That happens to me every so often. My suggestion is to do a hard reset, go into the apps section to show your games and let it resync itself. If you have a large catalog of games on there it will take some time for your system to see everything again but it should show up eventually. If it doesn't update the list the first time you log into that section then go into another app for a little while and then come back a bit later to see if the list comes back accurately. That's what I have done in the past and it seems to work each time.

GTAV (I know it's from 2013 but I still haven't played it)
Ghost Recon Wildlands (the cagcast talks this up so much I almost buy it every sale)
Doom/Wolf 2 pack (just not sure I would play it before Christmas when it will prob be on sale again)

I might preorder Overcooked 2 before it drops...

Prey was one of my favorite games of last year, but it is also definitely a game you could complete via Game Pass in a weekend if you really got into it. I rented it via Redbox and was half done with it by the end of the rental.

I don't know enough about the DLC to say whether it's worth it by itself, though.

 
Like others here I'm still heavily considering Doom and Wolfenstein 2 for $26. I feel like they will never be any cheaper than that individually so may as well get them now. Same thought with the Prey and Dishonored 2 bundle.
 
Well, I gave into temptation and bought Destiny 2 with the expansions. Thanks to $4 Microsoft cash it brought it down to $16. I’ve been enjoying it more than I thought. I’m only lvl 9 right now, but if anyone wants to team up for raids and whatnot feel free to friend me, just let me know you’re a fellow CAG.

I got out of MoviePass once AMC released their A-List. They are all over where I'm at and the one 5 minutes away from me plays 95% of the movies I want to see, and then the AMC on the southside gets 2-3 independents each month so that covers the others. It's easily been worth it for me. By the end of my first month I'll have watched 12 movies (3 a week) for $19.95. Totally worth it, only things excluded are the premium events like Fathom events, Studio Ghibli showings, and things like that. I would bet the marathons of Marvel movies or double features of things are also excluded, but they haven't had one since I've been part of it.

We don't see enough in a month to justify the A List price, but we considered it before I found Sinemia. We're going to take our chances with MP this week and maybe get our accounts banned by choosing the wrong movies, but after that we're making the switch.
 
Only got injustice and the long dark so far.

Itching to grab battlefront but I think it’ll hit $15 again and probably $12.80 or lower by Christmas. I still want destiny as well but with such little time we wont play.

What time can we expect the sale to officially end?

Kicking around the idea of grabbing Batmen: Return to Arkham.  Already beat the games on my 360 but it'd be fun to play through them again.  Held off on picking up Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2- $8.99 is too rich to turn a game digital that's not backwards compatible yet.  would be an easier pick-up at sub $5.00

Pretty sure it was multi-disc on 360, and Konami never cared enough to make an XBL distro of it the way Rockstar does for their multi-disc games. Only way that'll happen now is through BC, same as ME2-3.

One of the titles I'm considering as well. I haven't played The New Order or Old Blood though, so Wolfenstein 2 will be in the backlog for awhile.

I've also wondered about this and have been waiting to flip my physical copy to digital. Thank you for the explanation.

The game was so much fun to play and the narration by Patrick Stewart made it even better

I was about to buy but didn’t want to use real cash for it (can’t use credit on x one). I’ll lrobably wait for cheaper physical and trade back in after.

Though I would be all over it if it got an Xbox one x patch.

Sorry I'll be more clear.

Black Ops 3 and Modern Warfare 1 remastered are not X enhanced. They are honestly the two biggest MP games without X patches now that Battlefield 1 is getting a X patch.

I have a on going list on the XBox forum listing all games with Pro patches but no X patches. Down to 37 games I believe now.

Also they really are waiting till the sale is over for gamepass additions huh? Hope It's Pillars of Eternity.

Thanks to all those who posted their thoughts on Destiny 2 over the last twelve days when I asked for impressions at its $20 price point.

I want to buy a multiplayer-focused Games As A Service title to have something to kick around in fits-and-starts, but I remembered that Fall 2018 is going to be littered with them - from some of the biggest franchises in gaming: Fallout 76, the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2, The Division 2 .... and that's to say nothing of whatever updates we get for released titles like Monster Hunter World, Destiny 2, Grand Theft Auto V, etc.

