Looks like they broke SmartGlass Beta for anyone who was still using it.  It no longer shows the sale prices when you go to purchase things on it.

 
Looks like XBL Rewards is still showing me as silver when I'm gold.  Just made a post on the forums, hopefully they can resolve it.  Has anyone else had this happen?

Some decent stuff in there but not much for me. I do think I’m going to triple dip on Thumper (have it on PS4 and mobile).
 
Wow a bunch of repeats from the past couple weeks there. Nothing for me, which is good since I'm trying to save up for State of Decay 2, it launches on my birthday so buying a treat for myself.

Glad Hand of Fate 2 is on sale, sad it’s only 15% off. I’m finally playing the first one since it went GWG a while ago.

It’s pretty great! Hoping it finishes strong and the sequel is good.
 
So I've been playing Fortnite a lot recently, and actually with CAGs for once, so it's great to see just how much effort they're putting in to making this game fun to play while adding new experiences constantly. Even better than the monthly updates that Overwatch still gets.

I also just got a new phone so decided to check out PUBG Mobile, and it is insane how bad these two games make PUBG Xbox look. Fortnite runs at 60 FPS on all platforms and is pretty much identical on phones aside from controls. PUBG Mobile is made by a totally different team, but is built from the ground up with a few considerations made for phone experience. As such, the entire menu and leveling system is streamlined, and it has a bunch of graphics options because of the varying specs of phones. Level of detail and frame-rate cap options, but overall the experience is way smoother than Xbox, without the weird loading issues at the start of a match and no terrible lag spikes when fighting.

 
Don't know if I should grab the rogue remaster or not. Ezio trilogy has hit $20 (60%), the current gen games have gotten pretty cheap but the most comparable thing, stick of truth "remaster" has only gone on sale once in the 3 months it's been up (for the same price rogue currently is).

PSA: Morphite is a port of a mobile title, but it's basically No Man's Sky Lite. Not a game for graphics whores, but it is really a slick looking game. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it because exploring the planets is the kind of mindless relaxing activity that I need after a hard day at work. One of my top 3 Xbox One games of that type after Spelunky and Stardew Valley. Highly recommended.

Also unlike the stick of truth, Ubisoft doesn't have to deal with an ip holder for assassins so its probably more likely to go on a deeper sale later this year.

Thanks, I'll have to take a look at them. As long as it's not wicked janky I'll probably enjoy it. I beat it on the 360, so I know what I'm getting into plot and gameplay wise. If I do pick it up $21 isn't as bad as the full price I paid for it on release day (along with unity) and waiting at least a year to play it.

They are both great, but both have a learing curve.

Mordheim is a turn based tactical / fantasy combat game with permadeath / permanent injuries. It is hard as hell until you get a warband to level 5. At that point, you unlock a perk system that can be used for any warbands.

Blood Bowl is a turn based tactical / fantasy football game with permadeath. I am not a football fan, but I had a great time playing through this game.

Both are based on tabletop games and use hidden dice rolls in determining action success - highly recommended.

It's rare when a sale doesn't begin on a Monday night, but it does happen. The current Game Pass DLC discounts began in the middle of last week and appear to run until Wednesday morning instead of tomorrow morning. Free play weekends are usually accompanied with a related sale, though those usually also carry over into the following week, switching to Gold only on Monday night.

I also just got a new phone so decided to check out PUBG Mobile, and it is insane how bad these two games make PUBG Xbox look. Fortnite runs at 60 FPS on all platforms and is pretty much identical on phones aside from controls. PUBG Mobile is made by a totally different team, but is built from the ground up with a few considerations made for phone experience. As such, the entire menu and leveling system is streamlined, and it has a bunch of graphics options because of the varying specs of phones. Level of detail and frame-rate cap options, but overall the experience is way smoother than Xbox, without the weird loading issues at the start of a match and no terrible lag spikes when fighting.

I think it seems ok in theory, but they released it WAY too early. It just looks extremely sloppy to me, and the terrible first impression it made probably killed it's chance at getting a decent player base or console release. It's averaging about 400 concurrent players most of the time, maxing out at 1200 at peak on weekends. Pretty much no Twitch presence at this point either.

I loved Tesla vs. Lovecraft (my first Plat on PS4). Feels like Crimsonland with different maps. Might be my favorite 10tons game yet. It is significantly easier than past games, but still fun.

Thanks for reminding me, need to check topcashback. Going to get Nine Parchments for sure, I want The Council but I'd prefer to wait for more episodes to be out.

That’s exactly what happened the last time the Caps played the Lightning. Which is why I still have elevated blood pressure for now. Though some friends and I are starting to think the Caps will exorcise all their demons this postseason. First it was Tortorella, now it’s the Penguins, next is Tampa, and possibly an exCaps GM in Nashville or Vegas in the finals. That Filip Forsberg trade with Nashville still stings.
