I still have 2 dlc packs to get you had me worried it was desisted lol. They delist forza games after 4 years. Next year it will be delisted this year is Forza Horizon 2. There is one version that is not for sale by itself anymore that’s what you happened to see. If on the website check included in below on the page where it shows forza 6 and you can pick from the 3 bundles they have. Also yes you can redownload it if it gets delisted

With the investment into original Xbox BC it would be silly for them to throw it all away at this point. Will be nice to buy the next Xbox and already have a huge library to play.

my brother and I have been playing through lots of lego games since they are simple (he doesn't really game much anymore) and have been hoping for lego harry potter to go BC or get the port that ps4 got, so actually really excited about that.

Whenever the summer sale ends. You can bet your bottom dollar that some of those games are going to gamepass. Only logical reason for the delayed announcement. If you told me for example Prey coming to gamepass next month no way I'd buy the game on sale at $15.

8K is going to be worthless for any normal consumer-sized television. I really hope it isn't the next "big thing" that the TV industry tries to push on us.

I was being sarcastic. They can hardly get games to run at 4k as is with a solid 30fps. I'm more of a 60fps guy 90% of the time.

I can't find any digital foundry views/tech reviews. Curios how much they improved the collection outside of just making the games BC.

I couldn't find it on the Xbox console store. I will check the website. I wanted to play the Porsche pack again.
I got worried for a bit because when I searched for it originally, it showed up with 0 results and store parser has it as delisted.

On these sales, in this case for Xbox Gold, has it always been that you can't gift Gold to someone at the sale price? It's showing up as full price when I try.

From what I can see, the only compilation game to hit GWG was the Sega Vintage Collection: Streets of Rage, which was earlier this year.

Forza going GWG since its that "time of the year," made me realize we haven't gotten Killer Instinct season 3 yet. KI Ultimate Season 1 was a freebie January 2016, KI Ultimate Season 2 January 2017 and so far, no season 3 freebie. Drat

With MP now not allowing people to see MI6 without e-ticketing, I think it will be dead within a week or two. Regardless, I cancelled and am probably going to Sinemia.
 
Is the Forza Horizon 3 Platinum Bundle the definitive way to get all of the expansions and car content? I'm thinking about picking it up as I'm almost finished with FH2.

Yeah, it gives you literally everything. I bought it when it was $47 and it's well worth it. Good to see it's being sold again, because after I first bought it, you couldn't buy that bundle for a long while for whatever reason.

I've always thought Sinemia was the better choice, they just lost out the publicity since MP was the first to hit the price point.

I already cancelled MP, after the introduction of "premium price" added to see new movies. Mine was a extra $2.49 for each movie plus the $9.99 each month. I was saving like $1 each month over paying out of pocket, not worth the hassle of them changing the TOS at a whim.

 
On the fence for SW Battlefront II. For the price I'd probably get my money's worth, and it seems like a good casual MP game.

Very tempted by Prey, but as has been stated, Bethesda has been very supportive of Game Pass. However, they have mainly put older games with a lot of DLC (Fallout 3-4, ESO), while Prey is newer and has a new expansion.

Also tempted by Lego Avengers for $8. Is the extra content for the deluxe edition worth $4? Or is there plenty to do in the base game?

Guess I got lucky. I saw Mission Impossible: Fallout on Thursday with MoviePass and there was not e-ticketing restriction. Just the normal method of buying a ticket at the box office. Used my Regal Crown Club and I got a free HDX VUDU copy of Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. Code was e-mailed. I got a year of MoviePass & Fandor for $90 from Costco awhile back. If they go under, maybe Costco will at least partially refund.

You must’ve been seeing one movie a month then, otherwise that doesn’t add up. Regardless, MP appears about done. I haven’t had any issues so far since my fave theater takes e-ticketing, but the writing is on the wall.

I think I solved my screen flicker / snowy static issue. Pretty sure the power strip I'm using wasn't giving enough power for 4k display, which was happening for menus/movies/etc. I set the resolution on the One S to 1080p after it kept happening this morning, and then it stopped.

Possible the TV wasn't getting enough power for 4k, which would explain why the PS3 wasn't doing it, but either way, so far so good.

My friend ended up replacing his XBox one X and the problems went away, but also replaced his TV. So it was either the TV or XBox.

It wan't a constant issue to warrant the full replacement but his X was in warranty and he was getting a new TV anyways.

Yep, that's exactly it. That's actually the thread I read through which made me change the output resolution to 1080p. So far, so good with the resolution change, so it may be a wattage issue.
