Lost Planet 1 was great, the cold element really added a tense dramatic atmosphere that set it apart. It also had fighting mechs and giant monsters so that's also a plus. They completely threw that out of the handbook for LP2 & I heard LP 3 was so not good that it killed the franchise.

Crackdown 1 is good, I really liked it, but eh maybe it is nostalgia. I played it when it was the add-on to that Halo 3 Beta. I've enjoyed hours playing this game, it's so good with the RPG elements while shooting/jumping/driving around. There's a story which will have you gunning for the top gang leaders, exploding certain environments or taking out certain enemies is a lot of fun - so much so that they let you true that all back on once you finish the game. You're a full blown super hero, seriously in parts feeling like a bounding Hulk, and can make a gang member's worst day feel like Hell. I have Crackdown 2 but never fealt the need to start it - I know they really played up the zombies angle and that's not Crackdown. Looking forward to Crackdown 3 and I know they know they messed up with 2 so they'll be going more the ways of the original anyways, so in-fact I might never play Crackdown 2 lol.

BK is a great little wacky Japanese game to play in-between gaming sessions of your AAA catalog. This game is all about rolling things up, exponentially getting bigger and able to grab bigger items in the process. A good stress reliever game imo, although a few levels were a bit stressful with the time limit.

Also read this opinion piece on SW:BF II/EA, thought it was interesting because yeah we are seeing a pattern with EA handled properties over the years it seems.

Just one man typing here, but I still have more fun with NBA Jam than I've had with Playground. Unless you want to have more current NBA players I wouldn't pick it up even at half price. That's just, like, my opinion, man.

Adding to the disc quality debate regarding Gamefly: I've purchased probably 30+ 360 and PS3 games from them, all in mint condition. Not a single scratch on a single one. They did lose one game though. I wanted to buy a PS3 game that wasn't for sale, but was available to keep. So as soon as it shipped I told them I wanted to keep it. I only ever received the empty case, the game that should have shipped first in their mailer never showed up. I had to contact them to send me a new copy. So I ended up with an extra case for Resistance: Fall of Man.

1. Great game! Meh gameplay (another one of those typical GoW clones) with a great setting and story. An absolute steal at that price.

2. Basically an interactive anime. Had a blast playing through it but be warned the actual ending is locked behind a DLC (Part IV). Plus it has some semi-essential DLC in between as well. Basically, fun game with the typical Capcom bullshit

3. A lot of people say it reminded them of Zelda(?) but I didn't enjoy it. Look at Youtube.

6. Could also use some opinions on Lost Planet.

7. Crackdown 1 was GwG. Didn't enjoy it, mainly because it was really dated. Play Saints Row IV. Very similar and more enjoyable imo.

9. Weird game where you're a spherical object. Got about halfway through before motion sickness (lol) started to set in. I don't think it's worth owning digitally.

Depends how much you enjoyed AC IV. It's basically an expansion pack for 4 and I think it's the shortest of any of the mainline AC games. Pretty much the same setting, same mechanics, almost the same types of weapons. But, it's a great story and I would definitely recommend it at the price.

Yup thought about Playgrounds but I have NBA Jam with the Time is Money unlock almost everything DLC. Even though I could use a free $5 Xbox money to discount Playgrounds even more, I’ll wait till it get cheaper or free. I think Playgrounds also has a DLC that unlocks everything.
 
While I loved the Crackdown games, they have 2 huge problems.

1. Crackdown 1 feels likes a B- game that could  very easily be AAA if they just added a little more personality to the gang bosses. After taking a a couple of them down you've pretty much seen most of the game. Gaining stronger powers keeps things  interesting but that's it. The bosses have no real personality and you don't have have interesting missions leading up to them. You just level up until your strong enough to storm a stronghold and that's pretty much it. 

Crackdown 2 is one of the laziest sequels ever. They used the exact same map and it had the  same generic vibe as the last game. It's still a fun game, it's just a case where the gameplay vastly outshines every other part of the game.

2. Saints Row 4 took the super-powered angle and fucking murdered both games and Crackdown 3 is still terrified to show itself. Seriously, Saints Row 4 is Crackdown done right.

I replayed the story before the sequel came out and that stuff's still decent but it really hasn't aged well even in the PS4 port. If it's cheap enough you want to check out the story still then go for it but there's really not a lot of reason to get it over 2 otherwise.

I ran around playing Crackdown 1 & 2 but those ORBS would just distract me.

That sound effect was perfect.

SR4 is much better though. I did see a lot of orbs in that game as well.

I never did really get far in the game after Crackdown 1 and 2 i played Web Of Shadows.

I collected 1000 emblems in that game and it resets them all so you can do it again.

it broke me of my orb collecting.

Loot Boxes have nothing on Orb Collecting

Liked merely for bringing up Web of Shadows. Holy fuck, I love that game.

 
Currently thinking about tons of Black Friday games, but the one that troubles me the most is Skyrim. I played ~100 hours of it on 360, bought all the DLC, but hadn't finished the main story or touched the DLCs besides the building one. I killed folks and robbed folks, got wolfie with it, got hitched, built a house, and was working on hunting down the last few daedric artifacts.

I didn't really play it after getting an Xbox One, but had thought it would go BC and I'd get back to it then. But here we are, still no BC in sight and it's only $20 digital for the complete edition with DLC. I think I'm finally to the point where I can stomach starting all over again, but I need to consider it a little longer. I swear, if I buy it and it goes BC anytime in the next six months I'll be so pissed.

Just want to give a heads up if you go with the Deus Ex season pass, the exclusive season pass items only show up on one play through meaning if you were to start a new game, you can't use those items.

I have a hard time believing anyone in government is taking this seriously (unless they want to try to regulate it somehow), but let's see where this goes.

Not exactly the case. It's just the consumables like the ammo and praxis kits you can only use once, the weapons carry over to any playthrough.

Buy it and add the mods. You won't get achievements but the mods make it so much more fun.