So while some of us may want a multiplayer GAAS to sink our time into, the season to start looking really is in October/November.  And hey - if the CAG in you can wait for Black Friday, all the better.

Can anyone confirm my suspicion that there is no way to gift a pre-order?  I feel like this has probably been asked many times in this thread before, so i'm very sorry.

Also, for the current sale, I see no way to use my existing MS/Xbox credit to buy a membership at $40 or gift a membership at $40 since I am currently Gold.  Is this correct?  Earlier in the week, comments led me to believe you could get around this, but I don't see how unless you are gifting from an account that does not have Gold.  Again, sorry if this has been talked to death.

This happened to me. I think its because the first episode is free. Check "manage game and add-ons" to make sure you have all 5 episodes and not just the first.

The only thing I've bought so far are 3 of the fx3 pinball packs/table.

Lately I've been trying to find some extra 360 controllers for MP and for future-proofing. I have a wired 360 controller I've taken great care of, but we all know that used stuff has often been beaten into the ground. Used controllers also sell for about $20, so I've been looking for fire sale bundles.

I went on Craigslist and found someone selling a huge bundle for $50. The console couldn't read discs, so I gave him $30 for all the games and two wireless controllers which work well enough. One of them has a weak RB button, but I think I can fix it.

To top it all off, I traded in RDR and New Vegas (they were dupes for me) for over $20 to GS, which is going to the XBL sale before it ends. About half of them I don't want or need, they'll go to the local used store.

Very tempted to give Star Ocean a spin, and some of these others, it's nice to have 360 copies (FFXIII) but I never wanted to actually spend money on them.

Prey was one of my favorite games of last year, but it is also definitely a game you could complete via Game Pass in a weekend if you really got into it. I rented it via Redbox and was half done with it by the end of the rental.

I don't know enough about the DLC to say whether it's worth it by itself, though.

I grabbed the deluxe edition because the DLC looked interesting. I really enjoyed it, it's like a story based rogue lite. The map and quests are static, but the environmental hazards, enemies, loot, and quest locations get shuffled about. Hammering out cheevos left me wanting a break, but I like making a run when I want to zone out for 20 min.

Also, I thought the different characters were a great way to find a playstyle for the main campaign that I like.

With MoviePass on its death bed, I was wanting to switch to Sinemia but didn’t like the yearly only plans. Today they started taking monthly but with a $19.99 “initiation” fee.
Probably not worth it if you are doing the $3.99 one movie a month plan.

But I was doing the $13.99 3/mo. plan that includes IMAX. So I didn’t want to pay $168 up front for a year. I feel safer with paying $33.99 for the first month then $13.99 a month especially after the MP fiasco. So I just signed up.

Just a heads up for anyone else looking at it.

Used the Xbox app to add / friend request, first time trying to do it through the app so I'm not sure if it worked.

Been playing mostly solo, so haven't done any heroic strikes, nightfall or raids.
 
My lone haul from this sale was an extra year of XBL Gold to bring me to May of 2020. Had enough for $5 in MS/Bing Rewards and also had a $5 Best Buy cert so OOP only cost me around $32 after tax. Not a bad deal. Oh and we also got a year for my future sister-in-law so I guess that counts, too, since she’s broke and her father just passed and I didn’t like seeing her on a recurring $9.99/month plan (ugh!).
As for games, I’ve got a bunch already, and though some on sale look good, I’ve bought a few recently that I need to play first - Nier and Okami in particular - and also I’ve got GamePass paid up through early 2020 as well so I should probably dig more into those before spending more money that I probably don’t have.
Now excuse me while I go play more Overwatch or dig back in to the Destiny 2 expansion.
 
I picked up Enter the Gungeon, Resident Evil Revelations (to complete the collection), and Deus Ex MD. Wanted to get the Final Fantasy 13 games, but I'll wait until they're BC before I even bother.

 
SW Battlefield II and MK XL my final haul. The Prey/Dishonor 2 combo was the hardest to pass on. Best deal overall in my opinion (if you didn’t own either) was by far the Fallout 4 GOTY/Skyrim SE combo...just gives me hope FO4 goty will hit $20 soon...soon
