XE: True" means the game has installed the enhanced assets, so you don't know what you're talking about. I can install Halo 5 off the disc as-is, before I take any updates, and it'll still say X1XE: True if I view the data on the My Games menu.

So please, stop "helping."

Only that the game will show on the "enhanced games" menu. Which does not mean that your game is enhanced, just that there is an enhancement for it if you haven't downloaded already. At that, it's false and screwed up anyway. All enhanced games don't say "Scorpio" in the description, either
