I'm well on my way to the full 1000 in Dark Souls Remaster but the gawd damn Mimic with the Lightning Spear fell down the elevator shaft. The same shite happened to me on the Xbox 360, hate that bastard, so all my highest ranked weapons achievements are going to see a delay.

agreed, buying a terrible game for $5 just because it has easy achivements is basically a gamerscore microtransaction. It might as well say 1000 GS - $5 on the store page.

Anybody else get an error when clicking a link on the storeparser site. After I click on a game to go to the Microsoft site I get this:

Advertiser no longer active!

You have arrived on this page because the website you clicked through from is running an advert for an advertiser of Tradedoubler. That client is no longer active with Tradedoubler.

This shows up, then I get after bout 10 seconds it takes me to the Microsoft home page.

Another weird thing I get is clicking on the similar weekly deal thread for PS4 is a total freak out by Chrome talking about raptr.com and going straight to a red flag site

edit: I see they are at least aware

And 9 doesn’t have easy mode. Proper kick-you-in-the-crotch difficulty that isn’t cheap.

Additionally, I have exactly the cost of the Horizon 2 complete add on bundle. I have a couple hours to decide. I can’t be certain I’ll bother playing it if it goes GWG, but I think I could let my son go nuts with it if that happens.

I’ll decide over a beer

Jackbox collection way too high. I get why, but no way for that cost.

I got to see a man attempt to wrestle a stuffed cat Saturday night, and the crowd went crazy.

Competitive Tekken is way better than I expected, more fun than Dragonball.

Best way to make a decision. Horizon 2 was really good even if I didn't like the setting as much as others, it was certainly a leap forward with the new hardware and how regular Forza seems to be in a real rut.

 
The Megaman Legacy collection says its on sale for 15 days... but Typoman says its on sale for 8 days... could that mean the summer sale is next week and the Legacy Collection is planning on staying on sale throughout the Summer sale??

Yeah, I saw that last night. The 360 links still seem to work.

And the site's "Share" option on the deal list pages have been broken since the big E3 sale. Makes pulling together the OP tougher, since I start with their BBCode. The share option on the site usually chokes whenever there's a big sale, but they usually have it fixed in a few days.

 
A lot of people hating on the sale this week, which I don't really get. A lot of hate going on in the thread lately I feel :(

Haven't seen it mentioned yet but Attack on Titan 2 has a Microsoft Rewards quest this month, 6,000 points. Surviving Mars has one till the 15th for 4,000 points. Also there are a handful in the Rewards app on the Xbox if you're in the insider program.

Edit: Its attack on titan 2 that has the points. Not attack on titan that on sale.

A few things that look interesting on sale but I think I'll wait and say my credits in hope for hellblade during the summer sale or AC odyssey.
 
Wonder if those new fighters included in the newest ufc3 revision will be available for those who already own the game?
I think it was Matt serra, and cross cop along with a few others.

Related question, does the discount for buying a game with your Game Pass subscription include bundles? Like could I get the 20% off the deluxe edition of Horizon 4?

I see 20% off the Halo Wars 2 Complete Edition and State of Decay 2 Ultimate Edition.

The State of Decay 2 regular and ultimate both say 16 days remaining on their discounts. A few other Game Pass games also have 16 days remaining (Gears 4, Super Lucky's Tale, Disneyland Adventures, Fallout 4, Abzu). So that may be the start of the summer sale.

 
Why would anyone buy Forza Horizon 4 or even pre-order when you can try it free with gamepass? Besides FH games are always the same, with the same floaty driving, same concept, same cars, I do like the Forza franchise and have all games inlcuding FM7 but The Crew 2 is so much more fun so far. The races are actually so good you want to replay them unlike Forza.

haha you are honestly comparing first of all Forza games with Horizon games and now claiming that The Crew is good with it's "new" fake social media thing, game made me want to puke after 20 minutes just like the first one

I said the races in The Crew 2 are so good you actually want to replay them unlike Forza.

I really liked FM3+FM4 but see FM7 it does not even have new tracks really except 1..

And some of the greatest tracks are missing or lackluster remakes.

I do actually like the auction house a lot, and all the different cars, plus that in FH you always get a new area. But all cars feel the same and its always the exactly same thing since FH2. The Crew 2 at least is soemthing FRESH with like 20 different types of events plus more coming.If you see all the details like in vegas events, all the fun jumps thru the cities, the shortcuts in the races. You can see its actually FUN races instead of copy&paste races as in Forza.

fair enough, I'm not much of a defender of the main line Forza series it's rather bland and boring, but the controls in The Crew have always seemed off and 5 hours in on 2 this social media stuff is cringe worthy

 
Lococycle is uh... interesting. So over the top you thought it would be one of those games that are so bad it will be good, but so far just bland to me. I think I'll give it a run through since It's only 4 1/2-5 hours long.

it fell really flat for me, but now in retrospect that Twisted Pixel was trying anyway possible to find it's way out the door from Microsoft I get it. Another team that saw the Matrick ship sinking

Discount isn't available with pre-order. Also, their stance on things :

I know we technically aren't "within 30 days of launch", but I assume that is intended to apply post-release.

Also, it looks like they're switching up the edition contents with FH4. In the past, Deluxe had VIP and Ultimate had VIP and the car pass. For FH4, Deluxe has the pass, Ultimate has VIP and the pass plus 2 expansions. Now I'm really going to be all over that.

 
I know no one really needs the recommendation, but if that's the Summer Sale just spend your money on Nier Automata. First game I've paid more than $20 for since the midnight release of GTA 4, and NA is worth every penny.

What reviews are you reading? Forza 6 is the best of the Motorsport series this gen. $5 is an absolute steal. The Porsche and NASCAR expansions are frequently on sale too.

Was about to ask the same thing, who made those reviews that claim FM6 is a ripoff? FM5 had too many microtransactions and was clearly built to be always-online and FM7 went crazy with lootboxes. That leaves FM6 as the most balanced of the three. I personally prefer the Horizon games though.

Where is Forza 6 available for $5 ?

I like Xbox earlier and it had $29.99
I'mean waiting on a cheap deal for fm7 as well.

For a good racing game, try the dirt series. Love dirt 4, I think it's great!
