It got pretty decent reviews, you sure you're not thinking of Unity that came out at the exact same time on PS4 and Xbox One? That got trashed pretty hard. I recently played through Rogue, it's a fine enough game but kind of hard to go back to all AssCreed after origins. It's almost like a mod of Black Flag except in the snow instead of the south seas.

edit: nvm the remaster portion is key there, yeah never checked reviews on that remaster since I didn't see any reason for it

Yeah I haven't had these issues either, but I think it should of probably been an Xbox One X exclusive, it's night and day playing on my X and my OG Xbox One or my Xbox One S.

Caps might have blown their load and crashing and burning after this series. This might have been their "Cup" to finally boot the Penguins out of the playoffs for the first time in 24 years plus Tampa is seriously so stacked it should be considered cheating! But I hope not. i want to see a Preds vs Caps finals.

 
Got 100% on Virginia today. I don't know how that game has so many good reviews. It is easily the worst walking simulator I've ever played. It has the most obtuse pretentious ending. Lots of random weird stuff happens just for the sake of it. I guess if you don't have anything to say as a developer, just make your game really weird so people can interpret it however they want. At least it didn't take too long to get the 1000.

Whatever happened to the Project Gotham Racing series? Why did it die? If they can’t bring it back Microsoft should create a spiritual successor series: Project Scorpio Racing lol

Bizarre Creations, wasn't owned by MS, eventually Activision bought them and shut them down a few years later shortly after "Blur" came out. It sounds like the rights to Project Gotham are still out there somewhere, but with the different Forza games especially Horizon I don't see MS having much interest in it. Racing games seem to be the least of Xbox's game library issues and it doesn't look like Burnout Paradise remaster has done gangbusters with as much as it's been on sale.

Saw this news pop up this morning. This source is kind of flaky sometimes, but at least an interesting headline. The problem is again this is stuff that needed to be done 5 years ago not going to solve anything very quickly.

That's cool though, very talent heavy area so it means it will give them more resources in the future. Right now they are hamstrung by not having many studios.
 
This may be my first day one BC purchase. I'll have to double check that I don't already have a disc, but I don't even know if I played this one, or which Burnout pre-Paradise it was that I played.

I see a bunch of bundles added to the store, makes me think a sale is coming. Fallout GOTY/Skyrim, Prey/Dishonored 2, Doom/Wolf 2.

Looking at the sales, I got a laugh because I'm 12. Penarium.
 
Was Revenge on sale recently?  Tempted to just drop the $10 since it's an all-time favorite but say what you will about EA they do put their shit on sale all the time.

With this, I can pretty much retire my 360 completely. Only major want now is Mark of the Ninja, but maybe we’ll get the remaster that’s coming to Switch.
 
I think Burnout 3: Takedown is the one I played. I don't think I remember this one. Either way, really considering it if I don't magically have it already.
 
Picked up Assassin's Creed, seeing how I've gotten most of the 360 ones for free, and I still need to play from the beginning, and Burnout Revenge. Sucks that I own two copies for OG but currently none for 360, but the recent price drop does help.

Does anyone know if there is more dlc planned for AC Origins? The packs with achievements are selling for less than the season pass was going for when it was on sale, so I’m considering the purchase
 
Fortnite Thanos event is live.

I've been on live chat with Xbox support for at least an hour now to get my purchasing issue fixed.

It's still a bit busted at the moment. It's supposed to only have rare or higher weapon drops but everything is dropping, so it's pretty hard to kill Thanos with the weak stuff. They nerfed Thanos already as well. Earlier he had 300 shield 700 health, but now it's 200 and 800. When he gets a kill his shield is instantly filled so he is pretty ridiculous. If someone half decent gets it they're near unstoppable since most people aren't focusing him yet.

 
Thank God Burnout Revenge finally went BC, we can get back to OT banter.

Only thing that killed me in this game was the achievement requirements, some of those upper tier races are ridiculously hard. Have never and just accept will never be able to pop those.

Yeahhh when it's 3-5 games, there's usually one big one and a bunch of random XBL arcade stuff no one really cares about. As long as it's steady, I won't complain.
 
Damn, Sam! Burnout Revenge is in my top 3 games of all time. And with the Xbox One controller, it should be that much more enjoyable! Perfect game for blowing off some steam.

Is there any way to check progress on the xbox quest or do you just do the tasks to the best of your knowledge and hope you get rewarded? I'm playing fortnite for like 45 minutes to make sure I get my 30 minutes in but was wondering if there's anywhere that shows checkboxes saying it's complete.

Kind of? If you go to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/promotions/xbox-quests There is a link to check your progress. However it says may not be real-time data. Which is clearly true since it is still showing last months quests, and it shows I hadn't added all 5 friends yet which I did weeks before the end of the month.
